 Story:

In the aftermath of Superman's death, intelligence officer Amanda Waller assembles Task Force X, a team of dangerous criminals imprisoned at Belle Reve Prison consisting of elite hitman Deadshot, former psychiatrist Harley Quinn, pyrokinetic ex-gangster El Diablo, opportunistic thief Captain Boomerang, genetic mutation Killer Croc, and specialized assassin Slipknot. They are placed under command of Colonel Rick Flag to be used as disposable assets in high-risk missions for the United States government. Each member has a nano bomb implanted in their neck, designed to detonate should any member rebel or try to escape.

One of Waller's intended recruits is Flag's girlfriend Dr. June Moone, an archaeologist possessed by a witch-goddess known as the "Enchantress". Enchantress quickly turns on Waller, deciding to eradicate humankind with a mystical weapon for imprisoning her. She besieges Midway City by transforming its populace into a horde of monsters, and summons her brother to assist her. Waller then deploys the squad to extract a high-profile mark from Midway, which is reported to be under a terrorist attack.

Harley's homicidal lover, the Joker, finds out about her predicament and tortures Belle Reve Security Officer Griggs into leading him to the facility where the nano bombs are made. There, he blackmails one of the program's scientists into disabling Harley's bomb. On approach, the squad's helicopter is shot down, forcing them to proceed on foot to their target. Boomerang inaccurately convinces Slipknot that the bombs are a ruse to keep them in check; Slipknot attempts to escape and Flag kills him via his nano bomb, while the squad is attacked by Enchantress' minions. They eventually manage to fight their way through to a safe room, where they learn that their mark is Waller herself, who is attempting to cover up her involvement in Enchantress' siege.

The squad escorts Waller to a rooftop for extraction, but the arriving helicopter has been hijacked by the Joker and his men, who open fire on the squad while Harley climbs aboard. However, Waller's men shoot down the helicopter, and Harley falls out while the Joker is presumed dead, after which Harley rejoins the squad. Alerted to Waller's whereabouts, Enchantress' minions arrive and kidnap her. Deadshot finds Waller's confidential files and learns the truth about Enchantress. Flag is then forced to confess the truth, causing the squad members to abandon him. With Waller compromised, Flag relieves the squad of the mission, but chooses to continue. Realizing they have an opportunity to prove themselves, they soon rejoin him and locate Enchantress at a partially-flooded subway station. Killer Croc and a group of Navy SEALs, led by Lieutenant GQ Edwards, go underwater to plant a bomb underneath her brother. El Diablo embraces his abilities and manages to distract Incubus long enough for the bomb to detonate underneath, killing them both as well as Edwards.

The remaining squad members battle Enchantress together, but are ultimately defeated. Enchantress offers to fulfill their deepest desires in exchange for their allegiance, and Harley feigns interest in order to get close enough to cut out Enchantress's heart. Killer Croc then throws explosives into Enchantress' weapon and Deadshot shoots them, destroying the device. Flag takes Enchantress's heart and crushes it, finally freeing June from the curse. Waller, still alive, emerges, and the squad members are returned to Belle Reve with ten years off their sentences. All but Captain Boomerang are allowed special privileges. The Joker, alive and unscathed, breaks into the penitentiary and rescues Harley. In a mid-credits scene, Waller meets with Bruce Wayne, who agrees to protect her from the backlash of Enchantress's rampage in exchange for access to the government's files on the expanding metahuman community.

After watching a superhero film, its time to "balance" myself with some nasty villain movie. I thought this will be a supercool movie but in the end i don't really into it at all, and some part is kinda boring as hell. Casting wise, yes the movie did manage to found Will Smith and Jared Leto which i'm quite surprise, however i really not familiar with these characters at all, except The Joker. And how come there's no catwoman?!? DC is always on the lose side comparing to Marvel, sorry to say so...

 Story:

On July 2, 1996, an enormous alien mothership that has one fourth the mass of the Moon enters orbit around Earth, deploying 36 smaller spacecraft, each 15 miles (24 km) wide, that take positions over some of Earth's major cities and military bases. David Levinson, an MIT-trained satellite technician, decodes a signal embedded in the global satellite transmissions that he determines is a timer counting down to a coordinated attack. With the help of his former wife, White House Communications Director Constance Spano, Levinson, and his father Julius, gain access to the Oval Office and warn President Thomas J. Whitmore that the aliens are hostile. Whitmore orders large-scale evacuations of New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C., but it is too late; the timer reaches zero and the ships activate devastating directed-energy weapons, killing millions. Whitmore, the Levinsons, and a few others, narrowly escape aboard Air Force One as the capital is destroyed, along with other locations over which the ships are positioned.

On July 3, international military leaders begin ordering individual counterattacks. Their aviation forces attack destroyer ships positioned above the ruins of the cities, but they are protected by force fields. Each destroyer launches a swarm of attack fighters, which wipe out the human fighter squadrons. Captain Steven Hiller of the Los Angeles USMC squadron survives by luring his attacker to the enclosed spaces of the Grand Canyon and sacrificing his plane, forcing the alien to crash-land. He subdues the injured alien pilot and flags down a convoy of refugees, hitching a ride with former combat pilot Russell Casse. They transport the unconscious alien to nearby Area 51 where Whitmore's group has landed. Through Secretary of Defense Albert Nimzicki, they learn that a faction of the government has been involved in a UFO conspiracy since 1947, when one of the invaders' attack fighters crashed in Roswell. Area 51 houses the refurbished attacker ship and three alien corpses recovered from the crash.

When eccentric scientist Brackish Okun examines the alien, it regains consciousness and attacks. It telepathically invades Okun's mind and uses his vocal cords to communicate with Whitmore before launching a psychic attack against him. Whitmore begins seeing visions of the aliens collecting resources by moving from planet to planet and exterminating all life. After Secret Service agents and military personnel kill the alien, he reluctantly authorizes a nuclear attack; a B-2 Spirit fires a nuclear cruise missile at a destroyer positioned above Houston, but the ship remains intact.

On July 4, Levinson demonstrates that the key to defeating the aliens is deactivating their force fields, and devises a way to do it by uploading a computer virus into the mothership. He proposes using the refurbished attack ship to gain entry which Hiller volunteers to pilot. The two are able to implant the virus and deploy a nuclear weapon on board. With military pilots in short supply, Whitmore enlists the help of volunteers with flight experience including Casse and leads an attack on a destroyer ship bearing down on Area 51. Although the fighters are able to inflict damage, their supply of missiles is quickly exhausted. As the destroyer prepares to fire on the base, the last missile jams and Casse decides to sacrifice his own life. He flies his plane kamikaze-style into the directed-energy weapon port, which results in an explosion that destroys the ship. Human resistance forces around the world successfully destroy the other craft using this vulnerability. As humankind is rejoicing in victory, Hiller and Levinson have returned to Area 51 unharmed and reunite with their families. They and military officers nearby accompany Whitmore and his daughter in watching the wreckage from the mothership burn up, resembling a fireworks display as it enters Earth's atmosphere.

I didn't watch this movie 20 years ago and honestly, i didn't even notice about this movie at all... Until recently the second movie is out, i stopped myself from going to the cinema to watch this movie because everyone say the 2 movies are some sort link to each other... Well, after few months only i manage to find this movie. Overall the storyline is ok but not too excited really...

I Am Legend

Story:

Year of 2012, Robert Neville is the last man on New York City. 3 years ago, a measles virus war has cause the whole world to be infect and a lot of the human beings has become "darkseekers" the monster who fed on those human with immune.

Robert is left with his dog, Sam. Both of them travel in New York city and look for food. But one day, Sam went into a dark area while chasing a deer. Darkseekers usually hide in the dark area which no sunlight can shine in. Robert went for rescue and discovered there's a lot of darkseekers resting inside. Robert set a trap and managed to caughta female darkseeker for his experience. But this piss off one of the lead male darkseeker.

One day while hunting for their food, Robert was shock to see one of the manikin was moved in front of a building. He went to find out but it was a trap and he hot hit unconscious while hang on the air. He only managed to wake up when the sky is about to get dark. He quickly cut off the rope which tied him up but was injured on his leg. He needed to crawl back to his car before the darkhound attack him. Too bad, the darkhound attack but Robert was defended by Sam and Sam was badly bitten.

Robert forced to kill Sam when Sam slowly transform into the darkhound. But he found out that his experience on saving the female darkseeker is getting a good result. But his sadness overcome the excitement. He drive at the night and ran over the darkseekers with car but he was attacked as well. Luckily Anna appeared with her son Ethan and rescue Robert.

Anna was from another part of America and came to Robert after she heard her radio call. Anna and Ethan is going to the survival camp at Vermont. They invited Robert to go along but he rejected. On that particular night, darkseekers came and attack Robert's house. It seems like the darkseekers follow them when Anna send him home that night. Three of them went to the basement experiment room and trapped in the glassroom. They saw the female darkseeker is healing. Robert offered to help others darkseekers but they refuse and still insist to attack.

Robert send Anna and Ethan in an old coal chute while passing her the blood sample of the female darkseeker who is recovering. Robert sacrifice himself and bomb the whole house. Anna and Ethan finally get to Vermont and send the successful sample for others. Their legacy, Robert's legend.

Kinda love this film when i was watching it in the cinema 3 years ago. Very impress by Will Smith's acting in this film. He brought out the loneliness and sadness of this character. And the part when he killed Sam, his expression is well done, bravo!!!

Well, i would say the story is simple yet meaningful. Not too length but just nice. A good movie i should say~
