The Reef

Released Year: 2010
Directed by Andrew Traucki

Casted by:
Damian Walshe-Howling as Luke
Adrienne Pickering as Suzie
Zoe Naylor as Kate
Gyton Grantley as Matt
Kieran Darcy-Smith as Warren
Story:
Luke invites his friend Matt and Matt's girlfriend, Suzie to join him as he sails to a coral reef. Also joining them is Luke's ex-girlfriend Kate and fellow sailor Warren. Within hours of beginning their journey, the yacht strikes a reef and capsizes when the keel is destroyed.

With the current taking them further away from land, Luke gathers supplies from the overturned vessel with the intention of swimming to nearby Turtle Island. With the group gathered on top of the overturned hull, Warren activates the yacht's EPIRB, but Luke informs him that it is an older model that requires a plane to fly overhead to receive the signal. When Luke suggests the others to join him in swimming to the island (which Luke estimates to be twelve miles away), Warren refuses as he believes the water is shark-infested. With encouragement Kate, Suzie and Matt follow Luke into the water as he begins the journey.

During their journey, the group find the carcass of a sea turtle that has had its head bitten off. On the overturned yacht, Warren spots a large Great White Shark circling the vessel. Soon, the group are also stalked by (presumably) the same shark. It approaches them several times, even brushing past Kate, before leaving. Kate and Suzie are supported by Matt and Luke as they are both in shock. However, during her encounter, Kate lost the bodyboard she was using as a flotation device. When Matt goes to retrieve it, he is attacked by the shark and his legs are severed. He is comforted by the group, but quickly dies. As night falls, Luke, Kate and Suzie are once more stalked by the shark. Suzie blames Luke for talking the group into swimming to an island he has seemingly lost.

In the morning, the group has drifted to a shallow area of the reef, where they are able to stand and rest. In the distance, they can see a larger rock formation protruding from the water, and they swim towards it. Paranoia affects the group as they continue. They share a laugh when they mistake a dolphin for the shark that took Matt. However, the shark soon returns and kills Suzie. Luke and Kate rest on the reef, and they both declare their love for each other. They begin to swim the final distance to the rocks as the shark closes in. Luke assists Kate in climbing to safety, but as he climbs onto the rocks the shark seizes him and drags him beneath the water.

The written epilogue reveals that Kate was rescued by a fishing boat the following day, however extensive searches failed to locate Warren or the vessel.

L² Comment:
Thanks to LeAnne & Amelia, i got this free movie ticket for the premier screening of this Australian film. Though its show in 2010 at Aussie, but it only came to Malaysia this year.

Its a true story movie, not bad and different from all other previous shark's film. The best part will be when they decide whether to stay on top of a racked boat or swim across to another island which they have no idea of how far it is. If i'm one of them, sure i will kill myself immediately~ lol

The whole film is shot in the sea, very exciting, you never know what's underneath the big mighty ocean, especially with the great white shark following u behind. I think its a good movie, you guys should enjoy it in the cinema.

Timber Falls

Released Year: 2007
Directed by Tony Giglio

Casted by:
Josh Randall as Mike
Brianna Brown as Sheryl
Nick Searcy as Clyde
Beth Broderick as Ida
Sascha Rosemann as Deacon
Story:
A couple is seen being tortured. After "Sarah" escapes from her bondings, her boyfriend tells her to run and is killed. Sarah runs from a figure in a black trench coat and a modified sickle. When Sarah is trapped on the edge of a cliff, she jumps off the cliff and is killed when she hits the ground.

The following scene shows another couple: Sheryl and Mike go on a hiking trip for the week. Though they are told by the park ranger that they should take the beginner's trail, the couple decides to go on the trail called "Timber Falls" at the advice of a friendly woman. The two meet a group of unfriendly hunters, and the couple is warned by the hunters that they should be careful about what they do in the woods, as some residents there do not take kindly to certain actions. Sheryl convinces Mike to empty his handgun of bullets, thinking there is nothing to worry about. The couple sets up camp after hiking down the trail and meeting up with another park ranger.

The couple goes to sleep, not noticing the shadowy figure that spies on them during the night. In the morning, Sheryl goes down to a lake to bathe. Though not shown on-screen, Sheryl is kidnapped by an unknown person. Mike wakes up and finds that Sheryl is missing. He tries to find her, and sees two of the hunters he and Sheryl encountered the previous day. He sees one of them holding one of Sheryl's articles of clothing. Believing they kidnapped her, he hits one of them over the head with a log, causing one hunter to run away. After taking the hunter's shotgun, Mike demands that the hunter tells him where Sheryl is. Though the hunter tells Mike he hasn't seen her since the day before, Mike knocks him out by hitting him with the stock of the shotgun after the hunter tries to attack him with a knife.

Mike leaves the hunter for dead, and continues his search for Sheryl. He soon gets his foot caught in a bear trap. He slowly faints. After he wakes up, he finds himself in a cabin. The cabin, owned by Ida Forester, who was the woman Mike and Sheryl saw the day before. She nurses him back to health, and assures Mike that she will contact the sheriff via the radio upstairs. Mike believes that Ida stole his wallet as she calls him by his real name "Michael". He claims that no stranger could figure that out so easily because he told very few people what his real name was, and claims that she stole his wallet and his I.D. She denies this, but he begins demanding that she let him use the radio. Ida and Mike engage in a fight, ending in the wounded Mike apparently knocking out Ida.

Mike rushes upstairs to use the radio, only to find it does not work. The camera then goes to Sheryl and shows her running away from a strange figure in a black trench coat. She finds the same park ranger they saw on the trail, only to find out he is allied with the man who was chasing Sheryl. It is revealed that this happened before Ida found Mike, as when Mike enters the cabin's basement, he finds Sheryl there, strapped to a chair. The basement of the cabin is shown as some sort of shrine, with a shelf of prematurely born babies in jars with name plates on the jars, a room which appears to be a containment room, and a room that appears to be a torture room. Mike, after finding Sheryl, is captured by Clyde, Ida, and Ida's brother Deacon, whose face is horribly disfigured. The family is shown to be a group of insane religious fanatics, believing that capturing the couple is for a good purpose.

After Ida describes having seen the couple having sex in their tent a few days previously, she and Clyde tell the couple that the punishment for their sins is for them to have a child for Ida and Clyde, due to Ida not being able to have a baby successfully. Mike and Sheryl are forced to marry, and over the course of three days, Ida and Clyde force them to attempt to have a child, brutally torturing them if they do not. Sheryl and Mike decide not to have a baby, for both know that when they do have a child, Ida and Clyde obviously will kill them. After a few days pass, two of the men Sheryl and Mike met days before hear about the missing couple, and decide that something strange is going on at Ida and Clyde's home. The two journey there on the third night that Mike and Sheryl have been captured. One goes through the front door, the other find a secret door to the cabin's basement.

The man who goes through the hidden door is killed by Clyde, only after Mike manages to yell for help. As the other man enters the basement, he is shot and killed by Ida. After Ida and Clyde come down to the basement and gloat about there being no rescue coming for Sheryl and Mike, Sheryl begins laughing hysterically. She tells Ida that she has already gotten pregnant with Mike before they went on the hiking trip, telling Ida that the child was conceived "in sin". Ida, in shock, drops the small blade she was going to mutilate Sheryl with. After Ida leaves the room, Mike quickly picks up the blade and slashes Clyde's throat. The couple then knocks out Ida, and Mike shoots Clyde in the head with the shotgun Ida had, mocking what Clyde had said earlier by saying, "I understand your extreme circumstances, but punishment must be handed down" before he shoots him.

After hobbling out of the basement, the couple exits the basement and prepares to leave the cabin. Mike tells Sheryl to run for help, and as she does, she is confronted by Deacon in the cabin. After a chase, she sets him on fire by pouring moonshine on him and then a lit match. She picks up his sickle and enters the cabin to get Mike. Ida charges out of the basement and stabs Mike with a knife; Sheryl quickly decapitates her with the sickle she took from Deacon.

A year has passed as we see the couple putting their baby to bed, leaving the room. As the movie ends the camera fades over to the window where Deacon's sickle is suddenly shown.

This is quite a good horror movie but a low budget movie. The whole movie is kinda exciting and you will not miss boobies appeared in the movie from Brianna Brown. Of course Josh Randall is so hot that you might have a nose bleed :)

Beth Broderick is the one who surprise me most. She was known as Aunt Zelda for Sabrina, The Teenage Witch :) So silly and crazy that time, never know she will be so good in acting in a horror movie as well ~

Nick Swardson as Michael
Lainie Kazan as Gail
Ido Mosseri as Oori
Story:
Zohan Dvir is a superhuman but kind-hearted Israeli counter terrorist and the finest and most respected soldier in the Israel Defense Forces. However, Zohan has become bored and sickened by the constant fighting, secretly dreaming of moving to the USA and becoming a hairdresser. Zohan goes on a mission to stop a Palestinian terrorist group being led by his personal arch-enemy, Fatoush "the Phantom" Hakbarah. During the pursuit he fakes his own death, and smuggles himself onto a flight to New York City, cutting his own hair and takes the alias "Scrappy Coco" (the names of two dogs he shared the flight with) while claiming that he is "Half Australian, Half Mount Everest." Meanwhile the Phantom becomes incredibly rich and famous for supposedly killing Zohan, gaining his own fast food business.

Initially unsuccessful in getting hired at several salons, Zohan's military expertise earns him a new friend, Michael, who gives him a place to stay. However, Michael starts to freak out when he finds Zohan having sex with his mother. Zohan encounters a fellow Israeli named Oori at a disco; he recognizes Zohan but agrees to keep his identity a secret. Oori takes him to a block in lower Manhattan filled with Middle Eastern Americans, who are split between a Palestinian side and an Israeli side of the street. Zohan attempts to land a job in a struggling salon of a Palestinian woman named Dalia. After first only allowing Zohan to sweep floors for free, she eventually allows him to be a stylist after he pleases a senior lady with a satisfactory haircut and back room sexual service. Zohan's reputation spreads instantly among the elderly women of lower Manhattan. Dalia's business booms, upsetting Grant Walbridge, a corporate magnate who has been trying to force out all the local tenants on the block so that he can build a mall.

Zohan is identified by a Palestinian cab driver named Salim, who bears a grudge against Zohan for taking his goat away. Salim convinces his friends to help him kill Zohan, but he is forced after a failed bomb attempt to contact Phantom. Salim attempts to blackmail Phantom, but he ends up getting the stiff end of the deal as he convinces Phantom to visit New York to find Zohan. Meanwhile, Zohan realizes that he has fallen in love with Dalia, and comes clean to Michael and his mother about his true identity, before meeting Dalia. Dalia rejects Zohan after he reveals he was formerly an Israeli counter-terrorist operative. Zohan decides to leave Dalia and confront Phantom in a championship Hacky Sack game sponsored by Walbridge. Zohan's fight is cut short with sudden news of the Middle Eastern block being attacked, and he quickly leaves.

Zohan arrives and calms the Israelis and Palestinians, who each blame the other for the violence, while making peace with Salim. Phantom then appears and confronts Zohan, but Zohan refuses to fight. Dalia appears, revealing that she is Phantom's sister, and convinces her brother to cooperate with Zohan against the arsonists, revealed to be white racist rednecks hired by Walbridge to instigate an inter-ethnic riot so he can get his new mall in the aftermath. As Zohan and Phantom work to save the block, the latter admits that he always wanted to be a shoe salesman rather than a terrorist. Although the rednecks are defeated and Walbridge sent to jail, Phantom accidentally destroys all of the shops on the block. However, with the Israelis and the Palestinians united, the block is transformed into a collectively owned mall called the Peace and Brotherhood Fire Insurance Mall. Phantom opens a shoe store in the mall, Salim gets a new goat which he gives children rides on, and Zohan and Dalia open a joint beauty parlor, Zohan having married Dalia. Zohan's parents show up approving his new life before asking that he cut their hair, which he happily does.

I have a very good laugh no matter how many times i watch this movie. Adam Sandler is so good in all these comedies. The whole movie is a bit over, but this is a comedy, we can't expect it to be too logic, right? Emmanuel is such a hottie and i really hope to see more movie of hers.

Another credit of this movie is that Sandler show us his butt, though its not very yummy, but yeah~ for a comedian, he doesn't need to do that. So not bad :) But Mariah Carey's appearance is so horrible, she looks fat and ugly~ ewww !!!

Casted by:
Dominic Purcell as Tim Manfrey
Brooke Langton as Aviva Masters
Orlando Jones as Steven Johnson
Jürgen Prochnow as Jacob Krieg
Gideon Emery as Mathew Collins
Gabriel Malema as Jojo
Linda Mpondo as Gold Tooth
Story:
The film opens as a forensic anthropologist in the African bush is looking over a mass grave of people who have been killed by what she claims are identical gunshot wounds. The woman and a UN soldier head away from the mass grave to inspect another one. She digs her shovel into what she believes is another grave only to be attacked by an unseen creature. The anthropologist is dragged into the water as the soldier opens fire. Other soldiers shoot at the attacker but it kills the woman and drags her into deeper water to consume her.

In a New York City newsroom, Tim is talking on his phone, while looking at a TV to see if his name is mentioned in connection with a case that he was working on in which the evidence was falsified. His cameraman and friend Steven is telling him maybe their boss, Roger, did not see or hear what was being broadcast, when Tim is asked to see Roger. Tim sees Roger who does not want to talk about his contract just yet, but instead introduces him to Aviva, a woman standing by another television set viewing a report about the anthropologist whose fate we saw. Aviva is a reporter who deals with animal stories, and she is interested in the story of Gustave, an enormous crocodile known to have killed hundreds of people in Africa. Tim is browbeaten into going to Africa with her to capture Gustave alive, taking Steven along.

At the airport in Burundi they are met by Harry, who warns them about the dangers of the bush including a dangerous warlord who has nicknamed himself "Little Gustave", but fails to delay their departure with wildlife expert Matt Collins. Their boat has machine-gun toting guards, who fight off an attack on their boat from the shore. When the party reach the village, they meet their guide, Jacob, and are blessed by the local shaman. The friendly villagers assemble a steel cage in order to catch Gustave, and take it to a nearby swamp. The first attempt to capture Gustave fails, but Matt manages to shoot him with a tracking dart. Steven, while getting scenic video, catches on film Little Gustave himself executing the shaman along with his family.

Jojo, a villager who helped set up the cage, tries to capture Gustave using himself as bait, in the hopes that if he captured Gustave the group would take him to America. One of the guards is caught stealing money from a tent, and is about to rape Aviva when Gustave arrives and kills him. Aviva runs to the group, and they return to the devastated camp. The guards work for Little Gustave, and the remaining guard shoots and wounds Jacob; just as he is about to execute the whole group, Jojo shoots him with Jacob's elephant gun. While treating Jacob's wound, Gustave attacks the group. Jacob recalls the story of how his wife, Anna, was killed by Gustave, and that he swore revenge. Jacob produces a grenade, and detonates it as Gustave attacks him in an attempt to kill him, but fails. A helicopter arrives to airlift the survivors, but Little Gustave's men attempt to blow it up to stop them from obtaining the video of the execution. Matt is struck by a car and shot to death by Little Gustave's men, and the group gets separated. Gustave chases Steven and Tim goes to look for him, but Aviva has to stay with the injured Jojo. Tim only finds Steven's camera. Harry arrives in a Range Rover, but Tim realises that he is Little Gustave and wants the video evidence. Tim attempts to trick Harry by giving him the GPS locater for the dart that tracks Gustave, saying it tracks a suitcase that contains the video. Harry declines and forces Tim to find the "suitcase".

While searching, Tim finds Steven's mutilated body, and kills the guard that was sent with him. Aviva splatters crocodile pheromones over Harry, and Gustave comes and devours the warlord. Tim, Jojo and Aviva climb into the Range Rover followed by Gustave, but they manage to escape home. The ending states that with the death of Little Gustave, the civil war ended for good, but Gustave is seen still very much alive and killing people.

X-Men: First Class

Released Year: 2011
Directed by Matthew Vaughn

Casted by:
James McAvoy as Dr. Charles Xavier / Professor X
Michael Fassbender as Erik Lensherr / Magneto
Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw
Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme / Mystique
January Jones as Emma Frost
Rose Byrne as Dr. Moira MacTaggert
Zoë Kravitz as Angel Salvadore
Caleb Landry Jones as Sean Cassidy / Banshee
Lucas Till as Alex Summers / Havok
Edi Gathegi as Armando Muñoz / Darwin
Jason Flemyng as Azazel
Álex González as Janos Quested / Riptide
Story:
At a German concentration camp in occupied Poland in 1944, scientist Dr. Schmidt[6] observes young Erik Lensherr bend a metal gate with his mind when the child is separated from his parents. In his office, Schmidt orders Lensherr to similarly move a coin on a desk, and kills his mother when the child cannot. In his grief and anger, Lensherr's magnetic power manifests, killing two guards and destroying the room, to Schmidt's delight.

At a mansion in Westchester County, New York, young telepath Charles Xavier meets homeless young shape-shifter Raven. Overjoyed to meet someone else "different" like him, he invites her to live with his family.

In 1962, an adult Lensherr is tracking down Schmidt to take revenge. In England, Oxford University graduate Xavier is publishing his thesis on mutation; Raven, now his foster sister, lives with him. In Las Vegas, CIA agent Moira MacTaggert follows US Army Colonel Hendry into the Hellfire Club, where she sees Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost, and Azazel. After Shaw threatens Hendry, Azazel disappears with the officer; moments later Hendry is in the War Room, advocating that the US install nuclear missiles in Turkey. Shaw later kills Hendry, revealing himself as Schmidt and demonstrating the energy-absorbing mutant power that has de-aged him.

MacTaggert, seeking Xavier's advice on mutation, convinces him and Raven to join her at the CIA, where they convince Director McCone that mutants exist and Shaw is a threat. The unnamed "Man in Black Suit", another CIA executive, sponsors the mutants and invites them to the CIA's secret "Division X" facility. Xavier locates Shaw, arriving in time to stop Lensherr, who had attacked Shaw, from drowning as Shaw escapes. Xavier brings Lensherr to Division X, where they meet young scientist Hank McCoy, a prehensile-footed mutant whom Xavier inadvertently outs as a mutant. McCoy, developing a bond with Raven, promises her he will find a way to normalize their appearance. Xavier uses a mutant-locating device, Cerebro, to find and recruit mutants for training to stop Shaw. He and Lensherr find stripper Angel Salvadore; taxi driver Armando Muñoz, who takes the code name Darwin; Army prisoner Alex Summers, who calls himself Havok; and Sean Cassidy, who dubs himself Banshee. Raven takes the name Mystique. She also dubs Charles "Prof. X" and Erik "Magneto."

When Frost meets with a Soviet general in the USSR, Xavier and Lensherr capture her. Meanwhile, Azazel, Riptide and Shaw attack Division X, killing everyone but the young mutants and offering them the chance to join him. Angel accepts; when Darwin tries to fight back, Shaw kills him. With the facility destroyed, Xavier takes the mutants to train at his family mansion. McCoy devises protective uniforms and a stealth jet. In Moscow, Shaw compels the general to have the Soviet Union install nuclear missiles in Cuba.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, US President John F. Kennedy institutes a blockade to stop a Soviet freighter from moving the nuclear missiles to Cuba. Shaw, wearing a helmet that foils Xavier's telepathy, accompanies the Soviet fleet to ensure the missiles arrive, trying to trigger World War III and achieve mutant ascendency. Raven goes to seduce Lensherr, who convinces her to embrace her nature as a mutant. Later, McCoy offers Raven his cure for her appearance, but she refuses. The cure backfires on McCoy, rendering him a leonine beast. Though ashamed of his new appearance, he pilots the mutants and MacTaggert to the blockade line. In an ensuing battle with Shaw, Lensherr takes the helmet for himself, allowing Xavier to immobilize Shaw. Despite Xavier's objections, Lensherr kills Shaw by forcing the Nazi coin through his brain, thus avenging his murdered mother, and displays his body to the mutants.

Fearing the mutants, the fleets fire their missiles at them. In a struggle, Xavier keeps Lensherr from destroying the fleets with the missiles, but when MacTaggert fires at Lensherr, a deflected bullet hits Xavier in the spine. Lensherr, remorseful, leaves with Mystique, Angel, Riptide and Azazel. A wheelchair-bound Xavier and the mutants return to the mansion, where he intends to open a school. MacTaggert promises never to reveal his location and they kiss; at the CIA later, she says she has no clear memory of recent events. Lensherr, in a uniform with the helmet and calling himself Magneto, breaks Frost from confinement.

A shame that i have actually miss this spectacular movie in the cinema few months ago. This is a movie which explain to us how professor X & Magneto came from; how they defeat their enemy; how they become enemy from friend; how mystique become the x-men's rival.

Using a bunch of tv series actors & actresses is a smart choice as they are much more cheaper than those blockbuster superstar. Somemore they are much more fresh and young. Really love this movie especially the sexy Emma Frost.

Anyone has the X-Men's comic or cartoon?

Wu Xia 武侠

Released Year: 2011
Directed by 陳可辛 Peter Chan

Casted by:
甄子丹 Donnie Yen as 劉金喜 / 唐龙 Xi / Long
湯唯 Tang Wei as 阿玉 Ayu
金城武 Takeshi Kaneshiro as 徐百九 Jiu
王羽 Jimmy Wang as 七十二地煞教主 The Master
惠英紅 Kara Hui as 十三娘 13 Niang / Knife Fighter
Story:
Liu Jinxi and his wife, Ayu are an ordinary couple with two sons, Fang Zheng and Xiaotian, living in the Liu village. One day, two bandits enter the village and attempt to rob a paper shop. Jinxi happens to be in the shop and while trying to save the shopkeeper, kills both of them. During autopsy, constable Xu Baijiu discovers that one of the dead bandits was the Government's top ten most wanted, Yan Dongsheng. The local magistrate was overjoyed and the villagers regarded Jinxi as a hero.

However, Baijiu is suspicious as Dongsheng, a skilled martial fighter, could not be easily killed by Jinxi, a mere paper worker. From evidence in the shop and the events described by Jinxi, in addition to his extensive knowledge on physiology, he is able to deduce that Jinxi is also a highly skilled martial fighter and the actual events during the fight after noting signs of brain hemorrhaging due to injury to the Vagus nerve. From subsequent observation, investigation and tests, and information from his partner, Baijiu discovers that Jinxi is actually the second lord of the 72 Dragons triads, Tang Long. Xu immediately set off to the local province to obtain an arrest warrant for Tang Long.

However, the local magistrate delayed issuing the warrent, citing lack of evidence while actually soliciting for a bribe from Baijiu. Eventually, he is able to obtain the bribe money from his estranged wife, who blames him for the death of her father. After issuing the warrent, the local magistrate informed the Master of the 72 triads, the father of Tang Long, of Tang Long's location for a reward. The Master, offended by the magistrate, kills the local magistrate instead by severing his Vagus nerve.

Throughout the movie, Xu's motives for arresting Tang Long is called into question as it is believed that he has been reformed and poses no harm to anyone. It is revealed that he had once sympathized with a thief as he was a young boy, sending him home instead of reporting him. However, that boy wound up poisoning his parents and nearly killing Baijiu. As a result, Baijiu is forced to suppress the poison via acupuncture. This spawns his objective view that only physiology and the law can be trusted. He had exposed his own father-in-law for selling fake medicine, driving him to suicide. Subsequently, his wife severed all ties with him. Similarly, Tang Long's past is explored, showing how he had fled the 72 Dragons due to the inhumane activities they partook in, particularly the slaughtering of a butcher's family, including his children.

The Master sends his people to Liu Village to kill Tang Long and torch the place. While Baijiu and his constables were on the way to Liu Village, two of the Master's henchmen reach the village and attempt to out and kill Tang Long. They kill a civilian and Jinxi is forced to expose himself, battling with and killing the two assailants. The remaining villagers are forced to hide in a fortress in order to protect themselves from the 72 Dragons, Baijiu and Tang Long staying behind.

Baijiu and Tang Long devise a plan to fake his death in order to get close to the gang, again utilizing Baijiu's extensive knowledge of physiology. It works and Tang Long severs his own left arm, declaring that he severs all ties with the 72 Dragons. The gang declares that Tang Long is dead, but tells him to go home and meet with the Master. Arriving home, he finds the Master had managed to take his family hostage, awaiting his arrival. After a tense encounter, the Master declares that he will let Tang Long go but will take his son Xiaotian with him, enraging him. Tang Long begins attacking the Master with a sword to no avail, the blade unable to penetrate his skin.

Baijiu is able to infiltrate the house through a hatch and during the battle, is able to weaken the Master by piercing his heel with an acupuncture needle from underneath the floor, making his skin less impervious to Tang Long's sword. However, he is soon incapacitated by the Master. Tang Long continues fighting but is quickly overpowered by the Master. As he prepares to kill Tang Long, Baijiu notices the needle still stuck in his heel and takes him by surprise, planting another one in his neck. Unfazed, the Master mortally wounds Baijiu. The top needle acts as a lightning rod and, in combination with the bottom needle acting as an earthing wire, the Master is charred by a lightning strike, killing him for good. Baijiu, in his dying breath, declares the case closed. The last scene of the film shows Tang Long, who's left with one arm, continuing to live an ordinary life with his family.

Well, its been a long time i didn't watch a good martial arts movie. Donnie Yen + Peter Chan is a blast~ a bit of comedy of here and there fresh up the whole movie, and make it not so boring if only martial arts are presented.

I really adore Jimmy Wang who is a 68 years old & Kara Hui who is 51 years old. Both of them are born from the martial arts family and they really show how good they are although they are old now. The way they fight and expression is really superb, especially when Donnie Yen is the director of martial arts in this movie.

As for Kaneshiro & Tang Wei, both of them really do show they are a good actor/actress though they do not involve in any fighting scene. This is really a movie you should never miss :)
