 Story:

Yau is a policeman and his wife, Lai left him and went to travel alone. Yau has to work with new partner Ru. A fat policewoman who smoke non stop and just get dump by her doctor fiancee. Both Yau & Ru needs to pretend as a couple and investigate Cheung who is a killer. Just as when both of them starting to fall for each other, Lai appeared and hope to get back with Yau. A quarrel has cause Cheung to get his motive to kill Yau...

OMG OMG!!! I know Michael Chow is good, but i never guess that it is so juicy, yummy... He might not be that popular during the 90's but he is definitely not bad looking. Hmmm, i wonder if he ever acted in any of the HK erotic movie or not, lol~

 Story: 

 Ho moved into an old building and into a haunted unit which a twins sisters kill a rapist (husband of Feng) and suicide. The twins' spirit wanted to have Ho as replacement but couldn't make it after Yao safe him. In another hand, old couple Mui & Dong live in the same building too and Dong slip and fall from staircase and cause the bad ghost master to cheat Mui and turn Dong into a living dead.

The twins' spirit went into Dong's corpse and try to fight against Yao & Ho, but luckily they were defeated in the end. Everything changed and nothing seems to be happened before...

L² Comment:

Its been such a long time that HK havent come out with any chinese vampire movie ever since Lam Zheng Ying passed away. This movie was originally written for Ricky Hui, but Ricky passed away before the script even finish, therefore, Ho as Zheng Ying & Ricky old partner was chosen to be the main actor.

The Trail 追鬼七雄

 Story:

A couple was aim by the rich man in a village, to get the beautiful wife, the rich man killed the husband and request a team (7 person) to send the corpse away. But the corpse drop into the quicksand and became evil for revenge. The 7 trail along the devil and try to vanish it, but one by one they all sacrifice and left the leader and Ying. The rich man wanted to sacrifice them two but was killed by the evil instead.

I remember i watched this movie before when i was very young and it freaked me out, it still do this time but not that scary anymore as i have known the storyline. 

3 Days of A Blind Girl 盲女72小時

 Story:

Heong was temporary blind for 72 hours after her eyes surgery, her husband has to left her for outstation work for these 3 days as well. Psycho Sam came for his wife revenge. He pretended as Sam's friend and get close to Heong and kidnap the servant in the meantime. Heong discovered Sam's intention and try to escape.

 

But the blind girl can't defeat the crazy man and live her life in fear for these 3 days. Finally her eyesight came back and she managed to kill Sam.

L² Comment:

Even though this is rated as III in HK blockbuster, but for me the storyline buys me, and i love the whole movie quite well. Beside got to see Veronica's nice body, the whole movie bring out the spookiness and you may feel the fear and helpless feeling the heroin is having. Not a bad movie, i might watch it again if i'm in the mood :) 

100 Ways To Murder Your Wife 殺妻2人組

 Story:

Roberto is the star of Hong Kong football team while Fatt represent the Malaysia's team. Roberto has a fierce wife Anita who is a fashion designer but she always control Roberto like a kid without any freedom. Fatt in another hand married with Ms Malaysia Xian who is so attractive that Fatt is worry everyday that Xian will sleep with any of his team mate.

 

Fatt thought Xian is going to poison him; in a gathering of 2 footballs team, Fatt was drunk together with Roberto who is just humiliated by Anita. Both of them come to an agreement of killing each other wife. Fatt went to find Anita and thought he killed her, but actually he fainted and Anita storm away from the house. After that Fatt keeps pushing Roberto to kill Xian, but he was suspicious that Roberto falls for Xian instead of wanting to kill her.

 

When the truth reveals, Anita and Xian both gets disapointed and left their husband. Roberto and Fatt chased along and managed to win back their wifes when they are trap in the hot baloon.

Well, it was funny when i watched it back 20 years ago, but now it seems a bit stupid. The storyline is simple and there are no connection between the 4 of them, just feel like they appeared is for the movie, that's all~

When Fortune Smiles 無敵幸運星

Story:

Chou is angry on his father for not giving him even a penny on his will. All the money is arrange to give to his sister Fei Fei who's coming back from France soon. Chou force his father to change his will but his uncle came and shoo him away.

The uncle's son, Yee also planned to take a glance on the wealth. Chou arrange Rubbish Feng to pretend as his sister while Yee find Vincent to steal the will. Unable to work by himself, Vincent find Wong to work with him. But the mission failed, Vincent pretend to know Fei Fei (fake) by mistake. Feng forced to pretend too. And later on, both of them know each others are fake and they still willing to love each other and continue on this.

Chou buy over all Yee's gangster and betrayed Yee and his father. They are trapped in the fire, but luckily Chou's wife hint them the way to escape. Finally, Vincent and Wong managed to take down Chou and sent him to police.

Feng went back to her life as a rubbish collector, but Vincent still love her as always.

L² Comment:

A very good comedy to laugh on Saturday night if you're not going anywhere, but just sit along with the one you love. Making it on top 10 in Hong Kong box office during 1990, one of Stephen Chow's hit movie that i love.

This time Stephen teamed up with his 2 favorite partners: Sandra from the cinema screen and Miu Siu Wai from his various TVB partner. Though Miu Siu Wai doesn't have much scene here, but enough to make u laugh out loud :)
