 Story: 

Continue from the first movie, Chi Yan has chose Kevin instead of Sean and will be getting marry soon. While Sean in another hand trying to avoid  Chi Yan appears in his life again by getting more slutty & even attached with Yang, an iron lady who is expert in shares investment.

Things just happen so coincidentally that Chi Yan work as an economic adviser in Yang's office which happened to located opposite of Sean's office building. Chi Yan's brother, Ken has his feeling on Yang one day who needs help on moving her car out from a terrible parking conditions. Both of them quickly get close with each other due to one octopus but Yang is still having most of her feeling for Sean.

After knowing that Sean's ex girlfriend is Chi Yan & Sean is still unable to let go of Chi Yan (Sean has been renting Chi Yan's old apartment & stay overnight there daily to feel the appearance of Chi Yan in his life), Yang get angry because Sean has proposed to her but still can't let go of Chi Yan. At the same time, Yang even mistaken Ken is Kevin and angrily push Ken into the sea. Yang scolded Sean; Sean released his stress & depression by beating up Kevin at his house. But thing sorted out when Chi Yan told Yang that Ken is actually her brother instead.

On the wedding day of Chi Yan & Kevin (at the top floor of a high building), Sean crazily hike his way all up to that building just to attracts Chi Yan's attention by not marrying to Kevin. This crazy behavior cause everyone to go insane & Yang even sprained her ankle on it. In the end, both Kevin & Ken climb up to the top and managed to pull Sean back to the building. Chi Yan cried & hit Sean for his behavior. In front of everyone, Yang asked Chi Yan to choose one guy but Chi Yan chose non of them. Yang stopped Chi Yan from leaving and her turn to hit on Sean. Yang forced Sean to choose between her and Chi Yan & Sean chose Chi Yan by saying sorry to Yang. Disappointingly, Yang decided to walk away but Ken rush out to propose but was rejected by Yang. Ken is not giving up, he rush behind Yang (after picking her heels from the pool), and told Yang no matter how, he will not let go of her... The elevator's door close with Yang sort of accept Ken by letting him help her to wear back her heels.

Before Yang left just now, she told Chi Yan to be brave and chose the man that she really wants. Chi Yan walked up to Kevin and saying that she is sorry and run away by pulling Sean along...

L² Comment: 

Wow, I never know that the sequel is so much better than the first movie. The whole storyline is richer & exciting when another 2 characters (Yang & Ken) was added in; but in the same time the character of Kevin has become a supporting role instead of the lead role like the first movie. 

Throughout the movie, not only I can feel the sadness, disappointment, jealousy that presented by these actors & actresses... I feel that Louis Koo finally improve his acting skills after so many years acting in the same kind of characters in so many movies. Bravo to him.

Not sure whether in future the production house will be doing the same kind of story about single man & lady or not... but definitely the characters will be change, just hope that they will maintain some of these actors & actresses in the new movie again...

 Story:

Hong is a cancer survivor and a responsible kindergarden headmaster. She is frustrated with the city kindergarden style of management and decided to be a HKD4,500 headmaster in Yuen Tian village. There has 5 kids and if by next year there is less than 5 students, the kindergarden will be closed down. Too bad that one of the kid will be graduated next year and Hong needs to find a new kid to replace the space. But the cancer cause her to be admitted to hospital and her husband Dong take up the responsibility to continue. During the graduation day, they thought it is the end of the kindergarden, but luckily there are another 2 children join in and the kindergarden get to stay on.

Watch this very touching movie with my love one and i saw tears in the eyes~ awww... This is a very nice movie which based on a real story. I believe a lot of us will feel that we are so lucky because we have chances to proceed with our education, not like these 5 girls who almost lost their chance in it if not because of the responsibility headmaster. Its a very good movie with good storyline, i dont mind to watch it again if anyone of u got the dvd :p

 Story: 

Five months after the events in Love in a Puff, Jimmy and Cherie face more difficulties in their romantic relationship as they split up and both individually end up in Beijing as they follow their jobs to China’s capital city, and both begin new relationships there. But despite their best efforts they can’t seem to keep away from each other.

Jimmy dated You You, a cabin crew while Cherie met the rich KL guy, Sam. Both of them experienced the life without each other but still remember each other deeply. Soon, both give up their new lover and get back to each other again...

A comedy romance sequel from "Love in a Puff", it was showed in the HK blockbuster after 2 years from the first movie. I still love the romance between the 2 of them, this time it spice up by adding 2 love rivals in their love story. And the funniest part of course is Shawn Yue pretended to be Linda Wong and sang her famous song 别问我是谁.

 Story:

Since 2007, the Hong Kong government banned smoking in all indoor areas, causing smokers from neighboring buildings to gather for cigarette breaks during office hours at trash bins with ashtrays near their work premises. The regulars started sharing small talks and dirty jokes like friends at a hot pot dinner and this community became known as the "Hot Pot Pack".

Jimmy is an advertising executive who befriended Cherie, a cosmetic sales girl, at a "Hot Pot Pack" shortly after Jimmy broke up with his girlfriend who cheated on him. Cherie's flirting with Jimmy during their cigarette breaks, through text messages and excursions at night eventually led to Cherie's break up with her lived-in boyfriend. This sudden change in their relationship, including a failed one night stand at a love motel, caused them to confront the change in their relationship and consider whether they are viewing each other as love interests or just a companion during lonely nights.

A very hit romantic movie in 2010, which helps Miriam Yeung to be nominated as Best Actress in HK academy awards. The whole film is simple and love how the speedy love build up among the Hongkies in such a modern life. I can't wait to see the second movie, who has it?

Story:

Ming is an owner of "Love shop" which match up couples, but he has been cheating his customer. In one incident, Yue help him out by pretending as Fiona. Yue is blind and his father ask Ming to help her out on matching a guy. Ming one day get blind too and luckily Yue was there to help him out and teach him the skills of being a blind person. As time goes by, both of them fall in love and decided to get together but Ming's blindness recover. Yue feel like she's a burden for Ming and decided to leave him. Ming and Yue play a faith game, if they manage to meet each other in the subway train with Ming's eyes close then they will get together. In the end, both of them were take good care by faith and be together.

In another hand, Cheng and Ling are both in Taiwan. They also fill up their love story through the subway train.

L² Comment:

This movie are divided into 2 parts, one Hong Kong and one Taiwan. For me, i prefer the Hong Kong part which was acted by Tony Leung and Miriam Yeung. Their story is more touching yet memorable compare to another part from Taiwan.

Story:

Desperate Yan saw Feng in a club reading Dan Brown's novel and tackle him, they have sex 3 times on that night. The next day they were shocked during work time as they discover each other real identity. Feng was forced to work for Yan due to his boss' debts. Yan discuss her life with her 4 best friend - Doris, Remmy, Mimi & Fanny regarding her new life.

As one of the client request to have Lady Gaga as performer in their wedding, Yan went to seek help from Feng's mother, Lady Mama. Yan and Feng get together though Yan still can't forget Kelvin, his ex boyfriend who left her during their wedding. As time goes by, Yan once and once dissapointed Feng in front of the colleagues and her best friend. During a birthday celebration, Feng chose the pretty Flora who has been falling for him.

Yan is angry on Feng with Flora and decided to marry with Kelvin. Feng and Flora shopping but Feng's heart is not there, Flora pissed off and dump him in front of Doris, Remmy, Mimi & Fanny. The girls advice Feng to go for Yan. When Feng reach the jetty, he thought Yan has left but actually Yan run away from the wedding this time. 3 months later, they met again and discover Yan is still single. They get together and have great sex again.

L² Comment:

No doubt this is a nice and funny romance film, but i don't think Miriam Yeung is good enough to win Best Actress in one of the award. Its nothing special compare to her previous acting. For me, if Raymond Lam really wanna outstand himself, i would recommend him to appear on the big screen with only short underwear or let us have a good look at his butt~ or else, with his this kind of acting, he will never shine at all~

The Sorcerer & The White Snake 白蛇传说

Story:

Bai & Qing are both snake who came to the human world. Bai fell in love with Xian who's a good hearted guy who helps others as a doctor. Bai even saved Xian who drowned in the Xi Lake which make Xian can't forget her.

Hai is a monk who defeated a lot of devil including the snow devil. Ren is Hai's student who is very innocent but he was beaten by the vampire on an event. Ren makes friend with Qing who taught him how to live as a devil. Xian and Bai met again and both of them get marry with the help of other jungle's devils. But when Hai came with other monks, they flee. When Hai almost vanish Qing, Ren came to help which makes Hai realize Ren has become a devil too.

Bai drank the wine from Xian which is tricked by Hai to make her appeared in the snake form, Hai came and try to defeat her but she managed to swim away and this scare Xian. But the power of love makes Xian went through all his way to Lei Feng temple to get the magical grass to cure Bai. But stealing the magical grass caused all the devils released from the temple and went into Xian's body. To save Xian, Hai has to gather all monks in the temple and cleanse his sole. But Bai and Qing thought Hai purposely capture Xian and both of them use the water of Xi Lake to drowned the Jin Shan temple. This has caused a lot of sacrifice of human beings. Hai has to used Lei Feng temple to captured Bai in the end.

L² Comment:

I would not say this is not good, but of course i still prefer the old version by Joey Wang & Maggie Cheung. Jet Li might be as good as Zhao Wen Zhuo, but Eva Huang & Charlene Choy definitely not up to the beat of the two older diva :)

The whole movie used up a lot of special effect which is a good thing. It creates a good effect especially the part when Jet Li fight against Vivian Hsu. But the only fake part will be Charlene's luxurious boobs~ lol... i almost laugh out hard when i see her boobs in green snake scale. She's almost as flat as Sammi Cheng now due to her skinny issue, but the graphic guy sure must have treat her well to give her a nice boob in this movie :P
