 Story:

Macy is waiting for her fiancee Takashi to attend their wedding in LA, but he did not appear. Macy went back to Hong Kong and met with Yong, who is a body guard of her father (to pretend as interior designer), and together they depart to Tokyo to look for Takashi.

At Tokyo, interpol officer Ren is looking for Takashi as well. He pretends as a private inspector to get near Macy for more information. 3 of them was hunted by the gangster Ito. On a boat fight, Takashi beat down Ito, but he was also arrested by police with the help of Ren and Yong. In the end, Yong escort Macy back to Hong Kong.

L² Comment:  

The storyline is kinda predictable, nothing special seriously. The most exciting part will be the fighting action part, it was carried out mostly by Ekin & Tony throughout the movie. For me, Kelly Chen is really an extra of this movie, i believe any actress can take her part if it weren't of her fame...

Love You You 夏日乐悠悠

 Story:

XiaMi is given a mission by JK to check on LeLe, she went her way to this beautiful island which is handled by LeLe and become his staff for these days. Misunderstanding happened and so do some romantic story in the island.

 

In the end XiaMi realize JK is using her to attack LeLe (JK's stepbrother) to win over the island, XiaMi let go of her dignity and tell the whole world about her flaws. One Year later in Beijing, XiaMi met Sophia who invited her back to YouYou Island  for her one year anniversary with Chang. At there, both XiaMi & LeLe met and they never let go of each other every again.

L² Comment:

Even though Jingle tried his best to create another love story after being rejected by Sammi & Ritchie for acting into this, Eddie Yu & Angelababy didn't really helps. Well, who ask Sammi to give such a deep impression to the audience on the previous movie? Sammi good job :)



Para Para Sakura 芭拉芭拉櫻之花

 Story:

Phillip Wong, a colour-blind dance instructor who holds a class devoted to the latest dance craze, the Japanese Para Para. While in Shanghai, Phillip meets Yee, a spoiled rich girl who is running away from her up-coming arranged marriage. Soon, Yee begins using Phillip's dance studio as a sanctuary from her responsibilities, and an attraction begins to form between the two. However, Yee is called back to Japan to be married before long, and Phillip must use more than his dance skills and charisma to prevent her from taking her vows.

L² Comment:

Nothing really special about this movie, except the para para dance which is quite famous at that time. Of course having Aaron Kwok & Cecilia Cheung in this movie can guarantee certain percentage of the tickets to be sold off. Basically all the actors/actresses are just simply acting in the film...

Mulan 花木蘭

Story:

Mulan is a young girl who know martial arts, she came from the country of Wei who happened to be in a war. Citizens were recruited to be armies, she was worried that the old father has to fight in the war, therefore, she dressed up as a boy and represent her father in the recruitment together with her friend, Xiao Hu.

During the training camp, Mulan met Wen Tai who is a very charming assistant general and also Hu Kui who is not so friendly. She was having problem to cover up herself as a girl especially when she need to bath. In the end, Wen Tai found out she's a girl but willing to hide it for her.

As wars came, everybody do their best and fight against Men Du's armies to protect Wei. And of coz Wen Tai has been promoted to become the general and Mulan become his assistant. Their fame become so big until other general become jealous and abandoned them in one of a big war with Men Du.

Xiao Fu and gang was captured and killed on spot, Hu Kui went for rescue but got killed too. At this moment, Wen Tai came and offer to the enemy and tell them actually he is the 7th prince of the emperor. Men Du catch Wen Tai and left Mulan and armies behind. For love, Mulan can't let Wen Tai died like this, she sneak in and seek help from the Rou Ran Princess. Rou Ran Princess was not happy to marry with Men Du and promise to help. In the end, Mulan killed Men Du and saved Wen Tai.

The emperor offer Mulan for a higher ranking but she rejected and went back for his father. Wen Tai has engaged with the princess but he is still missing Mulan and try to run away with her. But Mulan decided not to, because the marriage of Wen Tai and Rou Ran Princess will make sure Wei be in safe mode.

L² Comment:

I should say that i like Jingle Ma production, but this Mulan is kinda dissapointed. It did not tell much on the history which is the selling point for Mulan. And Mulan didnt read out the poem that she wrote in the real history. But all the actors and acrtresses are not bad. I never realised Vitas is the most popular singer in Russia now if my sister didnt tell me about it :)
