 Story:
In the aftermath of Superman's death, intelligence officer Amanda Waller assembles Task Force X, a team of dangerous criminals imprisoned at Belle Reve Prison consisting of elite hitman Deadshot, former psychiatrist Harley Quinn, pyrokinetic ex-gangster El Diablo, opportunistic thief Captain Boomerang, genetic mutation Killer Croc, and specialized assassin Slipknot. They are placed under command of Colonel Rick Flag to be used as disposable assets in high-risk missions for the United States government. Each member has a nano bomb implanted in their neck, designed to detonate should any member rebel or try to escape.

One of Waller's intended recruits is Flag's girlfriend Dr. June Moone, an archaeologist possessed by a witch-goddess known as the "Enchantress". Enchantress quickly turns on Waller, deciding to eradicate humankind with a mystical weapon for imprisoning her. She besieges Midway City by transforming its populace into a horde of monsters, and summons her brother to assist her. Waller then deploys the squad to extract a high-profile mark from Midway, which is reported to be under a terrorist attack.

Harley's homicidal lover, the Joker, finds out about her predicament and tortures Belle Reve Security Officer Griggs into leading him to the facility where the nano bombs are made. There, he blackmails one of the program's scientists into disabling Harley's bomb. On approach, the squad's helicopter is shot down, forcing them to proceed on foot to their target. Boomerang inaccurately convinces Slipknot that the bombs are a ruse to keep them in check; Slipknot attempts to escape and Flag kills him via his nano bomb, while the squad is attacked by Enchantress' minions. They eventually manage to fight their way through to a safe room, where they learn that their mark is Waller herself, who is attempting to cover up her involvement in Enchantress' siege.

The squad escorts Waller to a rooftop for extraction, but the arriving helicopter has been hijacked by the Joker and his men, who open fire on the squad while Harley climbs aboard. However, Waller's men shoot down the helicopter, and Harley falls out while the Joker is presumed dead, after which Harley rejoins the squad. Alerted to Waller's whereabouts, Enchantress' minions arrive and kidnap her. Deadshot finds Waller's confidential files and learns the truth about Enchantress. Flag is then forced to confess the truth, causing the squad members to abandon him. With Waller compromised, Flag relieves the squad of the mission, but chooses to continue. Realizing they have an opportunity to prove themselves, they soon rejoin him and locate Enchantress at a partially-flooded subway station. Killer Croc and a group of Navy SEALs, led by Lieutenant GQ Edwards, go underwater to plant a bomb underneath her brother. El Diablo embraces his abilities and manages to distract Incubus long enough for the bomb to detonate underneath, killing them both as well as Edwards.

The remaining squad members battle Enchantress together, but are ultimately defeated. Enchantress offers to fulfill their deepest desires in exchange for their allegiance, and Harley feigns interest in order to get close enough to cut out Enchantress's heart. Killer Croc then throws explosives into Enchantress' weapon and Deadshot shoots them, destroying the device. Flag takes Enchantress's heart and crushes it, finally freeing June from the curse. Waller, still alive, emerges, and the squad members are returned to Belle Reve with ten years off their sentences. All but Captain Boomerang are allowed special privileges. The Joker, alive and unscathed, breaks into the penitentiary and rescues Harley. In a mid-credits scene, Waller meets with Bruce Wayne, who agrees to protect her from the backlash of Enchantress's rampage in exchange for access to the government's files on the expanding metahuman community.

After watching a superhero film, its time to "balance" myself with some nasty villain movie. I thought this will be a supercool movie but in the end i don't really into it at all, and some part is kinda boring as hell. Casting wise, yes the movie did manage to found Will Smith and Jared Leto which i'm quite surprise, however i really not familiar with these characters at all, except The Joker. And how come there's no catwoman?!? DC is always on the lose side comparing to Marvel, sorry to say so...

Knight & Day

Released Year: 2010
Directed by James Mangold

Casted by:
Tom Cruise as Roy Miller
Cameron Diaz as June Havens
Viola Davis as Director George
Story:
Knight and Day follows the adventures of Roy Miller whose real surname is Knight - and June Havens. After literally bumping into Miller twice at the airport on the way home from Wichita to pick up car parts, Havens is told she has been bumped to a later flight. Meanwhile, Agent Fitzgerald, believing Havens is working with Miller, puts her back on the plane. Completely taken with Miller, Havens goes to the restroom; and the remaining passengers all attack Miller. Miller kills them all and props the bodies up in their seats. Havens emerges from the restroom, where she has been freshening up in the hopes of a sexual encounter with Miller. Having heard nothing, she is totally unaware of the attack on him. After a forward moment where Havens kisses Miller, he calmly informs her that everyone on the plane is dead, including the pilots. Believing it a joke, Havens plays along until Miler enters the cockpit and the bodies of the passengers begin to shift around the plane. Crashing into a corn field, Miller delivers Havens home after drugging her and explaining that other agents will visit and that, if they constantly repeat that she is being taken somewhere "safe and secure", they are planning to kill or imprison her.

Waking up at home, Havens struggles through a day fitting a bridesmaids dress for her sister April's wedding, and is shocked to learn her sister would like to sell their father's car, which Havens had planned on finishing as a wedding present. Havens is then picked up by a group of intelligence agents. Miller arrives and, through a long gunfight on the highway, kills several agents and reclaims Havens. Havens flees at the first opportunity and contacts Rodney, a firefighter and former boyfriend. Believing Havens is merely stressed and is playing out a fantasy, Rodney tries to comfort her until Miller arrives and kidnaps Havens, handcuffing her and shooting Rodney in a specific non-vital area ,telling him this will all make him a hero and virtually guarantee his promotion to lieutenant.

Miller explains that Havens is safer with him; and Havens agrees to follow him as they go to pick up Simon Feck, a genius inventor who created a perpetual energy battery called the Zephyr. Miller arrives at his safe house where he left Feck, only to find him gone, and the two are ambushed by men belonging to Antonio, a Spanish arms dealer. After Miller again drugs Havens, she drifts in and out of consciousness between their capture and escape from Antonio's men, and Miller brings her to an island that is off the grid, which Miller uses as a safehouse. Accepting a call from her sister after leaving in frustration, Havens accidentally leads the CIA straight to the hideaway. They try to kill Miller and Havens with a remote drone.

Again knocking out Havens, Miller transports them to a train heading through the Alps, which Feck left as a message in code for Miller. Havens, missing a message from Miller, leaves to get dinner and encounters Danny, a German assassin. Using tricks learned from Miller, Danny is knocked from a window and killed by a train. Miller, after leaving Havens and Feck in a hotel in Spain, heads to a meeting with a mysterious beautiful woman with whom he is apparently willing to make a deal, and is followed by Havens, who is heartbroken to learn that Miller is apparently planning on selling the Zephyr to Antonio. After being picked up by the CIA and meeting the director of counter-intel, she uses a pen transmitter to notify them when Miller returns with the Zephyr, which is showing signs of overheating. After leading the CIA agents on a chase, Miller is apparently shot and falls into a canal.

Returning home, Havens heads to an address she remembered from Miller's iPhone, where she finds his parents and learns that his real name is Matthew Knight. They believe their son, a former Army sergeant and Eagle Scout, is dead; but they are fabulously wealthy from winning lotteries and sweepstakes they don't remember entering. Leaving a message that she has the Zephyr, she is captured by Antonio's men and taken back to Spain. She is drugged with truth serum before being rescued by Miller, who was tracking Fitzgerald, who was delivering Feck to Antonio. Chasing Fitzgerald, Miller saves Feck from a bullet wound after handing over the Zephyr in a small satchel. Feck comments that the battery is unstable. The battery explodes, killing Fitzgerald; and Miller collapses from a gunshot wound. After waking in the hospital, Miller receives an apology from the director, who tells him that Havens has returned home and claims that Miller can't be distracted.

Miller is later given medication by a nurse, who turns out to be Havens. After Havens breaks Miller out of the hospital, he awakes as she drives away in the rebuilt GTO that belonged to Havens's father. After Miller asking what day it is, Havens kisses him and says it's someday. This is a reference from the start of the movie that they both have things they want to do someday, and Havens begins to drive towards Cape Horn.

Basically i yawn through the whole film. Diaz looks old, Cruise looks old, Davis is not as good as she is in DOUBT. The whole film is so damn boring. The only interested part is when they are on bike being chase along by bulls in Spain.

This is a movie which u will never remember its story after one week, or maybe a few days later. Nothing much to mention about. I even got the movie preview frm wiki....

Overall this film has help the casting to won a lot of awards or being nominated. Such as Meryl Streep wining the Best Actress in Critics' Choice Awards, Phoenix Film Critics Society Awards & Washington DC Area Film Critics Association Awards; Viola Davis winning the best supporting actress for Dalla-Fort Worth Film Critics Association Awards, Houston Film Critics Society Awards, National Board of Review Awards and St Louis Gateway Film Critics Association Awards. You can't see any nudity scene at all although this is a GLBT film. And the expression of Meryl and Philip Seymour will totally swept your breath away.
