Carl and Ellie met when they were small. Both of them are fans of Charles Muntz who is a cool adventurous whom travel around to the Paradise Falls. They fall in love with each other and get married. They have a dream is to travel and build their own house on the top of the Paradise Falls. But their plan fail as they don't have much budget.

As they get old, they finally have enough money but Ellie is too weak and passed away. To fulfill his wife's dream, Carl make a plan of moving to the falls with his house along... But while flying off, he accidentally bring in a fat scout,Russell . Together they reach South America and met up with Kevin the big bird and Dug the doggy.

They were chased by a bunch of doggies which were lead by Alpha. These talking dogs work for Charles Muntz who is planning to catch the big bird. When idol has turn into bad guy, Carl feel dissapointed and sad. But he tried all his best to save all of them out from Charles Muntz.

Finally, Carl managed to send Russell back to the city and give him the badge that Russell has always been longing for.

L² Comment:

The story is very touching and lovely on the early part telling about Carl and Ellie. How they fall in love, have their dream and how they get old and finally Ellie passed away. To achieve this, Carl think of an idea of using balloons to fly their house to the Paradise Falls.. this which i think is funny and not make any sense especially when the old man carry a house around... but hey this is animation, so it make sense :)

Overall this is a good animation, love it :)
