Story:

Sara was sexually abused by her stepfather, Wah during her teenager time and her mother, May kept silence and did not rescue her. Sara runs away from home, earns her own keep and spends her nights in various location with other young girls, including country parks and fast-food joints that stay open 24 hours. While hanging around the Tsim Sha Tsui East promenade late one evening, she meets the gentlemanly, middle-aged Yin. Sara offered Yin a blowjob in terms that Yin has to get her into a good school and a new life she wanted to have.

Both Sara & Yin started this complicated relationship which was well hidden in the society as Yin is a politician and he is married as well. They were together for many years and the relationship has transformed into some sort of love which Yin started to jealous of Sara communicating with other younger guy in her university; Sara not happy that Yin only visit her just for sex... Sara beg Yin to attend her graduation day, while arriving at the university, Yin saw Sara talking to the younger guy and angrily left without Sara noticing, But actually during that time Sara was rejecting the guy and saying that she has a boyfriend whom she love very much. Sara is not happy that Yin did not attend and confronted with him and argument happens...

Sara started her working adult life as a reporter. Year later, she was attached with Raymond but found out he betrayed her on work. Angrily, Sara flew to Chiangmai by herself and met Dok-My who is a prostitute. Sara pity Dok-My and paid her some money for telling her story so that Sara can write an article on it. Sara was surprised when Yin came to look for her but ends up telling her that he is on the final stage of cancer and ask her not to attend his funeral because others might discover their relationship and hurt her instead. Feeling sad on the news but happy to know that Yin still loves her and care about her, she attends Yin's funeral in the end.

Dok-My went to look for Sara in her hotel and realize she has cut her wrist and soaked inside the bath tub. Dok-My safe Sara by getting her to hospital and both girls bond closer to each other. Sara tried to buy Dok-My from the gangster but ends up running from getting kill.  Raymond came all the way from Hong Kong to get Sara back, Sara bid goodbye to Dok-My and received a kiss from Dok-My. Sara proposed her points to the magazine director in writing an article of prostitution and get full support on it. Wah came looking for Sara and tell her that May will be passed away soon. Sara went hospital to look for May; May apologize for not being a good mother and did not protect her during the rape. Sara forgive her and May finally close her eyes forever...

Sara went back to Chiangmai to look for Dok-My but she was no where to be found. Missing Dok-My, Sara went to Dok-My's hometown in Maesai and realized there's a lot of young girls who will be facing the same destiny like her and Dok-My...

A good movie and first time ever, Charlene shows that she can act. Frankly speaking, I ain't saint, main motive of watching this movie in the first place is for the sex scenes of Charlene & Simon, coz i heard that its damn hot. Well, the sex scenes are ok, but just that it might be Charlene's first time, but it is nothing too spicy about; but the storyline is great as the story was written by 李敏 Erica Li, a famous HK novelist. This movie also won both Charlene & Simon as the best actress/actor in Macau International Movie Festival.

 Story: 

Literature graduate Wyman Chan writes erotic stories in the soft porn section of the newspaper for a living, but with the soft porn section ceasing publication, he loses his job. The unemployed Chan becomes capricious, and takes inspiration from men working in the Japanese adult video (AV) industry to become a producer of pornographic films. Chan's idea immediately receives enthusiastic responses from his friends, who offer their help—especially Hatoyama, who is familiar with the Japanese porn industry. While everyone initially takes great interest in being a part of filming, Chan is soon forced into acting in the lead role. Surprisingly, Chan becomes a sensation in Japan for his performance of being sexually harassed and dominated by women in the AV. Hatoyama immediately travels to Hong Kong to persuade Chan to pursue his unrealistic dream—a Hong Kong man entering the Japanese AV industry.

L² Comment:

Even though the title of the movie is exactly the same with in 2003, but beside having some same actors, the story does not link together with this movie. This movie is being produced by Louis Koo himself after 11 years, choosing the same title.

This time, Louis Koo only came out as a guest appearance, Chapman To took over the main character place and once again Josie Ho is the main actress in this movie. Basically the whole movie is talking about the Japanese AV industry,so happy to see so many AV girls and the master Taka Kato in a normal movie which is not xxx. Not bad on this movie, but will Louis Koo considering coming out with a new Naked Ambition soon?

 Story:

Master Kung and Lo Pa are two police officers of White Horse City, who have high skills but are underused. A robbery happened at the city's richest man Ho Pak Man's home where his whole family was killed and their family treasure the "White Jade Goddess of Mercy" was stolen and the "Police God" Tit Mo Ching investigates the case. Kung and Lo Pa cannot participate because of their low status.

Coincidentally, Master Kung and Lo Pa arrest a pair of twin sisters, Water Dragon Girl and Fire Dragon Girl, who always pretend to catch wanted criminals to get monetary rewards. The twin sisters know that the "White Jade Goddess of Mercy" would be brought to the "Treasure Inn" for an auction. Wanting to hit big, Master Kung and Lo Pa go to the "Treasure Inn" with the twin sisters to investigate the truth. During that time, Master Kung and Water Dragon Girl become lovers from a kiss.

This is a one-shot-off movie for me, which means i will never rewatch it no matter how. The first impression is "idiot" from the title of this movie, the storyline is something similar like the dragon inn movie~ Same as a lot of Wang Jing's movie, it is as ridiculous as it would be~

All About Love 再說一次我愛你

 Ko is a hard working doctor who has little time to spend with his wife. When she dies in a car accident her heart is given to another woman, Tse Yuen Sam. Ko later changes careers and becomes a paramedic. One night while on call in an ambulance, Ko attends a traffic accident involving Sam. He discovers she is the recipient of his wife's heart and that her husband Derek (also played by Lau) has left her. Ko decides to use their resemblance as a means of making amends for both his and Derek's treatment of their wives.

L² Comment:

Its a confusing story which Andy Lau acted as 2 characters in the same film. One as a doctor and another one as a designer. The movie didn't stated it out clearly and make me scratching my head and try to figure what the heck has been happening until the 2 Andy Lau appeared in the hospital when Charlie passed away.

But beside the confusing part, this is a sad romance film which reminds me of someone. I think we should really appreciate those who are with us right now~ all da best to everyone...

The Sorcerer & The White Snake 白蛇传说

Story:

Bai & Qing are both snake who came to the human world. Bai fell in love with Xian who's a good hearted guy who helps others as a doctor. Bai even saved Xian who drowned in the Xi Lake which make Xian can't forget her.

Hai is a monk who defeated a lot of devil including the snow devil. Ren is Hai's student who is very innocent but he was beaten by the vampire on an event. Ren makes friend with Qing who taught him how to live as a devil. Xian and Bai met again and both of them get marry with the help of other jungle's devils. But when Hai came with other monks, they flee. When Hai almost vanish Qing, Ren came to help which makes Hai realize Ren has become a devil too.

Bai drank the wine from Xian which is tricked by Hai to make her appeared in the snake form, Hai came and try to defeat her but she managed to swim away and this scare Xian. But the power of love makes Xian went through all his way to Lei Feng temple to get the magical grass to cure Bai. But stealing the magical grass caused all the devils released from the temple and went into Xian's body. To save Xian, Hai has to gather all monks in the temple and cleanse his sole. But Bai and Qing thought Hai purposely capture Xian and both of them use the water of Xi Lake to drowned the Jin Shan temple. This has caused a lot of sacrifice of human beings. Hai has to used Lei Feng temple to captured Bai in the end.

L² Comment:

I would not say this is not good, but of course i still prefer the old version by Joey Wang & Maggie Cheung. Jet Li might be as good as Zhao Wen Zhuo, but Eva Huang & Charlene Choy definitely not up to the beat of the two older diva :)

The whole movie used up a lot of special effect which is a good thing. It creates a good effect especially the part when Jet Li fight against Vivian Hsu. But the only fake part will be Charlene's luxurious boobs~ lol... i almost laugh out hard when i see her boobs in green snake scale. She's almost as flat as Sammi Cheng now due to her skinny issue, but the graphic guy sure must have treat her well to give her a nice boob in this movie :P

Story:

3 thief partners, Bao the driver who is the sifu for both Tuo & Tong. Bao has to take care of his wife who is mentally ill after their son passed away. And Bao's eyesight is getting bad, he hopes that he can save more money for the rest of their life. But one day, a thief broke in and stole all his money away.

Tuo is a gambler, he used all the money to gamble and cause his family to be ashame when the shark loan came for the money. Tong is a playboy who left his wife Yen aside when she's pregnant, and fool around with other woman. Soon three of them gather again to look for money again.

Calvin and Min's son has been order to be kidnap, little Matthew. It is because Min's ex boyfriend Max went crazy and try to steal the child away, but accidentally fell down and die. Max's rich father gave the order to the tree gang to get Matthew. On their journey, car crash and Bao was arrested by police. When Bao discover how valuable Matthew is in the jail, he call Tuo and Tong to take care of the baby first before he go out from the jail.

Tuo and Tong, both man face a lots of problem when taking care of the baby. They even went for classes. Tuo met Melody, a kind hearted nurse and both of them fall in love. But the chase of Max's father continue. When Bao is out of jail, they were forced to send the baby back. But Max's father later realize the baby does not belongs to Max and try to kill him and freeze him. Tuo and Tong fight their way to save the baby.

Luckily the baby can be save in the hospital and three of them were put in jail. Things turn out to be great when they are in jail.

Jackie Chan's movie always full of action and comedy, a movie that will never fail us from laughing and getting excited. Well, a combination of Jackie + Louis + Michael is a brand new team~ hopefully they will get more chance to work together...

And Baby Matthew is so damn cute and adorable... wonder how he will looks like when he grow up...

Hot Summer Days 全城熱戀

Story:

Weather in this earth started to get worst, everywhere is so hot. Under the hot weather, hot and spicy love/relationships happened. In HongKong, Wai is a mechanic and he loves riding. One day he met DingDong who helps everybody but herself has been attack by cancer.

Wah, a driver who wrongly send a sms to Yan in Shenzhen. Both of them lie to each other. Wah said that he's a Ferrari racer while Yan said she's a pianist. Under the arrangement of Wah's daughter, Wah bought Yan an airconditioner and both of them realize the truth behind. Feeling good of each other, they fall in love.

Wasabi falled in love with a sushi master, and decided to make this cool man laugh. But she was rejected, feeling angry, she decided to only see him after he called and make the numbers enough for a love. The sushi master met a crying woman (maggie cheung) in his shop and realize what love should be. He decided to make a special meal for Wasabi according to her recipe. She came and both of them get together.

20 years ago, Fang make a bet with his boss that he will tackled the beautiful Kei. Kei said that if Fang managed to stand and wait for her under the hot sun for 100 days, she will become his girlfriend. But one day, Fang saw a rich man went after her and gave up. Kei chased him till train station, but Fang never appeared.

20 years later, now, Fang's son Fu, the assistant of a photographer Leslie, falled in love with a supermodel Yuan that once has been humiliated by Leslie as not a potential model. And at the night when DingDong almost died, Wai fetched her out in his motorcycle and never stop down again as all the lights in Hong Kong city deemed down.

2010 valentines has came out with 2 love movie casted multiple celebrities, Hot Summer Days & Valentines from US. But quite yawning at this HK movie. First of all, the language that they speak, cantonese and mandarin has been mixed up like rojak.

The only part that i like would be the love story between Jacky Cheung and Rene Liu, the rest will be quite ok only. And oh, Angelababy's look in this film, i really 接受不到咯 ...

Twins Mission 雙子神偷

Story:

Xiang and Xi are sending back the Buddhist Tian Chu to Lama, but they were robbed on their way during a transition in a train. The attackers are 2 pairs of twins. They realize the attackers are from the Twins Mission Gang. Xi went to ask help from Chung.

Chung is from the twins mission too, he has an evil twins Yung who is incharging of the bad twins to steal the Tian Chu. Yung is using professor Mok to threatened Yao for a property contract. They told Yao that her ill sister Happy need the Tian Chu to cure the cancer, but in order for exchange, Yao needs to sign the contract.

Chung need to ask help from his previous students, Bao & Zhen, Marco & Polo, Cat & Dog to help Xi who has lost his own twins, San. In the meanwhile, Tian Chu was left at Fred's flee market shop. Fred was incharge to take care of it. Bao & Zhen arrived in the same time with evil twins and everyone fighting to grab the Tian chu away in the flee market. The last person who got the Tian Chu is Xi, but he accidentally pass it to Yung who pretended to be Chung.

Professor Mok continue to threaten Yao on Happy's illness. All twins went into the Mok Building and fought on it. Xiang also appeared to help out. Finally Yung fall out of the tall building and Happy & Yao are save. But the Tian Chu is still missing in action...

L² Comment:

The movie ends with a cliffhanger, showing that a part 2 will be coming soon. But i believe the production team has stop it due to Gillian Chung's sex scandal photo with Edison Chen on beginning year of 2008.

This film has used up 5 pairs of real twins siblings which is very awesome. Part of this movie which i love the most is when the twins are chasing each other in the flee market and fighting with martial arts... cool :)

Sammo Hung and Yuen Hua still keep up their standard as the kung fu master. If they were 20 years younger and more good looking, they will be as popular as Donnie Yen now.

Beauty on Duty 美麗密令

Story:

Fang as the rookie in the police station, her father inspector Chung wants her to marry to a rich guy. Therefore, he chose the best policeman Dan to work with Fang on their beat. Dan will be transferring to SWAT after this due to his good work. On the other hand, Madam Tie is happy to met her first love Lok Sir.

On the last day of Dan & first day of patrol for Fang, they managed to caught the witness, fatty wai with Madam Tie & Lok Sir. Fatty Wai found out his daughter is participating the Ms Pageant, he wants the police to protect her till the pageant end for the exchange to become the witness on suing Mr Wong. Therefore, Fang, Tie, Lok, Dan are send to become spy to protect the innocent June.

During the protection, Fang has to portrait as one of the candidate for Ms pageant while Tie become the management team for the competition. Besides that, Lok & Dan become 2 gay guys who work as the stylist and make-up artist. Fang become friend with June but was attracted to the handsome singer Jerry. Fang and Jerry falled in love with each other and June was jealous about it. Mr wong send out his gang to kidnap June but always fail until the day before the finale.

June and Inspector Chung was caught by Mr Wong and gang but luckily Dan, Fang, Tie & Lok went over for rescue. In the end, June managed to get the 1st runner up in the competition. Tie & Lok decided to get marry, Dan happily got his SWAT work again, Inspector Chung got a promotion while Fang was send to become the host for police tv program.

The movie ended with Fang accept to become Dan's girlfriend.

L² Comment:

It was a fun movie by Wong Jing as usual. This time, a lil' mix & match of China & HK artist do makes a good piece of work. Love Sandra Ng new hair, so short yet trendy. William as the hip hop singer aka dancer is very stunning, but too bad, the thick make-up can't cover his acne forehead. China actress Nana is too over-act, a big failure in this movie.

Overall, if you wanna have a good laugh, just go for it. A HK version of Ms Congeniality.
