 Story: 

Genius, billionaire, and playboy Tony Stark, who has inherited the defense contractor Stark Industries from his father, is in war-torn Afghanistan with his friend and military liaison, Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes to demonstrate the new "Jericho" missile. The convoy is ambushed and Stark is critically wounded by one of his own rocket propelled grenades. He is captured and imprisoned in a cave by the terrorist group the Ten Rings, and an electromagnet is grafted into his chest by fellow captive Yinsen to keep the shrapnel shell shards that wounded him from reaching his heart and killing him. Ten Rings leader Raza offers Stark freedom in exchange for building a Jericho missile for the group, but Tony and Yinsen agree Raza will not keep his word.

Stark and Yinsen secretly build a powerful electric generator called an arc reactor to power Stark's electromagnet and a suit of powered armor to aid in their escape. Although they keep the suit hidden almost to completion, the Ten Rings attack the workshop when they discover their intentions. Yinsen sacrifices himself to divert them while the suit powers up. The armored Stark battles his way out of the cave to find the dying Yinsen, then in anger burns the Ten Rings weapons and flies away, crashing in the desert and destroying the suit. After being rescued by Rhodes, Stark returns home and announces that his company will no longer manufacture weapons. Obadiah Stane, his father's old partner and the company's manager, advises Stark that this may ruin Stark Industries and his father's legacy. In his home workshop, Stark builds an improved version of his suit, as well as a more powerful arc reactor for his chest. Personal assistant Pepper Potts places the original reactor inside a small glass showcase. Though Stane requests details, Stark keeps his work to himself.

At a charity event held by Stark Industries, reporter Christine Everhart informs Stark that his company's weapons, including the Jericho, were recently delivered to the Ten Rings and are being used to attack Yinsen's home village, Gulmira. Stark also learns Stane is trying to replace him as head of the company. Enraged by these revelations, Stark dons his new armor and flies to Afghanistan, where he saves Yinsen's village. While flying home, Stark is shot at by two F-22 Raptor fighter jets. He reveals his secret identity to Rhodes over the phone in an attempt to end the attack. Meanwhile, the Ten Rings gather the pieces of Stark's prototype suit and meet with Stane, who subdues Raza and has the rest of the group killed. Stane has a new suit reverse engineered from the wreckage. Seeking to find any other weapons delivered to the Ten Rings, Stark sends Pepper to hack into the company computer system from Stane's office. She discovers Stane has been supplying the terrorists and hired the Ten Rings to kill Stark, but the group reneged. Potts meets with Agent Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D., a counter-terrorism agency, to inform him of Stane's activities.

Stane's scientists cannot duplicate Stark's arc reactor, so Stane ambushes Stark at his home and takes his. Stark manages to get to his original reactor to replace the taken one. Potts and several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents attempt to arrest Stane, but he dons his suit and attacks them. Stark fights Stane, but is outmatched without his new reactor to run his suit at full capacity. The fight carries Stark and Stane to the top of the Stark Industries building, and Stark instructs Potts to overload the large arc reactor powering the building. This unleashes a massive electrical surge that causes Stane and his armor to fall into the exploding reactor, killing him. The next day, at a press conference, Stark admits to being the superhero the press has dubbed "Iron Man".

In a post-credits scene, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury visits Stark at home, telling him that Iron Man is not "the only superhero in the world", and explaining that he wants to discuss the "Avenger Initiative".

 All these while Iron Man is not my favorite superhero and i'm not sure why. Back in 2008, when I first watch this movie in the cinema with bunch of my friends, everyone was kinda excited while waiting the movie to start but not me... Half way through the movie, I actually fell asleep :P 

Well, 8 years later i decided to give it a try and re-watch this movie since Iron Man is one of the main character of Avengers, and apparently without Avengers he won't get famous by himself at all. This time I did not fall asleep half way but its still not that attractive to me. By giving 6/10, it would be very generous of me to do so... All because Gwyneth Paltrow is in it. Beside that, I realize Terrence Howard is the original cast of War Machine, however he was replaced by Don Cheadle in the future movie, not sure what's the reason, but i feel the producer make the right choice to take Terrence Howard away....

 Story:

In 1991, HYDRA operatives in Siberia revive Sgt. James "Bucky" Barnes from a cryogenic state and condition him to be completely obedient to anyone who recites certain trigger words. He is then dispatched to intercept an automobile carrying a case of super-soldier serum, and assassinate its occupants.

Approximately one year after Ultron's defeat at the hands of the Avengers, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Sam Wilson, and Wanda Maximoff stop Brock Rumlow from stealing a biological weapon from a lab in Lagos, Nigeria. During the fight, Wanda inadvertently causes a building to be bombed, killing Rumlow and a number of Wakandan relief aid workers and increasing the international community's distrust of the Avengers' work.

At the Avengers' headquarters, Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross informs the Avengers that the United Nations is preparing to pass the Sokovia Accords, which will establish an international governing body to monitor and police the rapidly growing superhuman population.[citation needed] The team is divided over the accords: Tony Stark supports oversight because he feels guilty for creating Ultron and for the destruction in Sokovia, while Rogers is distrustful of governmental agendas and wishes the Avengers to remain free to act of their own accord.

Unable to convince Rogers to support the accords, Romanoff bears witness to the ratification of the accords in Vienna, after which a bombing kills King T'Chaka of Wakanda. T'Chaka's son T'Challa vows to kill the bomber, who security footage indicates is Barnes. Despite Romanoff's objections, Rogers and Wilson track Barnes to his hideout in Bucharest and attempt to protect him from the police and T'Challa. Rogers, Wilson, Barnes, and T'Challa are captured. Barnes is soon released by Colonel Helmut Zemo, who uses HYDRA's trigger words to question Barnes about the 1991 mission, then sends him on a rampage. Rogers stops Barnes and sneaks him away; when he regains his senses, Barnes explains that Zemo is responsible, and that he is heading to the Siberian facility where Barnes was held, ostensibly to unfreeze the other Winter Soldiers the stolen serum was used to create.

Rogers recruits Wanda, Clint Barton, and Scott Lang to help him. Stark convinces Ross to let him bring his renegade comrades in, and assembles Romanoff, T'Challa, James Rhodes, and Vision, as well as amateur young hero Peter Parker. Stark and his team intercept Rogers' team at Leipzig/Halle Airport, resulting in a huge battle, during which Romanoff allows Rogers and Barnes escape. The rest of Rogers's team is captured, while Rhodes is paralyzed after being inadvertently shot down by Vision. Romanoff reveals to Stark that Barnes was framed by Zemo, then disappears under the threat of being arrested for not operating under the accords.

Stark follows Rogers and Barnes to the Siberian HYDRA facility and reconciles with them, unaware that he has been pursued by T'Challa. They discover that the other Winter Soldiers have been killed by Zemo; in actuality, Zemo has lured the heroes to the facility to show them video footage from its records that reveals it was Stark's parents who Barnes killed in 1991. Stark turns on Barnes, forcing Rogers to fight for the life of his friend—this is the outcome Zemo has sought, destroying the Avengers from within in revenge for the death of his family in Sokovia. Rogers is able to defeat Stark by disabling his armor, then departs with the wounded Barnes, leaving his his shield behind. Zemo attempts suicide, but is stopped by T'Challa, who takes him in alive.

In the aftermath, Stark gives Rhodes an exoskeleton to let him walk again. Rogers breaks his comrades out of prison and flees to Wakanda, where Barnes chooses to be frozen until a cure for his brainwashing can be found. In a post-credits scene, Parker is recovering from his injuries when his web-shooters project a spider-shaped symbol.

This is one of the movie I have been waiting for such a long time & its finally here :)  But when me and my friends are queuing to buy the movie ticket,I only fucking realize I did not watch "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" !!! How can I missed that? So shitty, but it doesn't affect my feeling and excitement on watching this. 

Storyline, effects of course no doubt is good... It only confuse me a bit when Winter Soldier appeared to be such a strong characters and manage to fight along with all these great powerful superhero. But then I found out that this is kind of a part 2 of CapAmerica: WinterSoldiers... so it make sense then... Not sure whether I will be able to find the winter soldier in any online movie website. Any idea?

 Story: 

In the Eastern European country of Sokovia, the Avengers – Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton – raid a Hydra outpost led by Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, who has been experimenting on humans using the scepter previously wielded by Loki. They encounter two of Strucker's experiments – twins Pietro, who has superhuman speed, and Wanda Maximoff, who can manipulate minds and throw energy blasts – and apprehend Strucker, while Stark retrieves Loki's scepter.

Stark and Banner discover an artificial intelligence within the scepter's gem, and secretly use it to complete Stark's "Ultron" global defense program. The unexpectedly sentient Ultron, believing he must eradicate humanity to save Earth, eliminates Stark's A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. and attacks the Avengers during a victory party at their headquarters. Escaping with the scepter, Ultron uses the resources in Strucker's Sokovia base to upgrade his rudimentary body and build an army of robot drones. He recruits the Maximoff twins, who harbor a grudge against Stark for weapons responsible for their parents' deaths, and together, they visit the South African shipyard base of arms dealer Ulysses Klaue to obtain vibranium. The Avengers battle them, but Wanda subdues the heroes with haunting visions, causing the Hulk to run amok and forcing Stark to use his powerful "Veronica" armor to stop him.

A worldwide backlash and the doubts and fears Wanda's hallucinations have caused send the team into hiding at Barton's safehouse farm, where they meet Barton's wife, Laura, and children. Thor departs to consult with Dr. Erik Selvig on the meaning of the apocalyptic future he saw in his hallucination. Realizing an attraction between them, Romanoff and Banner plan to flee together after fighting Ultron. Nick Fury arrives and encourages the team to form a plan to stop Ultron. In Seoul, South Korea, Ultron forces Banner's friend Dr. Helen Cho to use her synthetic tissue technology, vibranium, and the scepter's gem to create the perfect body for him. When Ultron begins uploading himself into the body, Wanda is able to read his mind; discovering his plan for human extinction, the Maximoffs turn on Ultron. Rogers, Romanoff, and Barton hunt Ultron and retrieve the synthetic body, but Ultron captures Romanoff.

The Avengers fight amongst themselves when Stark secretly uploads J.A.R.V.I.S. – who is still operational after hiding from Ultron inside the internet – into the synthetic body. Thor returns to help activate the body with lightning, explaining that the gem on its brow – one of the six Infinity Stones, the most powerful objects in existence – was part of his "vision". The robot and the Maximoffs join the Avengers, and the team heads for Sokovia, where Ultron has used the remaining vibranium to build a machine to lift a large part of the city skyward, intending to crash it into the ground to cause global extinction. As the city begins to lift, Banner rescues Romanoff, who awakens the Hulk for the battle. The Avengers fight Ultron's army while delaying Ultron from activating his plan's final procedure. Fury arrives in a Helicarrier with Maria Hill, James Rhodes and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to assist in evacuating civilians, but Pietro dies when he shields Barton from a barrage of fire. A grieving Wanda abandons her post to destroy Ultron's primary body in revenge, inadvertently allowing one of his drones to activate his machine. The landmass plummets, but Stark and Thor overload the machine and shatter the city into pieces. In the aftermath, the Hulk, unwilling to endanger Romanoff by being with her, departs in a Quinjet, while the Vision confronts and then destroys Ultron's last remaining body.

Later, the Avengers have established a new base in upstate New York, run by Fury, Hill, Cho, and Selvig. Believing the Mind Stone is safe with the Vision, Thor returns to Asgard to learn more about the forces he suspects have manipulated recent events. Stark and Barton retire from the team, and Rogers and Romanoff prepare to train new Avengers: Rhodes, Wanda, the Vision, and Sam Wilson.

In a mid-credits scene, Thanos retrieves the Infinity Gauntlet and, dissatisfied by the failures of his pawns, vows to hunt for the Infinity Stones personally.

This movie is definitely better than the first movie which has shown in 2012. The first few second of the movie has already caught my attention and the stunt is magnificent! I didn't read the comic, but putting Hulk and Black Widow together is a good idea and I love to watch the scenes whenever they are together. This time Captain America & Thor seems less important compare to the first movie, but I still love them both. The best part would be the Twins whom have the super power~

 Story:

Steven Soderberg makes a testy little script about an ad man in therapy with a bizarre psychiatrist exploring a recurring sensual dream. Shot is black and white the actors give it their all but the story is silly and becomes boring with all the distractions Soderberg works into the weak plot.

3. The Hand

 Story:

Wong Kar Wai presents the strongest of the three films in a dark story about a tailor who sublimates his desire for a courtesan by making clothes for her - a 'servant' who finally reverses his role. The photography and interweaving of the characters is very beautiful to experience.

To be fair, each movie will have a full 3 marks, the extra 1 mark will depends on what kind of surprise i got when watching it. For the `st & 2nd movie, sadly i will only score a 1 for each of them. Wong Kar Wai movie i gave it a 3 & extra 1 more score for the juicy Chang Chen's ass :)

Story:

Nick Fury, director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., arrives at a remote research facility during an evacuation. The tesseract, an energy source of unknown potential, has activated and opened a portal through space, from which the exiled Norse god Loki steps through. Loki takes the tesseract, and uses his abilities to control the minds of several S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel including agent Clint Barton, and physicist consultant Dr. Erik Selvig in order to aid in his getaway.

In response to the attack, Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative. Agent Natasha Romanoff  is sent to India to recruit Dr. Bruce Banner, while Agent Philip Coulson, approaches Tony Stark and requests that he review Selvig's research. Fury himself approaches Steve Rogers with an assignment to retrieve the tesseract from Loki. During his exile, Loki encountered the Other, an alien conqueror who in exchange for the Tesseract offers Loki an army of the alien race the Chitauri in order for him to subjugate Earth.

Rogers, Stark and Romanoff travel to Germany to apprehend Loki, who is recovering iridium needed to stabilize the Tesseract's power and demanding that the civilians kneel before him. After a battle with Captain America, Loki surrenders and is escorted back to a S.H.I.E.L.D. plane. However, Thor, Loki's adoptive brother and the Norse god of thunder, arrives and attempts to free Loki to reason with him. Stark and Rogers confront Thor, and Loki is eventually returned to the Helicarrier, a high-tech, flying aircraft carrier, and placed in a cell designed to hold The Hulk.

The Avengers are divided, both over how to approach Loki and the revelation that S.H.I.E.L.D. plan to harness the tesseract's power to develop weapons. Fury admits that the events in New Mexico a year before made S.H.I.E.L.D. aware of extraterrestrial life, some of whom may see Earth as a target. The decision was made to produce weapons with the tesseract as a means of deterrence. As the group argues, Barton and Loki’s other possessed agents attack the Helicarrier, disabling its engines in flight. As Stark and Rogers attempt to restart the damaged engines, Banner transforms into the Hulk, despite Romanoff's best efforts to calm him down, and runs amok inside the ship, fighting Thor. During a fight with Barton, Romanoff discovers that a blow to the head — powerful enough to knock Barton unconscious — is enough to break Loki's mind control. Loki escapes, killing Agent Coulson as he does so, and Thor and the Hulk are each ejected from the ship.

Fury uses Coulson's death to motivate the Avengers into working as a team. Stark and Rogers realize that simply defeating them will not be enough for Loki; he needs to overpower them in a very public way so as to validate himself as ruler of Earth. Using a device built by Selvig, Loki opens a portal to the Chitauri fleet over Manhattan, summoning a Chitauri invasion.

The Avengers rally in defense of New York, but quickly realize they will be overwhelmed as wave after wave of Chitauri descend upon Earth. With help from Barton, Rogers and Stark evacuate civilians, while Banner transforms into the Hulk again and goes after Loki, beating him into submission. Romanoff makes her way to the portal, where Selvig, freed of Loki's control, reveals that Loki's staff can be used to close the portal.

Meanwhile, Fury's superiors attempt to end the invasion by launching a nuclear missile at Manhattan. Stark intercepts the missile and takes it through the portal toward the Chitauri fleet before running out of power and plummeting back to Earth, but the Hulk catches him as he falls. Thor escorts Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard, while Fury notes that the Avengers will go their separate ways until such time as a new world-threatening menace emerges.

In a post-credits scene, the Other confers with his master about the attack on Earth.

I suppose to dislike this movie, i suppose not to watch this movie in cinema; but i love this movie and i watch it in cinema too :P At first when i saw the trailer, i thought that it was some rubbish film which they put all the superheroes together just for the sake of making a profitable movie, but this is good, real good... Beside having all those action scene about fighting with intruder from out of earth, there are some comedy scenes as well... Only thing i m dissapointed is, Mark Ruffalo look kinda old in this film... i still prefer Eric Bana as Hulk.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Story:

In 1891, Irene Adler delivers a package to Dr. Hoffmanstahl—payment for a letter he was to deliver. Hoffmanstahl opens the package, triggering a hidden bomb which is prevented from detonating by the intervention of Sherlock Holmes. Holmes takes the letter and disposes of the bomb while Adler and Hoffmanstahl escape. Holmes later finds Hoffmanstahl assassinated. Adler meets with Professor Moriarty to explain the events, but Moriarty poisons her with fast-acting tuberculosis—deeming her position compromised by her love for Holmes.

Some time later, Dr. Watson arrives at 221B Baker Street, where Holmes discloses that he is investigating a series of seemingly unrelated murders, terrorist attacks, and business acquisitions, that he has connected to Moriarty. Holmes meets with the gypsy Simza, the intended recipient of the letter he had taken from Adler, sent by her brother Rene. Holmes defeats an assassin sent to kill Simza, but she flees before Holmes can interrogate her. After Mary and Watson's wedding, Holmes meets Moriarty for the first time. Moriarty informs Holmes that he murdered Adler and will kill Watson and Mary if Holmes' interference continues.

Moriarty's men attack Watson and Mary on a train to their honeymoon. Holmes, having followed the pair for protection, throws Mary from the train into a river below where she is picked up by Holmes's waiting brother Mycroft. After defeating Moriarty's men, Holmes and Watson travel to Paris to locate Simza. When she is found, Holmes tells Simza that she has been targeted because Rene is working for Moriarty, and may have told her about his plans. Simza takes the pair to the headquarters of an anarchist group to which she and Rene had formerly belonged. They learn that the anarchists have been forced to plant bombs for Moriarty.

The trio follows Holmes's deduction that the bomb is in the Paris Opera. However, Holmes realizes too late that he has been tricked and that the bomb is in a nearby hotel; the bombing kills a number of assembled businessmen. Holmes discovers that the bomb was a cover for the assassination of Meinhart—one of the attendees—by Moriarty's aide, Sebastian Moran. Meinhart's death grants Moriarty ownership of Meinhart's weapons factory in Germany. Holmes, Watson, and Simza travel there, following clues in Rene's letters.

At the factory, Moriarty captures and tortures Holmes, while Watson enters a firefight with Moran. Moriarty reveals that he owns shares in multiple war-profiting companies, and intends to instigate a world war to make himself a fortune. Meanwhile, Watson uses a large cannon to destroy a lighthouse in which Moran is concealed. The structure collapses into the warehouse where Moriarty is holding Holmes captive. Watson, Simza, and an injured Holmes reunite, and escape aboard a moving train. Holmes deduces that Moriarty's final target will be a peace summit in Switzerland, creating an international incident.

At the summit, Holmes reveals that Rene is the assassin and that he is disguised as one of the ambassadors—having been given radical reconstructive surgery by Hoffmanstahl to alter his appearance. Watson and Simza search for signs of the assassin while Holmes and Moriarty-also in attendance-retreat outside to discuss their competing plans. Watson and Simza find Rene and stop his assassination attempt, but Rene is himself assassinated by Moran. Outside, Holmes confesses that he stole Moriarty's personal diary in Germany—the only record of his plans and finances—and replaced it with a duplicate. The original was sent to Mary in London who decrypted the code using a book that Holmes had noticed in Moriarty's office during their first meeting. Mary passes the information to Inspector Lestrade who seizes the bulk of Moriarty's assets, financially crippling him. Holmes and Moriarty anticipate an impending physical confrontation which both men realize Moriarty will win due to Holmes' injured shoulder. Holmes instead grapples Moriarty and forces them both over the balcony and into the Reichenbach waterfall below.

Their bodies are not found. Following Holmes' funeral, Watson and Mary prepare to have their belated honeymoon when Watson receives a package containing a breathing device of Mycroft's that Holmes had noticed before the summit. Realizing that Holmes is still alive, Watson leaves his office to find the delivery man. Holmes, having concealed himself in Watson's office, reads a fresh eulogy on Watson's typewriter and adds a question mark after the words "The End".

Same as the first movie 1 year ago, i fall asleep in the cinema on the beginning part :P The movie is so heavy to watch in the weekday after a day of tiring work. So i advice u guys better watch it when you're relax :)

I only start enjoy the movie when Jude Law has his wedding after the fight. Same as first movie, Robert Downey dress up like an ugly lady AGAIN!!! Why? Why they use the same idea again in the second movie? Nothing else to think of? Or An ugly-Robert-lady is attractive for the big screen? And this Noomi Rapace is so damn ugly, why? Can't they choose Penelope Cruz instead?

Story:

Russian television shows Stark Industries CEO Tony Stark revealing his identity as Iron Man to the world. Ivan Vanko, whose father, Anton Vanko, has just died, sees this and begins building a similar weapon.

Six months later, Stark has used his Iron Man armor to help maintain world peace. He re-institutes the Stark Expo in Flushing Meadows to continue his father Howard's legacy. Senator Stern demands that Stark turn over the Iron Man technology to the government. Stark refuses, claiming that foreign nations and business competitors are decades away from successfully recreating his achievements, and that the armor is in fact his own property.

The palladium core in the arc reactor that keeps Stark alive and powers the armor is slowly poisoning him, and he has failed to find a substitute. Growing increasingly despondent and reckless due to his impending death, and choosing not to tell anyone about his condition, Stark appoints his personal assistant Pepper Potts CEO of Stark Industries, and replaces her with Stark employee Natalie Rushman.

Vanko attacks Stark while racing at the Circuit de Monaco, using an arc reactor of his own powering whip-like energy weapons. Stark defeats Vanko with the aid of his portable briefcase armor. He learns that Vanko is the son of his father's old partner, Anton Vanko. Anton collaborated with Howard on the first arc reactor, but was deported to his native Soviet Union following his attempts to profit from the technology and died in poverty, explaining Vanko's desire for revenge on the Stark family. Rival defense contractor Justin Hammer fakes Vanko's death and recruits him to perfect a line of armored combat suits to upstage Stark. At what he believes is his last birthday party Stark gets drunk while using the Iron Man armor, forcing his friend, Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, to intervene. Rhodes dons Stark's Mark II armor and after battling him, delivers the armor to the military. Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D., approaches Stark, revealing Rushman as undercover agent Natasha Romanoff and that Howard Stark was a S.H.I.E.L.D. founder that Fury knew personally. Fury gives him some of his father's old material; a hidden message in the diorama of the 1974 Stark Expo proves to be a diagram of the structure of a new element. With the aid of his computer J.A.R.V.I.S., Stark synthesizes it. Vanko reveals to Stark that he is still alive and seeking revenge so Stark uses the untested element, removing his dependency on the palladium.

At the Expo, Hammer unveils Vanko's armored drones, led by Rhodes in a heavily weaponized version of the Mark II armor. Stark arrives in his new armor to warn Rhodes, but Vanko seizes control of both the drones and Rhodes' armor and attacks Iron Man. Hammer is arrested while Stark's bodyguard Happy Hogan and Romanoff attempt to capture Vanko. He escapes, but Romanoff returns control of the Mark II armor to Rhodes.

After defeating his drones Stark and Rhodes confront Vanko himself, now in a new, very powerful suit of armor. Neither can match Vanko, but Vanko is ultimately defeated when they fire repulsor rays at each other, causing a large explosion. With his suit too damaged to continue the fight Vanko ignites his suit and his drones' self-destruct mechanisms, apparently killing himself in the process. Stark saves Potts from the exploding drones' remains. Potts quits as CEO, but she and Stark kiss.

At a debriefing, while news footage of the Hulk's rampage plays, Fury informs Stark that while Iron Man is a suitable candidate for the "Avengers Initiative", he himself is not. Stark agrees to be a consultant if Senator Stern presents himself and Rhodes with medals for bravery. In a post-credits scene, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson reports the discovery of a large hammer at the bottom of a crater in a New Mexico desert.

I'm not really an Iron Man's fans, did not watch the first movie. However, since my friend lend me the DVD, i might as well watch it coz Paltrow is inside it :) The whole movie is not bad, the way Downey acted in those arrogant way is quite good.

Heard that Johansson is getting her own movie from this character, Black Widow. Hopefully its good~ Let's pray for her ;)

Sherlock Holmes

Story:

Sherlock Holmes is a famous detective with his partner Dr John Watson. They managed to solved a lot of cases and earn money for their living. In the latest case, they managed to arrest Henry Blackwood, a ritual killer.

John decided to move out with his fiancee, Sherlock get frustrated and always lock himself in the room. Three months later, when its about time for Blackwood to execute, he request to meet up with Sherlock. During their meet up, Blackwood told him that this is not the end yet, three more person will die. Irene Adler, a criminal who outsmart Holmes twice in the past, but Holmes still deeply in love with her. Irene told Sherlock that she has divorced and hope to have a new affair with him but Sherlock didn't give her an answer.

After Blackwood execution, John as the doctor has certified his death. But not long later, Blackwood's corpse is gone and everyone thought this is a black magic. As what have been mentioned by Blackwood, 2 more important people die in sequence. Before the death of the 3rd person, Sherlock managed to figure out this will be someone from the British Parliament. Sherlock let the police arrest him in purpose and bring him to meet the Home Secretary, Lord Coward. Apparently Coward belongs to the Blackwood gang for all this dirty tricks and reveal the whole things to Holmes. Holmes later broke off from the window and jump to the river where John and Watson are there in a boat.

The three of them went and dissolved Blackwood's trick, but Irene ran away with a cylinder which is very valuable. Blackwood run and fight with Sherlock and Irene on a construction bridge. In the end, Blackwood got hung on the bridge and die like what he supposed to in his execution. Later on Sherlock discovered that Irene is working for a guy name Proffesor Moriarty. He handcuffed Irene but left her the key.

Holmes later explained everything to John about how he discovered the tricks of Blackwood as a closing of this film.

Before i went for the movie i was so excited, but i'm a bit confused after the whole movie. I thought this detective movie will be as good as the preview, but ...i dont know... maybe i'm not good in watching guy ritchie's movie. :P
