Story:10 years ago, few teenagers went swimming but tragedy happened. Jamie was fooled by them and drown in the lake. To prevent from getting arrested, each of them use a rock to smash Jamie's head and claimed to police that Jamie knocked his own head when he dive into the water.
Katherine who did not wanted to do it at first but later on go along with the rest. She left to big city to work as a reporter. Due to work, Katherine was sent back to do an interview regarding the mothman. Beside Derek (Katherine's high school's date), the rest don't really seems to welcome her back. On a night, Jared was attacked by the mothman at his silver car and died.
Later on in a bar, Richard was killed by mothman which appeared through mirror. The mothman later on try to attack Sally, but she ran to her car and drove off. On the highway, mothman appeared in the windshield screen and slash Sally alive. Katherine went to seek advice from Frank, an old blind guy while at the same time the mothman attacked Mindy in her saloon.
Frank told Katherine that the rest of them has to use knifes to cut their chest and use the blood to drop on the dust which mothman stay. Katherine, Derek & Casey did that but still failed. Mothman climb out to attack and get Casey. Katherine & Derek went back to Frank, but Frank locked them up in a cell and went to the town by himself. Mothman attack Katherine & Derek in the cell, but they were save by Casey who they thought he has died.
3 of them went to the town and realize mothman is attacking the city, it has killed a lot of people including Frank. Casey also being stab to death after saving Katherine. Katherine used the knife with blood (Blood of Katherine, Derek & Casey) to stab the mothman and vanished it. The mothman disapeared and become multiple of moth and flew away. Derek was sent to hospital, Katherine went to visit.
Derek shout crazily when he found that Katherine's eye become red and involved into the mothman.

The beginning of the movie is quite good, but as it goes along, i found that the storyline is kinda boring. Not that the actors & actresses are bad, but the story is really predictable and kinda laggy. Though this is based on a real legendary creature, but please... make it more interesting next time.... :P
