I haven't watch the 02:00AM, but seriously, i don't really like this 3rd and final one... First story is still ok, a bit predicatble and not scary, except the toilet part... Second story is the one i like among all 3, but scary wise is also not as good as the previous... Third story is the worst... gosh~ No wonder there is no 04:00AM after this... :P

 Story:

In a peaceful village lead by Madam, the villagers are honest and sincere. But when come the new government Dai, he plans to destroy the peaceful of the village just to get more money for himself. Together with his brother Gui, they both created a lot of disaster and even challenge Madam on this.

Madam's niece, Yun met another brother of Dai, Xiang. She mistaken him as an angel and fall deeply in love with him. In the same time, lovely couple Dup and Heong are down to earth while Gao try her best to find her dream man which in the end turn out to be Dai.

Even though Dai & Gui manage to destroy the peaceful of the village, but quickly they realize they are wrong and together with Xiang, they manage the village well and with happiness.

One of the Chinese New Year movie in 1998, i have watched it a few times before, but decided to rewatch it again as i kinda miss Jacklyn Wu lately. She has left the acting industry and own her own company now. This should be the only movie she acted with Leslie Cheung, kinda funny. Overall its still ok, but not gonna watch it again so fast... maybe few years later~

 Story:

Bruce Lee, My Brother is a dramatic biopic of the eponymous martial arts legend as told by his younger brother, Robert Lee. Based directly from the book "Memories of Lee Siu Loong", which is authored by Lee's siblings (Phoebe, Robert, Agnes and Peter),[3][4] it revolves around Bruce Lee's life as a rebellious adolescent in Hong Kong before he sets off for the USA and conquers the world at the age of 18 with only US$102 in his pocket.

As a young man, Bruce grew up in an affluent family. Entering the film industry at an early age, he gained fame as a child actor. Outside the home and studio, he was rebellious; he spent time engaging in street fights, dancing with lady friends, and hanging with his buddies, Kong and Unicorn, the latter a fellow child actor who would later appear in Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon. Invincible as he is as a street fighter, Bruce's romantic escapades are not as smooth and successful. He is head-over-heels in love with Pearl, only to realize his mate Kong shares the same passion. At a cha-cha dancing tournament, Kong tells Bruce his intentions of leaving Pearl so Bruce himself can have her, damaging their friendship. Bruce is unable to come to terms with Kong.

Against his father's wishes, Bruce studies the Wing Chun martial arts style instead of Tai-chi and tastes his first public triumph at a tournament with his kung fu skills. On the eve of his triumph, he learns that Kong has become a drug addict. The same boxer whom Bruce defeated at the ring informs him of his whereabouts. Bruce rumbles the drug lord's den together with Unicorn to rescue Kong, but the drug dealers confront them. Their actions cause a massive chase sequence; although Bruce and his friends survive, Kong would later die from his drug overdose. Bruce himself became the target of both the Triads and corrupted cops who want him in jail.

To save his life, Bruce's father has no choice but to send him off to San Francisco.

Based on the real story of legendary Bruce Lee before he goes Hollywood. Aarif Rahman has the figure and body which is similar like Bruce, but maybe too pretty haha~ The whole story is a bit dull for me & Jennifer Tse is so fucking boring, she's like a blow doll with no expression on her face at all... The only suprise for me is Christy Chung, i can't find a single sexyness of hers in the movie, is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Love In A Puff 志明與春嬌

 Story:

Since 2007, the Hong Kong government banned smoking in all indoor areas, causing smokers from neighboring buildings to gather for cigarette breaks during office hours at trash bins with ashtrays near their work premises. The regulars started sharing small talks and dirty jokes like friends at a hot pot dinner and this community became known as the "Hot Pot Pack".

Jimmy is an advertising executive who befriended Cherie, a cosmetic sales girl, at a "Hot Pot Pack" shortly after Jimmy broke up with his girlfriend who cheated on him. Cherie's flirting with Jimmy during their cigarette breaks, through text messages and excursions at night eventually led to Cherie's break up with her lived-in boyfriend. This sudden change in their relationship, including a failed one night stand at a love motel, caused them to confront the change in their relationship and consider whether they are viewing each other as love interests or just a companion during lonely nights.

A very hit romantic movie in 2010, which helps Miriam Yeung to be nominated as Best Actress in HK academy awards. The whole film is simple and love how the speedy love build up among the Hongkies in such a modern life. I can't wait to see the second movie, who has it?

 Story:

 SK is a rich guy and was always protected by his mother. One day he was kidnapped but was safe by Shi and her father Xiu. Xiu was eyeing at SK's property while Shi really love SK. Mrs To discovered their relationship and inform Shi that if she was able to win Ying on her cooking, she will let them get together.

Xiu brought Shi to learn cooking technique from Xia, Xiu's ex girlfriend, who is a famous chef now. Shi returned later to challenge Ying and finally won the challenge. SK & Shi was happily ever after.

This is such a stupid show, no meaning and not funny.The acting of every actors & actresses are bad, including Charmaine, Hackkan, YuenQiu & Wang Jing. The 3 marks i gave is for Bonnie Wong who at least know how to act in this movie...

Story:

David is stress out from his work as a doctor and was depress after his beloved mother passed away. He met Cindy in a bad and have sex with her. 2 man fall from tall building, Detective Cheung went for investigating and discover these 2 man is his long lost friends.

Actually, Detective Cheung, David, Cindy and the 4 other man are best friend. The 4 guys rape Cindy in one event and killed her and buried her behind a brick wall. Cindy was back for revenge which include David & Detective Cheung. David and Detective Cheung went back to the scene and discover Cindy's corpse. The spirit came out and explained her reason for revenge.

In the meanwhile, David thought his wife is fooling around with his friend, but actually the wife has already passed away. Her spirit is back just to take care of David.

The title of this movie attracted my attention, but the movie is lame. The pace is slow and the scene is not scary/horrible. Just a plain boring horror movie, yawn~

Story:

Jet is a handsome gay hustler whose sex appeal seems to know no bounds. Everyone wants to make love to him, but he is in love with no one but himself. Things change drastically when he notices what seems like a young couple in a shop, Sam and Kana. At first sight, he falls in love with Sam and begins following the two around.

Jet's friend Ching, who is also a hustler, runs a personal in a gay magazine for Jet, imploring Sam to contact Jet. At first, Jet is angry with Ching for not asking him, but his wrath subsides quickly when indeed he meets Sam again in what seems like a chance encounter, but actually is an outcome of the personal. Sam turns out to be a police officer and Jet starts to befriend Sam, hoping this will turn into a relationship. But Sam does not seem to notice Jet's intentions towards him.

Unbeknownst to Jet, Sam had a homosexual affair with pop star Kingsly aka K.S. five years earlier. At the same time, Ching had been in unrequited love with Sam (then calling himself Fai) when the two were still office workers. Ching comes to his apartment shared with Jet when Jet and Sam are there, instantly recognizes Sam as Fai and is furious with Jet for stealing his beloved.

Jet cannot stop himself from loving Sam and went to look for Sam. Both of them kiss and nearly make love but was found out by Sam's father. Sam feel embarrass and suicide himself by jumping down from a building. Jet feel sad until one day he received a letter from Kana. The letter was written by Sam. Sam told Jet in the letter that he loves Jet, and from that onwards Jet can sleep well because he was beloved by Sam before.

This movie was casted by a group of good looking man including Daniel Wu, Stephen Fung, Jason Tsang & Terence Yin. Such a waste that they dont have any naked scene huh? Bridgette as narrator is the best ever :)

Forbidden City Cop 大內密探零零發

Story:

00 Fatt is under the special cop for the forbidden city. He together with 00 Kong, 00 Hei & 00 Choy is in one team serving the emperor for security problem. 00 Fatt worked as a doctor for woman illness. But 00 Fatt doesn't know any martial art which is the reason why he is shoo away by the emperor.

Ling as 00 Fatt wife is always gentle and soft, she listen everything to her husband. But 00 fatt who is only good in inventory is unable to tell his wife about this secret society which protect the emperor. All doctors are invited to a dissection of alien. The emperor went but suddenly was attacked by the evil gang. 00 Kong, 00 Hei & 00 Choy was killed and the emperor was caught. 00 fatt brought Ling over as well. During the dissection, a lot of doctors were killed, and they discover that the emperor was there too. 00 fatt used his inventories to save everybody including the emperor.

The emperor took 00 fatt back to the forbidden city again. He was gave a mission together with Yan to buy over the famous hooker Kam. Kam was a foreigner and very sexy and exotic. 00 Fatt almost fall for her too, but later discover she's pretended by one of the evil gang too. The evil is too strong and nobody can defeat her. Luckily a fake woman (emperor's spy) appeared and beat down the evil.

00 Fatt is very happy with his inventory and live happily together with Ling.

L² Comment:

Continuous 2 films from Stephen Chow, this one is not as fantastic as "When Fortune Smiles". Though it is on top 3 of the Hong Kong Box Office, but the comedy is too lame. Not everything u can really laugh on. Basically the 2 actresses Carina and Carman is not good for comedy if compare to Sandra & Miu Siu Wai.

The storyline is kinda empty as well. Its ok, but definitely not gonna watch it again.

Beauty on Duty 美麗密令

Story:

Fang as the rookie in the police station, her father inspector Chung wants her to marry to a rich guy. Therefore, he chose the best policeman Dan to work with Fang on their beat. Dan will be transferring to SWAT after this due to his good work. On the other hand, Madam Tie is happy to met her first love Lok Sir.

On the last day of Dan & first day of patrol for Fang, they managed to caught the witness, fatty wai with Madam Tie & Lok Sir. Fatty Wai found out his daughter is participating the Ms Pageant, he wants the police to protect her till the pageant end for the exchange to become the witness on suing Mr Wong. Therefore, Fang, Tie, Lok, Dan are send to become spy to protect the innocent June.

During the protection, Fang has to portrait as one of the candidate for Ms pageant while Tie become the management team for the competition. Besides that, Lok & Dan become 2 gay guys who work as the stylist and make-up artist. Fang become friend with June but was attracted to the handsome singer Jerry. Fang and Jerry falled in love with each other and June was jealous about it. Mr wong send out his gang to kidnap June but always fail until the day before the finale.

June and Inspector Chung was caught by Mr Wong and gang but luckily Dan, Fang, Tie & Lok went over for rescue. In the end, June managed to get the 1st runner up in the competition. Tie & Lok decided to get marry, Dan happily got his SWAT work again, Inspector Chung got a promotion while Fang was send to become the host for police tv program.

The movie ended with Fang accept to become Dan's girlfriend.

L² Comment:

It was a fun movie by Wong Jing as usual. This time, a lil' mix & match of China & HK artist do makes a good piece of work. Love Sandra Ng new hair, so short yet trendy. William as the hip hop singer aka dancer is very stunning, but too bad, the thick make-up can't cover his acne forehead. China actress Nana is too over-act, a big failure in this movie.

Overall, if you wanna have a good laugh, just go for it. A HK version of Ms Congeniality.
