 Story
Umbrella Corporation is the most powerful corporate entity in the world, and 9 out of 10 residents use its products. However, most of the real profits come from clandestine projects relating to viral weaponry and genetic experimentation. The main stronghold of the research is The Hive, a secret genetic research facility set underneath Raccoon City, which houses over 500 employees, mostly advanced scientists, researchers and support staff. The Hive is fully automated by a high-tech artificial intelligence called the Red Queen.

One day, a thief steals the genetically engineered T-virus from the storage labs. To cover up the theft, he throws one of the vials and smashes it, releasing the T-virus airborne. Red Queen detects the vial and the exposure, which can transit airborne. To prevent the release of the T-virus, Red Queen takes control of the security systems and initiates a facility-wide lockdown, and then releases lethal doses of halon, which murders the entire staff inside.

Alice awakens in a deserted mansion with amnesia under the shower. She dresses and inspects the mansion, finding a cryptic message written by an unknown person and a large cache of weaponry in a drawer locked with plexiglass. After briefly stepping outside, a helicopter flies over the mansion, and she is subdued by a police officer, Matt Addison. However, Matt is quickly subdued by a group of commandos who storm the mansion, and they handcuff Matt. The leader, named One, requests a report from Alice, but she is clueless. One decides to take Alice and Matt, along with his commandos, to a secret entrance to The Hive using an underground train. Along the way, they find another amnesiac, Spence, and One explains that they are operatives working for Umbrella, and they are in a sham marriage to protect the Hive's entrance and secrecy of the facility. One also explains the situation and the need to reach the Red Queen.

After a while, they reach the Queen's chambers. One, Alice, Spence, Kaplan, the team's medic and two other commandos go to the chambers, while J.D and Rain keep watch of Matt. One and his commandos enter the hallway leading to the chamber, while Kaplan unlocks the central chamber by hacking the systems. However, he accidentally seals the commandos, and Red Queen activates a laser defense system, which slices most of the commandos and bisects One into pieces. Kaplan deactivates the system and heads inside with Alice, and uses a machine to disable Red Queen, and removes her circuit boards to prevent her from rebooting. However, in the process, he unlocks all the doors and gateways in the Hive, and this releases the zombified staff. During a battle with the zombies, Rain is bitten and J.D perishes in a zombie horde. Alice begins regaining her memories, but Matt and Alice are separated from the group. Matt looks for information about his sister Lisa, while Alice encounters several infected Dobermans and surprises herself when she reflexively defends herself with martial arts.

Matt finds his sister zombified. Alice saves him and Matt explains that he and Lisa were environmental activists wanted by the FBI and Quantico, and that a police officer persona was only a fake alias (commandos assumed that he is a cop despite not having records of him since he lied about being just transferred). Lisa infiltrated Umbrella to smuggle out evidence of illegal experiments but failed to succeed. Alice remembers she was Lisa's contact in the Hive and was intending to bring down Umbrella, but keeps this silent from Matt in fear of his revenge.

The survivors reunite at the Queen's chamber. The commandos explain that they have one hour before the Hive will seal automatically using a device they set at the blast doors, trapping them inside. Alice and Kaplan activate the Red Queen in order to find an exit and rig the Red Queen's circuit breaker so they can shut her down remotely to force her cooperation. As they escape through maintenance tunnels from the chamber, they are ambushed by zombies, including a reanimated JD who bites Rain, having being bitten twice before hand and infecting her further. When JD tries to attack, Rain kills him. They still managed to get to safety, However, Kaplan is bitten and separated from the group.

Alice remembers that an anti-virus is in the storage lab, but when they arrive it is missing. Spence suddenly regains his memory; he remembers having overheard Lisa and Alice's talk about the T-virus theft, and Alice wanted to destroy the corporation. However, Spence himself infiltrated the Hive and stole the T-virus, releasing it to cover his tracks, and he hid the vials on the train, where he passed out from the gas that was released. He reveals that he did it solely for the purpose of selling it on the black market, and he wrote the cryptic message to Alice, assuming this was what she wanted. However, she refuses to cooperate, so he holds her and Matt at gunpoint before locking them inside. However, he is bitten in the process.

Spence arrives on the train, but the Red Queen talks to Alice and reveals she was keeping a Licker, a genetically mutated animal (implied to be a rabbit), for them, and she releases him on Spence, who is devoured by it as they watch it on a monitor. Queen offers to spare Alice and Matt if they kill Rain, whose health is fading and who has been infected too long for the anti-virus to work reliably. As the Licker attempts to reach them, Rain tells Alice to kill her. Alice refuses and smashes the Red Queen's monitor, then a power outage occurs. The lab door opens to reveal Kaplan, who disabled the Red Queen to open the door. They reach the train, where Alice dispatches a zombified Spence and takes the anti-virus.

On the train, they inject Rain and Kaplan with the anti-virus. However, the Licker is hiding on the train, and attacks them, clawing Matt over his arm. The Licker grabs Kaplan and hurls him from the train, killing him instantly. Alice and Matt battle the Licker using the remaining pistol and several lead pipes. Licker attempts to grab Alice using his tongue, but she grabs a pipe and jams it into his tongue, trapping him. Rain turns into a zombie and attacks Matt, but he subdues her and shoots her, killing her. He opens the trapdoor, sending the Licker on the tracks, who bursts on fire due to intense friction, before sealing it, ejecting him from the train.

Alice and Matt, the only survivors, arrive safely back in the mansion just as the blast doors close, resealing the Hive. However, Matt's wound begins mutating. Before Alice can give him the anti-virus the mansion doors burst open and a group of Umbrella scientists and commandos seize them. They subdue Alice and take Matt away, revealing he is to be put into the Nemesis Program, and they intend to re-open the Hive. Alice attempts to fight them off, but is knocked unconscious by the swarm of scientists, led by Dr. William Birkin, who experiments on her personally.

Some time later, Alice awakens at the Raccoon City Hospital strapped to an examination table, with no memory of what happened since her capture. After escaping, she goes outside to find Raccoon City abandoned. A newspaper clipping shows that the T-virus spread to the surface after Umbrella reopened the Hive, creating an army of undead that devastated the city. Alice arms herself with a shotgun from an abandoned police car.

28 Days Later

 Released Year: 2002
Directed by Danny Boyle

Casted by:
Cillian Murphy as Jim
Naomie Harris as Selena
Brendan Gleeson as Frank
Christopher Eccleston as Major Henry West
Megan Burns as Hannah
Story:
In Cambridge, animal liberation activists break into a medical research laboratory with the intent of freeing captive chimpanzees. They are interrupted by a scientist pread through bites. Ignoring the scientist, the activists release the chimpanzees. One of the chimps attacks an activist and immediately infects her, leading her to infect everyone else present, including the scientist.

28 days later, a bicycle courier named Jim awakens from a coma in St Thomas' Hospital in London. He finds the hospital, and the city, completely deserted with signs of catastrophe everywhere. Jim wanders into a church, where he is spotted and pursued by people infected by Rage. He is rescued by Selena and Mark, who throw Molotov cocktails at the "Infected", resulting in the explosion of a petrol station. At their hideout in the London Underground, Selena and Mark explain that a blood-borne, rage-inducing virus spread uncontrollably among the populace, resulting in societal collapse. They claim that infection has been reported in Paris and New York.

The next morning, Selena and Mark accompany Jim to his parents' house, where he discovers that they have committed suicide. That night, two Infected see a candle Jim lights in the kitchen and attack. Mark is badly cut and covered in Infected blood; Selena quickly kills him, later explaining to Jim that the Rage virus overwhelms its victims in no more than thirty seconds. This necessitates the immediate killing of people who may have been infected. She also assures him that, should he get infected, she would kill him "in a heartbeat." After leaving, at Balfron Tower, they discover two more survivors, Frank a cab driver, and his teenage daughter, Hannah, and are invited to spend the rest of the night with them.

Frank informs them the next day that their supplies, particularly water, are dwindling, and plays them a pre-recorded radio broadcast apparently transmitted by a military blockade near Manchester. The broadcast claims the soldiers have "the answer to Infection" and invite any survivor to try to reach their safe haven. The survivors board Frank's cab in search of the signal source and, throughout the trip, bond with one another in various situations. When the four reach the deserted blockade, Frank is Infected when a drop of blood from a dead body falls into his eye. As he succumbs, he is killed by the arriving soldiers, who then take the remaining group to a fortified mansion under the command of Major Henry West.

West shows the group that he keeps an Infected soldier, Jim Mailer, chained in a back yard, demonstrating that his "answer to Infection" entails waiting for the Infected to starve to death while recruiting survivors to rebuild society. However, Jim discovers that part of the "answer" also includes luring female survivors into sexual slavery to rebuild the population with West's platoon. Jim attempts to escape with Selena and Hannah, but is captured by the soldiers, along with the dissenting Sergeant Farrell. During their imprisonment, Farrell theorizes that only Great Britain has has been infected and is now quarantined; his theory is confirmed when he spies NATO aircraft conducting aerial reconnaissance.

The next day, Selena and Hannah are dressed in bouffant gowns in preparation for rape, as two soldiers lead Jim and Farrell to be executed. After his escorts quarrel after killing Farrell, Jim escapes. After luring West and one of his men to the blockade and ambushing them, Jim runs back to the mansion where he releases Mailer. As Mailer attacks the rest of the platoon, Jim rescues Selena and kills her captor, Corporal Mitchell (Ricci Harnett). The two reunite with Hannah and run to Frank's cab, only for Jim to be shot by an infuriated West. After feeding West to Mailer and fleeing the mansion, Selena and Hannah rush Jim to a hospital. Jim is saved by Selena, but is once again comatose. The group leaves Manchester.

28 days later, Jim is shown to be recovering at a remote cottage. Downstairs, he finds Selena sewing large swaths of fabric when Hannah appears. The three rush outside and unfurl a huge cloth banner, adding the final letter to the word "HELLO" laid out on the meadow. A lone Hawker Hunter T7 fighter jet flies over the landscape. The Infected are shown lying on roads dying of starvation. The jet flies over the three waving survivors and their distress sign while the pilot, speaking in Finnish, calls in a rescue helicopter. As it flies away, Selena says with a smile, "Do you think they saw us this time?"

Dog Soldiers

 Released Year: 2002
Directed by Neil Marshall

Casted by:
    Kevin McKidd as Private Cooper
Sean Pertwee as Sergeant Harry G. Wells
    Emma Cleasby as Megan
    Liam Cunningham as Captain Ryan
Darren Morfitt as Private "Spoon" Witherspoon
Chris Robson as Private Joe Kirkley
Leslie Simpson as Private Terry Milburn
Thomas Lockyer as Corporal Bruce Campbell
 Story:
The plot begins with a couple camping in the Scottish Highlands. The woman gives the man a silver letter opener as a present, soon after they are attacked in their tent. Meanwhile, Private Cooper is seen running through a forest in North Wales. He attacks his pursuers, but is overwhelmed and wrestled to the ground. It turns out Cooper was trying to join the special forces, but fails when he refuses to shoot a dog. He is returned to unit by Captain Richard Ryan.

Four weeks later, a squad of six regular British Army soldiers, including Cooper, is dropped into the Scottish Highlands. Expecting to carry out a training mission against an SAS unit, they only find their savaged remains. The single survivor, Captain Ryan, makes cryptic references to what attacked them. It is noticed that he has been wounded. Unseen antagonists make their presence known as they attack the troops. Whilst retreating, Bruce is impaled on a tree branch and Sergeant Wells is attacked. He is rescued by Cooper and carried to the roadside where the group encounter Megan, a zoologist who takes them to a lonely house. The soldiers that remain are Wells, Cooper, Spoon, Joe, and Terry. As darkness arrives, the house is surrounded by the attackers: to the soldiers' incredulity, these are revealed to be werewolves.

They go to get in the car, but it was destroyed by the werewolves. The soldiers maintain a desperate defense against the werewolves, believing that if they can make it to sunrise, the werewolves will revert to human form. Cooper and Megan then treat Wells' wounds. After Terry is abducted and ammunition runs short, they realize that they will not last, and decide to try to escape. Spoon creates a distraction while Joe steals a Land Rover from the garage. When he gets in the car, he sees Terry in the garage being eaten by a werewolf. The werewolf rips off Terry's head and throws it at the windshield. Joe drives up to the house door, then realizes that a werewolf was hiding in the back seat. Joe is killed. Ryan transforms into a werewolf due to his previous wounds, but not before revealing in an angry exchange with Cooper that the Government had sent him on a mission to capture a live werewolf in order that they could be investigated and weaponised. A fight ensues and Ryan escapes, running off into the forest. The soldiers try blowing up the barn where Megan tells them the werewolves must be hiding with petrol, gas canisters, matches, and the Land Rover. Once it's been destroyed, Megan reveals that not only were there no werewolves in the barn, but she also told them that to destroy their only means of transportation; she is a werewolf as well, and had been suppressing the transformation, but now gives in. She also reveals that she unlocked the front door to the house, allowing the werewolves inside. Before she fully transforms, Wells runs in to the room just in time and shoots her in the head. He and Cooper run upstairs and Spoon runs to the kitchen, blocking the door. The werewolf breaks in and Spoon runs out of ammo. He fights the werewolf, but is killed by another. Meanwhile, Wells and Cooper shoot through the floor upstairs to escape the werewolves, dropping into the kitchen. Wells cuts a gas line and blows up the house whilst Cooper hides below in the cellar. Before he can flee, Ryan, transformed into a werewolf, confronts him. Cooper kills him with the silver letter opener and shoots him in the head. He and Megan's dog, Sam, walk off into the woods. As the credits roll a newspaper appears showing the football result (England: 5, Germany: 1), with a smaller headline showing a small picture of Cooper and the headline "Werewolves ate my platoon."

This movie titled as dog soldiers, but what the heck the creatures has to do with dogs? They look totally like the wolfs and the whole story is not really that exciting, but the slashing and killing part is good. But i definitely wont watch it again~

Basically, this is a very simple story. Kinda easy to understand. But there's some part which is kinda boring and you might fall asleep if you don't have a coffee with you :) Hugh's acting is so so, nothing much different from his usual perfomance. While this kid, Nicholas really gave a surprise to me. I mean, his acting is not really a superb like Halley or Dakota, but not a bad one too...
