 Story:

Sam is an ex tiger cubs and he get into gangster after his brother was killed. To investigate his brother death, Sam met up with Eva, his ex girlfriend for help to find the murderer Ice. Man as an intelligent police officer trace Sam and wish to arrest him. Man's daughter accidentally discover the hideout and was caught by Sam and later on caught by Ice. Finally in a gun fight, Sam was killed but he is happy to finally meet Man.

If by reading the chinese title, it is not really related to the movie. The storyline is not exciting and the few actresses seriously need to improve their acting skill~ Just depends on Simon and Michael is not enough to save this movie from disaster~

Story:

3 unemployed guys are working hard to look for job. Dee has a son, his ex wife Mun has become the leader of gangster; Blue want to marry Fiona, but would have to earn HKD500m for Fiona's parents; Sau is the son of a rich guy who has fantasy with Samantha Ko.

Maggie is Fiona's father's ex girlfriend, she came back to Hong Kong from USA. Maggie brought over a team of wrestler to fight with the 3 guys. Three of them was tricked by Fiona's father to sign the contract, they learn the tactics of wrestling for the fight. In the end, they won the fight and all of them live happily ever after.

Though this is a TVB production, but it doesn't really as good as their drama. The storyline is still ok, predictable. Laughing point is not bad, but kinda familiar, which is not a good thing. One thing TVB like to do is, to let all their actors & actresses to involve in the film they produce. Lol, they really know how to promote...

Story:

30 years ago, Shun & Long are brothers. Both of them fall in love with the twins who own a bread shop. Though so, Shun has a girlfriend Jane while Long has a girlfriend Pauline. Pauline has won the Ms HongKong and decided to left. Jane too left one day without informing others.

30 years later, Shun has married and have 3 children of his own. But due to his failure in his business, he went back to the apartment to stay with his father Tong. Shun's son Ming has a girlfriend Nicki, but Ming as a officer arrested Nicki's father Mei one day. But Mei finally forgot him when he knows Ming is a good guy. Shun's daughter Zhi is a model wanna be. But due to her not so good potential, she failed. But she met a good guy Deng who fall in love with her.

Long came back one day and be friend with everyone again. Long and Shun passed by the twins bread shop and decided to meet their first love but in the end saw two big size scary woman. They ran away and in the playground, Long told Shun that Jane has came back. Shun met Jane, still as beautiful as ever. Jane and Shun try to avoid Shun's wife to misunderstood and created a lot of laughter. Shun's wife went to work to help her family and make a fool of herself in the shopping mall. She jumped her way back after being wrapped up. Her funny look has make a good attention in the country, she use this to help Shun to sell off his toys.

Long suggested all of the neighbor to invest in shop lots. When everyone trusted Long and took out their money, Long was gone. Shun and others believe Long has stole the money just like 30 years ago. But Jane told the truth, 30 years ago, Long took the money and help her instead. Finally Long is back and inform everyone that he has solved the problem and the neighbor got to own their own shops in the end.

L² Comment:

This should be the only Chinese New Year movie i watch in the cinema. Love the comedy, the story is good, actors & actresses are good, love Tony Leong, love Sandra Ng, love Eric Tsang and of coz Anita Yuen, Aarif Rahman, Fala Chen and many others more.

Love the most is when Louis Yuen & Michelle Lu act as the old version of Kate Tsui & Joyce Cheng. It is so funny that me and Julius laugh non stop in the cinema ~ lol.. A movie not to be missed~

Story:

During the 60's, the 72 tenants were being bullied by Beng and his wife, Aunty Three. During one morning, Shanghai Fatty has broken the water pipe shared by everyone, Aunty Three got pissed off and force everyone to pay their rental before she released any water. No matter how other tenants debate, Beng & Aunty Three thought of an evil ideal to marry their foster daughther, Pinky to the police officer so that they can live in a rich life.

Ha & Sek both love Pinky, together with the help of others tenants, they managed to safe Pinky from the marriage and the evil parents was put into jail which cause their own daughter Paulina to hold grudge. After this, both Ha & Sek used trick to win over Pinky and finally Ha won and married Pinky. 40 years later, both Ha & Sek has opened their own handphone shop across each other and they always fight for business.

Jade (Sek's daughter) as an assistant director of Japan Porno came back and met Junior (Ha's son). Both of them fall in love immediately. In the meanwhile, Sek has been going to the hooker, Hong place all these year but not to have sex, just to watch Pinky over the block from Hong's toilet. Hong told him that she's moving back to China to become a headmaster which she has been building the school of. Feeling guilty for that, Hong told him that the soup Sek has been drinking all these while are boiled by Pinky.

The street has been happening a lot of problem. People are throwing acid from top floor. In the meanwhile, a big owner is gonna raise everybody's rental and if they cannot pay it they have to move away. Luckily, Junior & Kinny (Sek's son) came out with good idea to renovate the whole place into a better commercial place. But they have to found out who's the one who's throwing the acid. After the throwing of acid, Kinny bump into Honey (Ha's daughter) and fall in love while visiting the hospital for their sibblings.

Sek thought he has teostorant cancer but in the end turn out to be a mistake. But Ha thought he has it and agree to let Pinky have dinner with him. But Pinky got pissed off and ran away after Ha got jealous and speak something inproper. While Pinky ran away, she was kidnap by someone. Everybody went for rescue and discover that the kidnapper is Paulina who has grown up. Paulina wanna take revenge and killed Pinky with acid but finally was arrested by Laughing. And the 2 guys have safe Pinky again.

Finally, everybody lives happily ever after.

L² Comment:

Overall the movie is ok, the story is simple but too much celebrities make a mess. The story keep on showing these various artist instead of their act. I kinda like Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) & Joyce Cheng (鄭欣宜) performance. Bernice's character is very funny with her bulky bodyshape and her big teeth sticking out from her mouth; whereas Joyce took over the character which her mother (Lydia Sum) has acted before in 1973.
