Australia

 Released Year: 2008
Directed by Baz Luhrmann

Casted by:
Nicole Kidman as Lady Sarah Ashley
Hugh Jackman as Drover
Brandon Walters as Nullah
David Wenham as Neil Fletcher
Bryan Brown as Lesley 'King' Carney
Jack Thompson as Kipling Flynn
David Gulpilil as King George
 Story:
In 1939, Lady Sarah Ashley travels from England to northern Australia to force her philandering husband to sell his faltering cattle station, Faraway Downs. Her husband sends an independent cattle drover, called "Drover", to transport her to Faraway Downs.

Lady Sarah's husband is murdered shortly before she arrives, and the authorities tell her that the killer is an Aboriginal elder, "King George". Meanwhile, cattle station manager Neil Fletcher is trying to gain control of Faraway Downs, so that Lesley 'King' Carney will have a complete cattle monopoly, giving him negotiating leverage with an Australian army officer, Captain Dutton, who wants to buy the cattle.

The childless Lady Sarah is captivated by the boy Nullah, who has an Aboriginal mother and a white father. Nullah tells her that he has seen her cattle being driven onto Carney's land — in other words, stolen from her. Because of this Fletcher mistreats Nullah and threatens him and his mother, so Lady Sarah fires Fletcher and decides to try to run the cattle station herself. When Nullah and his mother hide from the authorities in a water tower, his mother drowns. Lady Sarah comforts Nullah by singing the song "Over the Rainbow" from the film The Wizard of Oz. Nullah tells her that "King George" is his grandfather, and that like the Wizard, he too is a "magic man".

Lady Sarah persuades Drover to take the cattle to Darwin for sale. Drover is friendly with the Aborigines, and therefore shunned by many of the other whites in the territory. It is revealed that he was married to an Aboriginal woman, who died after being refused medical treatment in a hospital because of her race. Lady Sarah also reveals she is unable to have children.

Drover leads a team of six other riders, including Lady Sarah, Drover's Aboriginal brother-in-law Magarri, Nullah, and the station's accountant Kipling Flynn, to drive the 1,500 cattle to Darwin. They encounter various obstacles along the way, including a fire set by Carney's men that scares the cattle, resulting in the death of Flynn when the group tries to stop the cattle from stampeding over a cliff. Lady Sarah and Drover fall in love, and she gains a new appreciation for the Australian territory. The team drive the cattle through the dangerous Never Never desert. Then, when at last delivering the cattle in Darwin, the group has to race them onto the ship before Carney's cattle are loaded.

Afterwards, Lady Sarah, Nullah, and Drover live together happily at Faraway Downs for two years. Meanwhile, Fletcher kills Carney, marries his daughter Cath Carney, takes over Carney's cattle empire, and continues to menace Lady Sarah. It is established that Fletcher was the actual murderer of Lady Sarah's husband, and is also Nullah's father.

Nullah is drawn to go on a walkabout (a rite of passage) with his grandfather "King George", but is instead taken by the authorities and sent to live on Mission Island (a fictitious island, but inspired by Bathurst Island) with the other half-Aboriginal children (dubbed the "Stolen Generations"). Lady Sarah, who has come to regard Nullah as her adopted son, vows to rescue him. Meanwhile, she works as a radio operator in Darwin during the escalation of World War II. When the Japanese attack the island and Darwin in 1942, Lady Sarah fears that Nullah has been killed.

Drover, who had quarrelled with Lady Sarah and left, returns to Darwin and hears (mistakenly) that she has been killed in the bombing. Drover learns of Nullah's abduction to Mission Island, and goes with Magarri and a young priest to rescue him and the other children. Meanwhile, Lady Sarah is about to be evacuated, but when Drover and the children sail back into port at Darwin, and Nullah plays "Over the Rainbow" on his harmonica, Lady Sarah hears the music and the three are reunited.

Fletcher, distraught at the ruination of his plans and at the death of his wife killed during a Japanese air strike, attempts to shoot Nullah, but is speared by King George and falls dead. Lady Sarah, Drover, and Nullah return to the safety of remote Faraway Downs. There, King George calls for Nullah, who returns to the Outback with his grandfather.

Van Helsing

Released Year: 2004
Directed by Stephen Sommers

Casted by:
Hugh Jackman as Gabriel Van Helsing
Kate Beckinsale as Anna Valerious
Richard Roxburgh as Count Vladislaus Dracula
David Wenham as Carl
Kevin J. O'Connor as Igor
Will Kemp as Velkan Valerious
Silvia Colloca as Verona
Josie Maran as Marishka
Elena Anaya as Aleera
Story:
In 1887 Transylvania, Doctor Victor Frankenstein creates a monster with the anticipated aid of Count Dracula, who reveals that he plans to use the creature for his own evil plans and kills the doctor as his castle is raided by a mob of villagers. His assistant Igor escapes, but the villagers chase the monster to an old windmill and set it ablaze. The villagers are scared off by Dracula and his brides, who witness the monster and the doctor's research apparently destroyed by the fire.

One year later, after killing the elusive Mr. Hyde at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, monster hunter Van Helsing returns to the Vatican in Rome. He learns his mission to destroy Dracula and his amnesia are penance for past, unremembered sins that cause nightmares. He is tasked with helping the last of bloodline, Velkan Valerious and his sister Anna, who must kill Dracula before their ancestors may enter Heaven. Carl, a friar provides Van Helsing with aid and weapons. Meanwhile, in Transylvania, Velkan is apparently killed during an attempt to trap and kill a werewolf, and Anna is attacked by Dracula's brides shortly after Van Helsing's arrival. He saves her life and kills Marishka, one of the brides, but as the last of her line Anna becomes more determined to kill Dracula. In order to protect her, Van Helsing knocks her out to prevent her from leaving. Later that night, she awakens and encounters Velkan, who reveals Dracula has a dark secret, but to her horror, he becomes a werewolf and attacks. After she and Van Helsing track him to Frankenstein's castle, they discover that the vampires are attempting to give life to their born-dead children, using Velkan as the source of the power. Van Helsing, dubbed "Gabriel" by Dracula, realizes they had ties in the past. Van Helsing refuses Dracula's offer to return his memory and escapes. The experiment fails however, and the vampire children die, but Velkan turns on Anna as he becomes completely consumed by his curse. The pair then escape together.

Under the remains of the old windmill, Van Helsing and Anna encounter the monster. Because he is not evil, Van Helsing cannot allow it to be killed, even though he claims to be the key to the failed experiment. The werewolf witnesses this and escapes to inform Dracula. Meanwhile, Carl discovers a painting that comes to life, depicting a werewolf and a vampire battling. They travel by carriage to Budapest, successfully luring the remaining brides into a trap and killing Verona. Velkan ambushes the real carriage and bites Van Helsing before being shot and killed. Anna is captured and held as a bargaining chip to exchange her for the monster. They hide the monster in a crypt, but he is taken by the count's undead underlings while Van Helsing and Carl rescue Anna from the count's trap. Returning to the Valerious' castle, Carl discovers an inscription, part of which Van Helsing received in Rome and creates a doorway to the castle. After failing to free the monster from his imprisonment, he lets them know of a cure to lycanthropy that Dracula possesses. Carl determines that the bite of a werewolf is the only way to kill Dracula. He and Anna take Igor to find the cure while Van Helsing goes to free the monster. Igor escapes while the final bride, Aleera, assaults Anna as Carl tries to deliver the cure to Van Helsing. After escaping, the monster saves Anna and urges her to help Carl and Van Helsing. She kills Aleera and arrives at the castle. Meanwhile, the werewolf Van Helsing and Dracula battle. Dracula tries to reason with the werewolf, but Van Helsing bites Dracula, who dissolves into a skeleton. Anna bursts in and is attacked and killed by Van Helsing, but not before she delivers the cure. Van Helsing returns to normal, stricken with grief over what he has done.

At a pyre funeral, Van Helsing witnesses the spirits of Anna and her family ascending into the clouds while Frankenstein's monster rows away on a raft out to sea. Van Helsing and Carl ride off into the sunset.

Finally its time for me to re-watch this movie after so many years. I don't quite remember this movie which I have watch in cinema many years ago, seems like a lot of the scenes were censored off in my country. My favorite part of coz is the scene which vampire battle against the warewolf... I think its the peak of this movie, but too bad Beckinsale was killed at the end of the movie by the one she loved... so sad...

In 1983, Sabah Nur is awakened when Moira MacTaggert discovers a cult worshipping him. Sabah Nur finds mutant pickpocket Ororo Munroe, who can manipulate weather, and kills the men chasing her. Munroe then takes Sabah Nur to her home where he learns everything that is going on in the world through a television, and believes that humanity has lost its way without his leadership and decides to remake it. Sabah Nur then upgrades Munroe and recruits her as a Horseman

In Berlin, mutant Raven Darkhölme discovers mutant champion Angel and Nightcrawler at an underground fight club. Nightcrawler damages Angel's wing and Raven breaks them both free, but Angel escapes on his own, while Raven rescues Nightcrawler. Raven employs the services of underground black marketeer Caliban to safely transport Nightcrawler to Professor Charles Xavier's educational institute in Westchester County, New York. There Alex Summers brings his younger brother Scott Summers whose power has been manifesting. Scott meets Xavier's protégé Jean Grey who is afraid of her telepathic and telekinetic abilities. Elsewhere, Sabah Nur locates Caliban, where Caliban's enforcer Psylocke, after getting a demonstration from Sabah Nur the power she can have, sides with him and leads him to Angel, who has turned to booze, and Sabah Nur replaces Angel's damaged wings with metal ones and recruits him as his third Horseman.

Meanwhile, Erik Lehnsherr is living a happy life with his new wife and their daughter, Nina, in Poland. When authorities attempt to capture him for the incident at the White House, Nina's mutation triggers and she summons birds to attack the authorities, but one of the officers gets distracted and releases an arrow that pierces Erik's wife and Nina and they are killed instantly, to which an enraged Lehnserr kills all the authorities with the coin he used to kill Sebastian Shaw. Sabah Nur meets with the heartbroken Erik, now going by the name Magneto, at the factory where Erik works. Sabah Nur kills all the other workers and takes him to Auschwitz, where he guides Magneto to understand the full potential of his power, allowing Magneto to control all the metal in the Earth. Magneto destroys the camp and joins Sabah Nur as the fourth and final Horseman.

Sabah Nur hacks into Xavier's mind while he is using the mutant-locating computer Cerebro and co-opts his powers to force all global superpowers to launch Earth's entire nuclear arsenal into space to prevent interference. Alex destroys Cerebro in order to set Xavier free, but Sabah Nur and his Horsemen arrive in the mansion and kidnap Xavier. Attempting to stop them, Alex accidentally causes an explosion that destroys the mansion. Peter Maximoff – having learned that he is Erik's son, and hoping that Xavier can help to find him – arrives in time to use his super-speed to evacuate the mansion, but Alex is presumed to be vaporized as he was closest to the blast. William Stryker's forces arrive and subsequently arrest Hank, Raven, Peter, and Moira, under the pretense that they were involved in Sabah Nur's attack in order to experiment on them, and takes them to the Weapon X facility for interrogation. Scott, Kurt and Jean covertly follow and Jean releases Stryker's brainwashed experiment Logan / Weapon X, who slaughters Stryker's soldiers, and before escaping, Jean restores his mind, but at the cost of amnesia. The three then release the others and steal one of Stryker's jets. On the way to face Sabah Nur, Mystique reveals that she and Hank are the only remaining members of the original X-Men team that are still alive, and that she isn't a hero because she couldn't save the rest of the X-Men.

In Egypt Sabah Nur resurrects his temple, destroying several city blocks in the process. He intends to transfer his consciousness into Xavier's body. At Sabah Nur's behest, Magneto uses his powers to control Earth's magnetic poles, causing widespread destruction across the planet and mass casualties. Following a telepathic distress call secretly sent by Xavier to Jean, the others arrive in Cairo, where Kurt teleports inside the temple and rescues Xavier right before Sabah Nur's consciousness can be transferred into Xavier's body, but Xavier loses his hair in the transfer process. Angel and Psylocke find them, but Jean sabotages the plane and Kurt teleports his friends away to safety. Angel is killed in the ensuing crash and Psylocke is knocked out when she hits the ground. Kurt passes out after teleporting his friends due to too much energy consumption. Sabah Nur comes across Angel's dead body and angrily calls him "useless", following which Ororo decides to switch sides after seeing his disregard for his followers.

Magneto is convinced to turn on Sabah Nur after spotting his true nature through a brutal attack on Maximoff in which Sabah Nur traps and breaks Maximoff's leg and Sabah Nur nearly chokes Mystique to death. Xavier manages to save Mystique by engaging Sabah Nur in the Astral plane, and soon is injured after initially gaining the upper hand. Scott and Magneto keep Sabah Nur busy while Hank rescues Peter and Mystique. Jean ventures into the Astral Plane, where a weakened Xavier encourages Jean to unleash the full might of her powers against him. Letting go, Jean taps into the Phoenix and destroys Sabah Nur's astral form and with the help of Scott, Ororo and Magneto, Jean begins to destroy Sabah Nur, with an amazed Sabah Nur's last words being "all is revealed", and he is incinerated by The Phoenix.

In the aftermath, Xavier restores Moira's memories, Peter decides not to tell Erik that he is his son, feeling that it is not the right time, and Jean and Erik use their powers to rebuild the school. Erik rekindles his friendship with Xavier, but turns down Xavier's offer to stay. Mystique leads a team consisting of Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Storm, Nightcrawler, Quicksilver, and after Mystique delivers a short speech to the team, the new X-Men begin training for the battles ahead by having a Danger Room session against the Sentinels with Xavier watching on as the doors to the Danger Room close.

In a post-credits scene, the abandoned Weapon X facility is infiltrated by a paramilitary team that begins retrieving data on Stryker's mutant research, including an x-ray and a blood sample marked "Weapon X", on behalf of Essex Corporation.

I have been so excited ever since I watched this trailer back in few months time & it finally reach the cinema. This time my love one is back at his hometown, so I went to watch this with a friend who is also a hardcore die hard X-Men's fans. :)

The whole movie is awesome, exciting & lots of flashback to talks about how individual mutant's life. McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, Hoult, Byrne & Till reprise their previous characters while Jackman occurred as cameo for Wolverine. Well, there's some critics from me though.... Young Jean is bit chubby, Nightcrawler is too skinny, Quicksilver seems old... Overall i still can accept with all these as the film is damn good.

 Story
In the future, robots known as Sentinels are exterminating mutants and their human allies. A band of mutants evades the Sentinels with the help of Kitty Pryde, who has the ability to send a person's consciousness into the past. Pryde's group convenes with Logan, Storm, Professor Charles Xavier, and Erik Lehnsherr at a monastery in China. Pryde sends Logan's consciousness 50 years back in time to 1973 to prevent Mystique from assassinating Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels. Following the assassination, Mystique was captured, and her DNA was used by Trask's company to improve the Sentinels, whose ability to adapt to any mutant power makes them almost invincible. Xavier and Lehnsherr advise Logan to find both of their younger selves for help.

At the X-Mansion in 1973, Logan encounters Xavier and Hank McCoy. Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters has closed after most of the teachers and students were drafted to the Vietnam War. Xavier, a broken man, has been overusing a serum that allows him to walk but suppresses his telepathy. Logan explains his mission and persuades Xavier to help free Lehnsherr from a prison cell beneath the Pentagon, where he is being held for allegedly assassinating President John F. Kennedy. They rescue Lehnsherr with the help of Peter Maximoff, a mutant with super speed.

In Washington D.C., Trask unsuccessfully tries to sway Congress to gain support for his Sentinel program. Meanwhile, in Saigon, Mystique prevents William Stryker from appropriating a group of mutant G.I.s for Trask's research. Mystique investigates Trask's office and discovers he has been capturing mutants to use for his experiments. Xavier, Lehnsherr, McCoy, and Logan fly to Paris to intercept Mystique, who is impersonating a North Vietnamese general to infiltrate the Paris Peace Accords. There, Trask attempts to sell his Sentinel technology to Communist nations. Xavier's group arrives as Mystique is about to kill Trask. Lehnsherr tries to kill Mystique to ensure her DNA cannot be used for the Sentinels, but she jumps from a window. The fight spills onto the street in view of the public, allowing Lensherr and Mystique to escape.

Trask is saved, but the world is horrified by the existence of mutants. President Richard Nixon approves Trask's Sentinel program and arranges an unveiling ceremony. Trask's scientists recover Mystique's blood from the street. Meanwhile, Lehnsherr—who has recovered his telepathy-blocking helmet—intercepts the prototype Sentinels in transit and laces their polymer-based frames with steel, allowing him to control them. At the mansion, Xavier stops taking his serum and slowly regains his mental powers, while losing the ability to walk. Through Logan, Xavier speaks to his future self and is inspired to work for peace between humans and mutants once again. He uses Cerebro to track Mystique, who is heading to Washington D.C.

As Xavier, Logan, and McCoy search for Mystique, Nixon unveils the Sentinel prototypes at the White House. Lensherr commandeers the Sentinels and attacks the crowd, then sets the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium around the White House as a barricade. Nixon and Trask, accompanied by the Cabinet, Secret Service officers, and Mystique (disguised as a Secret Service member), are taken to a safe room. Logan and McCoy try to stop Lehnsherr, but he pits a Sentinel against them and then throws Logan into the Potomac River. In the future, the X-Men make their final stand as a large army of Sentinels attack the monastery. In 1973, Lehnsherr pulls the safe room from the White House and prepares to kill Nixon and his Cabinet. Mystique, who is disguised as Nixon, incapacitates Lehnsherr with a plastic gun. Xavier persuades Mystique to spare Trask and allows her and Lehnsherr to flee. Mystique's actions are seen as a mutant saving the President, leading to the cancellation of the Sentinel program. Trask is arrested for trying to sell American military secrets.

Logan wakes up in the future to find Bobby Drake, Rogue, Peter Rasputin, Kitty, McCoy, Storm, Jean Grey, Scott Summers, and Xavier are all alive. In 1973, Mystique, impersonating Stryker, takes custody of Logan.

In a post-credits scene, a crowd chants to En Sabah Nur, who is using telekinesis to build pyramids as four horsemen watch from nearby.

Oh no~ i just realized that i did not watch this movie in the cinema last year, what's wrong with me?

Anyway, the storyline follow according to the comic of x-men in 1981~ i find that the writer is really brilliant and can think of such story... Due to this movie, i get to know x-men better, especially with Kitty Pryde's superpower. I always thought she can only walk through the wall, but never realize she can walk through time as well. This round, poor Storm's character has become much more useless compare to others; and i also wonder whether Fan Bing Bing will continue to come out in  other x-men series or not...

Hiroyuki Sanada as Shingen Yashida

Haruhiko Yamanouchi as Yashida

 Story
In 1945, Logan is held in a Japanese POW camp near Nagasaki. During the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, Logan rescues an officer named Ichirō Yashida and shields him from the blast.

In the present day, Logan lives as a hermit in Yukon, tormented by hallucinations of Jean Grey, whom he was forced to kill a year ago. He is located by Yukio, a mutant with the precognitive ability to foresee people's deaths, on-behalf of Yashida, now the CEO of a technology zaibatsu. Yashida, who is dying of cancer, wants Logan to accompany Yukio to Japan so that he may repay his life debt.

In Tokyo, Logan meets Yashida's son, Shingen, and granddaughter, Mariko. There, Yashida offers to transfer Logan's healing abilities into his own body, thus saving Yashida's life and alleviating Logan of his immortality, which Logan views as a curse. Logan refuses and prepares to leave the following day. That night, Yashida's physician Dr. Green (also known as Viper) introduces something into Logan's body, but Logan dismisses it as a dream.

The next morning, Logan is informed that Yashida has died. At the funeral, Yakuza gangsters attempt to kidnap Mariko, but Logan and Mariko escape together into the urban sprawl of Tokyo. Logan is shot and his wounds do not heal as quickly as they should. After fighting off more Yakuza on a bullet train, Logan and Mariko hide in a local love hotel. Meanwhile, Yashida's bodyguard Harada meets with Dr. Green who, after demonstrating her mutant powers on him, demands he find Logan and Mariko.

Logan and Mariko travel to Yashida's house in Nagasaki, and the two slowly fall for each other. Meanwhile, Yukio has a vision of Logan dying, and goes to warn him. Before Yukio arrives, Mariko is captured by Yakuza. After interrogating one of the kidnappers, Logan and Yukio confront Mariko's fiance, corrupt Minister of Justice Noburo Mori. Mori confesses that he conspired with Shingen to have Mariko killed because Yashida left control of the company to Mariko, and not Shingen.

Mariko is brought before Shingen at Yashida's estate when ninjas led by Harada attack and whisk her away. Logan and Yukio arrive later and, using Yashida's X-ray machine, discover a robotic parasite attached to Logan's heart, suppressing his healing ability. Logan cuts himself open and extracts the device. During the operation, Shingen attacks but Yukio holds Shingen off long enough for Logan to recover and kill Shingen.

Logan follows Mariko's trail to the village of Yashida's birth, where he is captured by Harada's ninjas. Logan is placed in a machine by Dr. Green, who reveals her plans to extract his healing factor and introduces him to the Silver Samurai, an electromechanical suit of Japanese armour with energized swords made of adamantium. Mariko escapes from Harada, who believes he is acting in Mariko's interests, and manages to free Logan from the machine. Harada sees the error of his ways and is killed by the Silver Samurai while helping Logan escape.

Meanwhile, Yukio arrives and kills Dr. Green as Logan fights the Silver Samurai. The Silver Samurai severs Logan's adamantium claws and begins to extract Logan's healing abilities, revealing himself to be Yashida, who had faked his death. Yashida starts to regain his youth, but Mariko intervenes and stabs Yashida with Logan's severed claws while Logan regenerates his bone claws and kills Yashida. Logan collapses and has one final hallucination of Jean, in which he decides to finally let go of her.

Mariko becomes CEO of Yashida Industries and bids farewell to Logan as he prepares to leave Japan. Yukio vows to stay by Logan's side as his bodyguard, and they depart to places unknown.

In a mid-credits scene, Logan returns to the United States two years later and is approached at the airport by Magneto, who warns him of a grave new threat to the mutant race and Professor X, who Logan previously thought was dead.

Ummm... not really a big fans of this movie, the storyline is still ok... but its a bit bored for me. I know this movie is following the story of wolverine but this mutant rival, viper is kinda sucks issit? Not only she can't fight, she appear less that i almost forgot about her throughout the movie. Tao Okatomo is beautiful but Rila Fukushima's character seems like more attractive comparing to hers.

 Story
Twenty years ago, Professor Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr meet young Jean Grey at her parents' house to invite her to join their school. Ten years later, the industrialist father of Warren Worthington III discovers his son is a mutant as Warren tries to cut off his wings.

In the present, Worthington Labs announces it has developed an inoculation to suppress the X-gene that gives mutants their abilities, and offer the "cure" to any mutant who wants it. The cure is created from the genome of a young mutant named Jimmy, who lives at the Worthington facility on Alcatraz Island. While some mutants are interested in the cure, including the X-Men's Rogue, many others are horrified by the announcement. In response to the news, Lehnsherr, now known as the X-Men's adversary Magneto, reestablishes his Brotherhood of Mutants with mutants who oppose the cure, warning his followers that the cure will be forcefully used to exterminate the mutant race.

With help from Mystique and Pyro, Magneto recruits Callisto, Juggernaut, and Multiple Man. Mystique takes a shot of the mutant cure, which was aimed at Magneto, leading him to abandon her. Meanwhile, Cyclops, still distraught over the loss of his fiancée Jean Grey, drives to her resting location at Alkali Lake. Jean appears to Cyclops but, as the two kiss, Jean starts disintegrating her lover. Sensing trouble, Xavier sends Wolverine and Storm to investigate. When they arrive, the two X-Men find telekinetically floating rocks, Cyclops' glasses, and an unconscious Jean. Cyclops himself is nowhere to be found.

When they return to the X-Mansion, Xavier explains to Wolverine that when Jean sacrificed herself, she unleashed a powerful alternate personality called the "Phoenix", which Xavier had telepathically repressed, fearing the Phoenix's destructive potential. Wolverine is disgusted to learn of this psychic tampering with Jean's mind but, once she awakens, Wolverine realizes she killed Cyclops and is not the Jean Grey he once knew. The Phoenix awakens, knocks out Wolverine, and escapes to her childhood home.

Magneto learns of Jean's resurrection through Callisto, and the X-Men arrive at the Grey home at the same time as the Brotherhood. Magneto and Xavier vie for Jean's loyalty until the Phoenix resurfaces. She destroys the house and disintegrates Xavier before leaving with Magneto. The Brotherhood decides to strike Worthington Labs, and Magneto uses his powers to move the Golden Gate Bridge so he can connect Alcatraz to the San Francisco mainland and facilitate the attack. The X-Men confront the Brotherhood, despite being significantly outnumbered, and arrive just as the military troops, who thus far had been neutralizing the attacking mutants, are overwhelmed by the Brotherhood.

During the fight, Kitty Pryde saves Jimmy from the Juggernaut, and Beast injects Magneto with the cure, nullifying his powers. Army reinforcements arrive and attack Jean, awakening the Phoenix, who uses her powers to disintegrate the troops. As the Phoenix begins to destroy the facilities and mutants at Alcatraz, Wolverine realizes that, due to his healing factor, only he can approach the Phoenix. Wolverine approaches her, and Jean momentarily gains control, begging him to save her. Wolverine fatally stabs Jean, stopping the devastating force, but mourns her death.

Sometime later, Xavier's school is still operating with Storm as headmistress, and the President of the United States appoints Beast as ambassador to the United Nations. Rogue reveals to Bobby Drake that she has taken the cure, while Magneto sits alone at a chessboard in a San Francisco park. As he gestures toward a metal chess piece, it wobbles slightly, revealing that the cure is temporary.

In a post-credits scene, Dr. Moira MacTaggert checks on a comatose patient who greets her with Xavier's voice, leaving her startled.

The finale of X-men? No definitely, this movie is not the one I love because it spoils my x-men fantasy... There's no "cure" ever happened in the comic series; mystique never become homo sapiens; Cyclops would never die and so so so .... Gosh~ y can't they continue to film more of x-men series of film? Y do they need to make an end of it?

Xavier discovers that a covert government operative, William Stryker, has been extracting information from a brainwashed Magneto. Stryker and his assistant Yuriko Oyama capture Cyclops and Xavier and raid Xavier's school. Wolverine kills many of Stryker's men, while Colossus, Rogue, Iceman, Pyro, and most of the students escape through hidden tunnels. Wolverine confronts Stryker, who fails to shed any light on Wolverine's past. Iceman helps Wolverine escape, but Stryker's soldiers succeed in sedating six students and breaking into Cerebro.

Impersonating Senator Robert Kelly and Yuriko, the shape-shifting Mystique gains information about Magneto's prison and helps him escape. She also learns of plans for another Cerebro. Wolverine, Rogue, Iceman, and Pyro visit Iceman's parents in Boston. Responding to a 9-1-1 call from Bobby's brother Ronny, the Boston Police Department arrives just as the group is leaving. Pyro uses his fire-projection power to fend off the police, and Rogue stops him when he starts attacking savagely.

The X-Jet arrives to pick them up, and is targeted by two Air Force fighter jets. Hit by a missile, it does not crash due to the sudden intervention of Magneto. The X-Men reluctantly team up with Magneto and Mystique to stop Stryker. At their camp, Magneto learns that Stryker orchestrated the attack on the president to provide rationale to raid Xavier's school and use an injectable drug to control the mutant students. Jean reads Nightcrawler's mind and determines that Stryker's base is inside the dam at Alkali Lake, where he plans to kill all mutants with a second Cerebro.

Through his son, Jason, Stryker gains control over Xavier, who is brainwashed to use Cerebro to find and kill all mutants. Mystique infiltrates Stryker's base by impersonating Wolverine. Storm and Nightcrawler search for the kidnapped students. Jean, Magneto, and Mystique are attacked by a brainwashed Cyclops while trying to rescue Xavier, and in the process cause damage to the generators that keep the dam from collapsing. The force of Jean's telekinetic blast clashing with Cyclops' optic blast awakens him from his brainwashing, but also cracks the dam. Wolverine finds Stryker in an adamantium smelting room, where he recovers some of his memory. Wolverine fights and kills Yuriko, then finds Stryker on a landing pad, where Stryker bargains for his life by offering to reveal Wolverine's past. Wolverine refuses, and instead binds Stryker in chains.

Storm and Nightcrawler find the students. Magneto and Mystique kill the rest of Stryker's men, and Magneto stops Jason and Xavier before Cerebro kills any mutants. Disguised as Stryker, Mystique uses Jason to convince Xavier to kill all the humans in the world instead; she and Magneto, along with new initiate Pyro, use Stryker's helicopter to escape Alkali Lake, after chaining Stryker to concrete rubble. Nightcrawler teleports Storm inside Cerebro, where she creates a snowstorm to break Jason's concentration, freeing Xavier from his illusion.

The X-Men flee the base as water engulfs it, and discover that Magneto, Mystique, and Pyro have escaped on the helicopter. Iceman and Rogue arrive with the X-Jet and get everyone on board. The dam bursts, flooding the landscape and killing Stryker. A malfunction aboard the X-Jet prevents it from taking off; Jean sacrifices herself by leaving the jet and creating a telekinetic wall as a shield against the flood. She activates the X-Jet's primary engines before releasing the torrent of water down on herself, presumably killing her.

The X-Men give the President files from Stryker's private offices, and Xavier warns him that humans and mutants must work together to build peace. Back at the school, Xavier, Cyclops, and Wolverine remember Jean, and Wolverine tells Cyclops that Jean chose Cyclops over him. As the film ends, a Phoenix-like shape forms beneath Alkali lake.

Among the trilogy of the X-men films, this is the one i love the most... the storyline is so dramatic, especially the end when Jean Grey sacrificed herself in saving the rest. From the start when Night Crawler came out to assassin the President, I known that this movie will be better than the first and yes it does, the graphic and everything is so so much better as well~ I just hope to see Rogue use more of her power compare to Iceman & Pyro~
