 Story:

4 teenagers from Hong Kong (Dak, May, April & Fai) went to Thailand and look for their friend Gui. Gui shows them the 10 ways of seeing the ghost.

5 of them practice these 10 ways (actually only 8, excluded no8 & no9) and they manage to see the ghost. But they never realize its a path leading them to the hell...

This is one of my fav among "the eye" film franchise, though it might not be as good as the 1st & 2nd movie, but it added up some spice of comedy and energetic feeling in the whole movie. I just wonder after this movie, how many types of ways anybody use to see the ghost? lol

 Story:

Set in modern Bangkok, the life of groom Mak is disturbed, by successive nightmares with a ghost woman, Mae Nak, an ancient Thai legend. He meets his beloved fiancée Nak to acquire an antique brooch and an old abandoned house in Phra Khanong through an unscrupulous real estate agent Angel and they decide to buy the property.

After their wedding, two small-time thieves break into the house and steal their gifts and other objects. Mak happens to see the criminals on the streets of Bangkok selling his goods. He chases the burglars and they run their van over Mak, who falls into a deep coma. The ghost Mae Nak protects the young couple against Angel and the burglars, but in return she holds the soul of Mak.

Nak finds the remains of Mae Nak in an ancient cemetery, and with some monks, they exorcise Mae Nak from Mak using the ancient brooch and release her spirit.

L² Comment: 

The storyline is not bad, like the way how they cut off the forehead bone and make it into a thingy to capture the spirit. This is not a ghost movie which simply scares you out of nowhere but it based a lot on the relationship between the actors & actresses as well.

The Sin / Choo 罪孽

Story:

Taep came back to the fishing village after 10 years of leaving his father Chuang behind. Taep met a beautiful girl but only realize this lady Raem is his stepmother. Raem is not happily living with Chuang as Chuang is rough in sex and always hurt Raem.

 

Taep and Raem has feeling with each other and deeply fall in love after Raem safe Taep by blowing air into his mouth when he almost drown. Both of them have sex and spend times together whenever Chuang went out for fishing. But both of them never know Chuang actually knows and watching closely at them. Chuang instructed his followers to kill Taep and Raem but failed.

 

Chuang make his move to kill Taep and Raem, he did it. Both Taep and Raem die together in the deep blue sea while Chuang lost everything in his life...

This is an incest but very romantic movie... The relationship is wrong but maybe both the actor and actress looks so good that i actually kinda love this film a lot :) All of the 3 have fabulous body and i love it a lot... yummy

 Story:

While traveling during the night, the Mask Mass Production van driven by Lae hits a bus and the driver and passengers awake in hell. Art, Ja, Chod, Oon, Kim, Uncle Tao and Lae are surrounded by demons that force to follow them through an inhospitable land to meet Satan. They learn that they will be judged and punished in accordance with their sins. However Art sneaks and finds a place were he sees that all of them are in coma in a hospital; therefore they might have a chance to escape from hell. But the sinners will have no chance to return before they are tortured for their sins. Will they have chance to live their lives?

L² Comment:

Holly shit, the cover of this movie is so attractive but it was totally so not related to the movie!!! The whole movie talks about the 18 level of hell in Buddhism. I almost forgot that Thai is a Buddhist country too... It did show the creepiness of hell and how we will be punished when our life ends... beware~

Right By Me / Rainbow Boys

Story:

Tat a nerd with his queen friend Nat went to a gay & lesbian support club "Right by me", they were surprise to see the sportboy Ek turn up at there who is admired by Tat. But Nat has always fall in love with Tat and started to jealous about Ek.

Ek born in a poor family and his father caught him touching with his boy-friend during his 10 years old. Ek has a girlfriend Da who is pretty and Ek avoid himself from admitting that he like man. In another hand, Tat is still in the closet from his parents but his father dislike Tat to befriend with Nat who happened to be sissy.

Tat gave Ek tuition on his stats subject, slowly the both build up trust and friendship. Ek was afraid his straight friend laugh at him and turn away from Tat. Nat try to kiss Tat one day and was rejected. Ek feel weird about leaving Tat and finally told Da on a break off that he is gay. Ek has a fight with his father and spilled out he is gay in front of the parents. Tat came to visit him, they finally have sex for the first time.

In the next session of "Right by me", Ek appeared and hold Tat's hand.

Kinda love this film, the youth of gay life and the way of coming out from closet is always exciting and scary. The movie totally show all of this and i bet all of you will enjoy it. And btw, Jackie is so cute, with or without glasses :)

House of Haunted 鬼屋

Story:

The Thai traditional house was originally a Thai dancing school. Unknown to many, a curse has been placed on the dancing school. When Manote and Jariya, heirs to a millionaire, take over the house, they try to renovate the place and turn it into a resort.

They ask Ming, Jai and their close friend, Jenepop who is an architect to help them with the renovations. Because Jenepop posseses the sixth sense, he feels something mysterious and invisible surrounding him all the time. He starts getting visions of Thai female dancers and hears the sound of Thai music. All these factors add up and cause extreme fear in Jenepop who believes that bad things will happen to anyone who tries to change the house.

Seriously, they have to be great full that i'm not rating a 0 or negative mark for this film. Well, what do u expect from a cheap production film? The storyline is ok, but it totally does not match the movie's title at all. What about changing it into "Legend of a traditional dancer" ? I think that would be better...

The actresses are good, but the movie labeling it self as ghost and horror movie totally have spoiled my mood ....

5 friends went back to their hometown after they received the news that one of their best friend, Ta's father has passed away. But before going back, Kim has accepted Paw as her boyfriend. When they reach their hometown, Ta feel uneasy to see this couple as Ta and Kim were in love 2 years ago when they are still studying. All of them pay a visit to Panor, their teacher who is also the stepmother of Ta. And all their past memories flashed back.

2 years ago, Ta found out that Panor is having an affair with another teacher, O Larn. Ta told his father but the stepmother has already make a fake news to the husband first. To get the real evidence, Ta along with Kim, Paw, Tair, Nut and Go went to film up the sex scene of Panor and O Larn. But this was discover by O Larn. O Larn beat them off one by one and tied them up in the classroom. O Larn even force the beautiful Nut to give him a blowjob in front of all her friends. The gang was so angry and they went to the sorcerer and cast a witchcraft on O Larn. O Larn was cursed and die from fish hook sticking out all over his body. The gang promised not to reveal this and flee away into the bangkok town.

Flashing back to the current time, Nut received a call from her uncle and left the village first. On the night, the gang heard Kim scream. Apparently Ta's grandmother who live next door is eating a car alive because of hunger. Ta claimed that his granny has been mentally sick and lead her back to the house. In the meanwhile, Panor has been doing witchcraft on the gang to take revenge. It seems like Panor has known that the gang cursed on O Larn and caused him to die. To take revenge, Panor has to eat all the flesh of the gang who make the cursed to gain more power, but she will become insane as well.

Nut has actually been killed by Panor when she left alone to the train station to meet her uncle. Panor eat part of Nut's flesh and the rest of the body was cook into porridge and let the gang eat it. Everybody vomit and scream to leave the house. The house was located on the river and there was no boat to fetch them away at the that time. Panor has make another curse and Tair can see spiritual things. Tair scream and ran but there was no where to go. Go is next, lizard poking out from his body and caused him to die in pain. Tair continue to run and the gang has to break into 2. Paw has been illusionize and accidentally treated Kim as Panor and try to shot her with pistol but luckily was stop by Ta.

Pathetic Tair has reached her limit of seeing spiritual things, she digged out her own eyes and accidentally falled into a boiled oil and die. Panor appeared and caught Paw into her hut. She swear and said that she will need to cleansed Paw first before she send him to the three eyes god. She jet anesthetic into Paw and when he get all stiff, she pour hot boiled water into his mouth. Later that, she burn Paw's skin. Just when Paw is about to die, Panor make his heart to pump again to make him suffered.

And the real thing is, Paw has been secretly falling for Panor during the school time and also has sex with his teacher but could not get her. He get jealous and persuade the gang to shot Panor and O Larn sex video. After all this has been told, Kim was shocked. Panor is about to attack and Nut's uncle has brought in the police and shot Panor to death. Kim was injured and send to bangkok's hospital.

When Kim woke up, she realise Ta has been dead all these while after tortured by Panor and the gang was actually accompanied by Ta's spirit all along during their visit. Ta's granny is dead too because Panor has shut her up in a house to let her die in hunger while Ta's father has been soaked into a pot of water to drown. Ta will never give up Kim and forever along her side.

L² Comment:

Basically everyone is telling me how scary this film is, but a high expectation really leads to a greater disappointment. The story is ok, a little bit of twist and turn of the story, but all of them are predictable. The story goes around within people taking revenge on each other and summons black magic.

7 directors on this film, i wonder how they team up and film this since everyone has their own idea and way to direct. But these 7 brains did not create enough spooky thingy to scare me off, too bad~
