 Story:
After imprisoning the Titans beneath the ocean, the Greek gods gather to Mount Olympus for Zeus, and his wife Hera have a son named Hercules. While the other gods are joyful, Zeus' jealous brother Hades plots to overthrow Zeus and rule Mount Olympus. Turning to the Fates for help, Hades learns that in eighteen years, a planetary alignment will allow Hades to locate and free the Titans to conquer Olympus, but only if Hercules does not interfere. Hades sends his minions Pain and Panic to dispose of Hercules. The two succeed at kidnapping and feeding him a formula that turns him mortal, but fail to remove his superhuman strength before Hercules is found and adopted by the farmers Amphitryon and Alcmene.

Years later, the teenaged Hercules becomes an outcast due to his strength, and wonders where he came from. After his foster parents reveal the necklace they found him with, Hercules decides to visit the temple of Zeus for answers. The temple's statue of Zeus comes to life and reveals all to Hercules, telling him that he can regain his godhood by becoming a "true hero". Zeus sends Hercules and his forgotten infant-hood friend Pegasus to find the satyr Philoctetes—"Phil" for short—who is known for training heroes. The two meet Phil, who has retired from training heroes due to numerous disappointments, but Hercules inspires him to follow his dream to train a true hero who will be recognized by the gods. Phil trains Hercules into a potential hero, and when he is older, they fly for Thebes. On the way, they meet Megara—"Meg" for short—a sarcastic damsel whom Hercules saves from the centaur Nessus. However, after Hercules, Phil, and Pegasus leave, Meg is revealed to be Hades' minion, having sold her soul to him to save an unfaithful lover.

Arriving in Thebes, Hercules is turned down by the downtrodden citizens until Meg says that two boys are trapped in a gorge. Hercules saves them, unaware that they are Pain and Panic in disguise, allowing Hades to summon the Hydra to fight Hercules. Hercules continually cuts off its heads, but more heads replace them until Hercules kills the monster by causing a landslide. Hercules is seen as a hero and a celebrity, but Zeus tells Hercules he is not yet a true hero. Driven to depression, Hercules turns to Meg, who is falling in love with him. Hades learns of this and on the eve of his takeover, offers a deal that Hercules gives up his powers for twenty-four hours on the condition that Meg will be unharmed. Hercules accepts, losing his strength, and is heartbroken when Hades reveals that Meg is working for him.

Hades unleashes the Titans who climb Olympus and capture the gods, while a Cyclops goes to Thebes to kill Hercules. Phil inspires Hercules to fight and kill the cyclops, but Meg is crushed by a falling pillar saving Hercules from it, allowing him to regain his strength. Hercules and Pegasus fly to Olympus where they free the gods and launch the Titans into space where they explode, though Meg dies before he returns to her. With Meg's soul now Hades' property, Hercules breaks into the Underworld where he negotiates with Hades to free Meg from the Styx in exchange for his own life. His willingness to sacrifice his life restores his godhood and immortality before the life-draining river can kill him; he rescues Meg and punches Hades into the Styx. After reviving Meg, she and Hercules are summoned to Olympus where Zeus and Hera welcome their son home. However, Hercules chooses to remain on Earth with Meg. Hercules returns to Thebes where he is hailed as a true hero as Zeus creates a picture of Hercules in the stars commemorating his heroism.

You all will be damn surprise that this is the very first time I watch this cartoon hehe~ Though it was quite some years ago, but it is nothing the same with all those classic Disney movie, it is fun to watch with its fast paced and packed with dozens of pop cultures. Drawing wise "Hercules" is also bit different than the Disney's heroes. Of course a lot of new elements were added in to make this myth look more interesting, yet it didn't "wow" me that much...

Wrath of the Titans

 Released Year: 2012
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman

Casted by:
Sam Worthington as Perseus
Rosamund Pike as Andromeda
Bill Nighy as Hephaestus
Édgar Ramírez as Ares
Toby Kebbell as Agenor
Danny Huston as Poseidon
Ralph Fiennes as Hades
Liam Neeson as Zeus
 Story:
Ten years after he defeated The Kraken, Perseus, the demigod son of Zeus, now lives as a fisherman with his 10-year-old son, Heleus. One night, Perseus is visited by Zeus, who tells him that the powers of the gods are fading and the walls of the underworld prison of Tartarus are breaking due to the lack of devotion from humans and states they will need the world's armies to combat the potential threat, but Perseus shows little interest and refuses to get involved. Afterwards, Zeus travels to Tartarus to meet with his brothers Hades and Poseidon, and his son Ares. He tells Hades they must forget the past and unite to rebuild Tartarus, but Hades orders his minions to attack. They severely injure Poseidon, and Ares betrays Zeus over showing Perseus more affection, taking him prisoner and stealing his thunderbolt. Hades and Ares plan to drain Zeus' power to revive Kronos, the father of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon, in exchange for the two to remain immortal. The walls of Tartarus break, unleashing monsters into the world.

After slaying a Chimera that attacks his village, Perseus takes Heleus to the Mount of Idols, so they can speak to Zeus, but the dying Poseidon arrives instead. He informs Perseus that Hades and Ares are holding Zeus in Tartarus, and tells him to meet with his demigod son Agenor to find the fallen god Hephaestus, who knows the way into Tartarus. Poseidon gives Perseus his trident before succumbing to his injuries and crumbling into dust. Perseus flies on Pegasus to the campsite of Queen Andromeda's army. Andromeda has imprisoned Agenor for stealing crown jewels, but Perseus has him released.

Perseus, Andromeda, Agenor, and a group of soldiers set out at sea to find Hephaestus, with Agenor explaining that Hephaestus created the three great weapons that Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon wield: Zeus’ Thunderbolt, Hades' Pitchfork, and Poseidon’s Trident, and that together they form the Spear of Triam, the only weapon that can defeat Kronos. Agenor uses Poseidon's trident to direct the boat to Hephaestus's island, where they encounter three Cyclopes who attack them. When Perseus shows them the trident, they lead the group to Hephaestus, the smith god, stripped of much of his godly power after siding with Hades after he betrayed the Olympians ten years prior. He explains that he has a map to navigate the path into Tartarus. He leads them to the door into the Labyrinth, where they are attacked by Ares after a soldier prayed for him to come. Ares kills most of the soldiers while Hephaestus opens the door. Hephaestus then sacrifices himself so that Perseus, Andromeda, and Agenor can enter the door before it closes.

Agenor tries to use the map to direct them, but the labyrinth continually shifts. Perseus gets cut off from the group and encounters and kills a Minotaur. Eventually, The group reunites at Tartarus. Meanwhile, Zeus has been almost entirely drained of power and close to death as Kronos starts to awaken. Zeus apologizes to Hades and asks his forgiveness as he forgives Hades for his actions. Hades has a change of heart and finally decides to help Zeus and the human army, but Ares intervenes. Perseus arrives and uses the trident to free Zeus. As they are escaping, Ares throws Hades's pitchfork into Zeus's back. Perseus, Andromeda, Agenor and Hades carry a weakened Zeus down to the base of the mountain where Andromeda's army is gathered. Perseus combines the trident and Hades’ pitchfork, but he still needs Zeus's thunderbolt, which Ares still has. Perseus prays to Ares, challenging him to a fight at the Temple of Gods, which Ares accepts.

At the temple, Perseus finds out Ares has kidnapped Heleus, who was brought to watch Perseus die. Ares easily subdues Perseus, but is distracted when Heleus tries to challenge him by pointing a sword at him, giving Perseus the opportunity to subdue him. Perseus then destroys Ares with Zeus's Thunderbolt and combines the gods' weapons into the Spear of Triam. Meanwhile, Andromeda's army is subdued by Kronos' army of Makhai, but a redeemed Hades and a revived Zeus use what power they have left to defeat the army, who have murdered almost all of Andromeda's men. Kronos then appears and starts to destroy them, in which Zeus and Hades defend them and at the same time are giving Perseus the opportunity to fly right down Kronos' throat. Kronos lets out one last blast, and Zeus takes the brunt of the force to protect Hades. Perseus throws the Spear into Kronos' stomach, destroying him once and for all. Perseus meets with Zeus and Hades. Zeus commends Perseus for his courage, stating that the time of the gods is over before turning to dust. Hades is now human, though he states he might be better as one before walking away. Perseus reunites with Andromeda and kisses her. Knowing that there are still Titans to battle, Perseus decides to train Heleus to be a soldier.

L² Comment:
This is much more worth than "Clash of the Titans 2010", first of all, i cannot stand Sam Worthington's ugly hair style; secondly, the storyline is a bit sucks~ i even fall asleep in the cinema. The 3.5 is for all the effect of the movie, and i really hope there is no more sequel to torture us anymore.

Released Year: 2003
Directed by John Kent Harrison

Casted by:
Sienna Guillory as Helen
Matthew Marsden as Paris
Rufus Sewell as Agamemnon
John Rhys-Davies as King Priam of Troy
Maryam d'Abo as Queen Hecuba
Emilia Fox as Cassandra, Princess of Troy
James Callis as Menelaus
Story:
The film begins with the birth of Paris, and Cassandra's prophecy that he would be the cause of Troy's destruction. Worried, his father King Priam leaves him on Mount Ida, where he is found and raised by the shepherd Agelaus. When he is an adult, he judges Aphrodite as the fairest of the three goddesses, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. After awarding her the golden apple she promises him the love of Helen of Sparta, the most beautiful woman in the world.

Meanwhile in Sparta, Helen sees in a pool Paris's judgement, and happily accepts his choice of her love. She later meets the Mycenaean King, Agamemnon, who has come to claim her sister, Clytemnestra, as his bride, but is also immediately taken by her attractiveness. During the wedding, Helen is kidnapped by two Athenians, Theseus, and his friend Pirithous. They take her to Athens, where Helen falls for Theseus, before her brother Pollux raids Athens and kills him. As he is dying, Theseus stabs Pollux. In Sparta, Helen's father Tyndareus rages at his daughter, blaming her for losing his heir. He presents her to the suitors who seek her hand, bidding them to do as they wish.

The suitors draw lots after swearing an oath suggested by clever Odysseus that if anyone disrespect her husband's claims to her, they should unite and wage war against him. Odysseus rules himself and Agamemnon out of the lot, since they are both married. They agree to the oath, and Agamemnon's brother Menelaus wins. Agamemnon is visibly jealous. Shortly after Paris' favorite bull is taken for the Trojan tribute games. Paris insists on competing, despite his father's protests. After winning in every competition and being recognized by his sister Cassandra, Paris is welcomed by an overjoyed Priam to Troy. Cassandra and his elder brother Hector are upset at their father's decision. Paris is sent to Sparta few days later to draw out a peace treaty with the Atreids, Agamemnon and Menelaus. His treaty is refused and Agamemnon plots to have him murdered. While there, however, he gains the love of Helen, and she helps him flee. Together they sail to Troy. When Menelaus finds this out, he demands that his brother launch war on Troy, and the former suitors are gathered to fulfill their oath. But the winds are not in their favor and after a month, a soothsayer reveals that Athena wants Agamemnon to sacrifice his daughter Iphigenia. Agamemnon is horrified, but nevertheless carries out the deed.

Helen and Paris arrive at Troy with the Greek army at their heels. Priam is at first reluctant to allow Helen to remain at Troy, until he sees her. When the Greeks send an embassy of Menelaus and Odysseus to demand Helen's return, Priam refuses, and the Greeks plan an attack. In the morning, the battle is joined on the beach of Troy, with Hector nearly killed by Agamemnon. The battle ends with the Trojan army's crushing defeat and the Greeks camping on the beach. Ten years pass. Agamemnon agrees to end the war with a single combat, between Menelaus and Paris. If Menelaus wins, Helen will be returned. If Menelaus loses, the Trojans may keep her. Whatever the outcome, the Greeks have to leave Troy. Agamemnon cheats, poisoning Menelaus' javelin without telling him. During the duel Paris is cut and the poison disorientates him. Menelaus does not take advantage of him; instead, they stop fighting and make peace between each other as a fog hides them from view. As the fog lifts, Agamemnon's cheating is exposed. Hector challenges Agamemnon to a duel that will end the war—this time, to the death. Achilles takes up the challenge, fighting for Agamemnon, but agrees to fight not for Helen but for his own honor. Achilles easily succeeds in killing Hector.

That night Helen, fearing for Paris's safety, goes to the seer Cassandra and asks to know what she can do to protect Paris. Cassandra replies that her only choice is to give herself to the Greeks. Helen agrees, presenting herself in Agamemnon's tent and offering a trade—her for the body of Hector. Agamemnon refuses, as he does not want his daughter's death to be in vain, and chases her around the camp, but Paris arrives in time to save her, challenging Agamemnon for the safety of Troy. Achilles charges at him, but Paris seizes a bow and shoots Achilles in the heel, killing him. Afterwards the Greeks attack him, but he hides and is reunited with Helen. Shortly thereafter, Agamemnon finds him and stabs Paris in the chest after a quick duel. He dies in Helen's arms, whispering "goddess". During Paris' funeral, the Greeks are reported to have sailed away—leaving a massive wooden horse on the shore. It is taken into the city, and Troy celebrates late into the night. When they are all asleep, the Greeks come out and sack the city, slaying Priam and Hecuba. The great Agamemnon seats himself proudly on Troy's throne as the new Emperor of the Aegean and Ruler of the World. Agamemnon has his men bring Helen to his throne and orders her to kneel at his feet. Agamemnon strokes Helen's hair, then begins to rape her. Menelaus tries to stop him, but is held back by Agamemnon's guards. He orders Agamemnon to leave his wife alone, but his brother pays no mind to his commands and continues to rape Helen.

The next morning, as the Greek soldiers ravage the ruins of Troy of its riches and its people as slaves, Agamemnon's wife arrives in the royal palace of Troy, where she ventures into the royal pool. There, she finds Agamemnon and Helen, both naked. Agamemnon relaxes in triumph, while Helen lies in a corner, not saying a word. She sends Helen away and she is alone with Agamemnon. She tells him she comes for their daughter, Iphigenia. She then throws a net on him and starts to stab him to death. Helen wanders woefully through the ruined city, when she sees a sudden apparition of Paris. She begs him to take her with him to the afterlife, and he tells her he has prepared a place for her, but she must wait until it is her time. He disappears, and Menelaus crosses her path, sword in hand. Helen prepares for punishment, but can do nothing but feel sorry for her. Helen tells him she cannot love him, but she "will follow". The two head back to the Greek ships, ready to live the rest of their lives as King and Queen till the next war.

Immortal 2011

Released Year: 2011
Directed by Tarsem Singh Dhandwar

Casted by:
Henry Cavill as Theseus
Freida Pinto as Phaedra
Mickey Rourke as King Hyperion
Stephen Dorff as Stavros
Luke Evans as Zeus
Isabel Lucas as Athena
Kellan Lutz as Poseidon
Story:
The Heraklion King of Crete, Hyperion, declares war on Olympus after the Gods fail to answer his prayers to save his family from illness, and starts searching for the Epirus Bow, a powerful weapon created by the God of War Ares, which he intends to use to release the Titans from Mount Tartarus and destroy the gods.

Hyperion attacks several holy places in search of the Epirus Bow, and after kidnapping a virgin oracle priestess called Phaedra to help him, advances towards a nearby village, where the young Theseus lives with his mother. Theseus' mother conceived him after being raped, and he is thus considered a bastard and prevented from evacuating the village with its other inhabitants by the soldier Lysander. Theseus defeats him in combat, which he was taught by an old man, and Lysander is discharged by his commanding officer. Infuriated, he offers his services to Hyperion.

The old man is actually Zeus in disguise. He meets with Ares, Poseidon, Athena , Apollo and Heracles, and tells them that they can't directly interfere with the conflict until the Titans are released from Tartarus. Meanwhile, Theseus returns to the village only to discover that Hyperion and his army have already attacked. Hyperion murders Theseus' mother in front of him and sends him to work as a slave in the mines, where Theseus befriends another prisoner, the thief Stavros.

Phaedra has a vision of Theseus fighting Hyperion after accidentally touching him and tells Stavros to make sure Theseus is always by his side. She and the other captured oracles later start a riot, in which she, Theseus, and Stravros escape alongside other slaves. Theseus decides to go after Hyperion and the others follow him. They attack a boat filled with Hyperion's men, but are overpowered. They are however rescued when Poseidon causes a tidal wave which knocks Hyperion's men out. On their way out, Phaedra has a vision that Theseus needs to return to his village and bury his mother, which he does.

In the process, he finds the Epirus Bow, but is attacked by Hyperion's soldier, the Minotaur while the others are attacked by soldiers. The Minotaur was warned of Theseus' presence by Lysander. Theseus finally defeats the Minotaur and rescues his allies using the Epirus Bow, before collapsing due to being poisoned by the Minotaur. Phaedra takes him to her house, where she cures him and they have sex, which causes her to lose her premonitory powers.

The group returns to Phaedra's temple, only to discover that it is filled with Hyperion's soldiers. They capture the group and steal the Epirus Bow, forcing Ares to intervene and save them. Athena comes from Olympus as well. Zeus sees this as treachery, and is ready to kill Athena, but he spares her life. Ares, however, does not back down, and says that he had to do what he did. An infuriated Zeus uses a fire chain to knock Ares into the marble wall to his presumed death. Athena is able to provide horses for the group which they use to ride to Mount Tartarus which is under attack by Hyperion's forces. Hyperion releases the Titans using the Epirus Bow, and they are confronted by the Gods, while Theseus and his allies join forces with the Athenian army present.

Theseus enters the temple and fights Hyperion. He is stabbed multiple times, but is able to kill Hyperion by stabbing him in the neck before dying. Meanwhile, the Gods are overpowered by the Titans, who kill Stavros, Apollo, Athena, Heracles and Poseidon. Before Zeus returns to Mount Olympus with his dead daughter, he collapses the temple upon the Titans, killing them as well as most of Hyperion's forces, while the rest are crushed by the collapsing temple. Two beams are seen ascending to Olympus which are Zeus carrying his daughter and Poseidon. Theseus also ascends to the skies as a beam.

Theseus is welcomed into Mount Olympus by the Gods for his sacrifice, and is awarded with a son from his night with Phaedra. The boy inherits his mother's premonitions and is trained by the old man in mastering them after discovering that, in the future, there will be a war between the Gods and the Titans, with Theseus leading the Gods in battle on Mount Olympus.

This would be a good movie with a good storyline and good action, if you're just there for the movie. But if you knows a bit of the Greek Myth/Gods, this will be sucks man~ compare to Clash of The Titans, this is so horrible~

But back to the movie, i'm very glad a non-caucasian become the director. Freida Pinto first try to be so sexy, nice... And of course, Henry Cavill is hot as well. Overall this is a quite good if you just enjoy the action & thingy~ :)

Released Year: 2010
Directed by Louis Leterrier

Casted by:
Sam Worthington as Perseus
Ralph Fiennes as Hades
Liam Neeson as Zeus
Gemma Arterton as Io
Alexa Davalos as Andromeda
Story:
The film begins with the story of the Titans. The Titans were finally defeated by their sons Zeus , Poseidon ), and Hades , when Zeus convinced Hades to create a monstrous creature, the Kraken (made from Hades' flesh). Zeus became ruler of the heavens, Poseidon became king of the seas, and Hades (tricked by Zeus) was left to rule the Underworld. Zeus created humankind, and in time, humankind began to question the gods.

A millennium later, a fisherman named Spyros finds a coffin in the sea. A baby and his dead mother are in it. Spyros adopts the boy (whom he names Perseus) and raises him as his own son. Years later, the now adult Perseus is aboard a small fishing boat with his family, when they witness a group of soldiers from Argos destroying a massive statue of Zeus, as a declaration of war against the gods. Hades appears in the form of a flock of and massacres the soldiers. After Hades has achieved victory, he destroys the fishing boat as well, drowning Perseus' family.

Perseus is found by soldiers , though this term is Roman rather than Greek), who march him into Argos. He is brought before King Cepheus and Queen [[Cassiopeia ) , during their celebration of the war on the gods. Cepheus and Cassiopeia are oblivious to the lives already lost in the newly declared war. The King makes boastful statements to disrespect the gods, and the Queen compares their daughter [[Andromeda ) to the goddess [[Aphrodite]), much to their daughter's dismay. n Mount Olympus.

Hades argues that the gods must act with vengeance against the uprising, and Zeus is extremely angered, which gives Hades the opportunity to appear before his brother o convinces Zeus that he has to be allowed to destroy Argos. Hades appears in the courtroom, kills the remaining soldiers and ages Cassiopeia to the brink of death. Hades threatens that if Princess Andromeda is not sacrificed to appease the gods within ten days, Argos will be destroyed by the Kraken. As he departs, he identifies Perseus as a Demigod. Hermes ( the Messenger God informs Zeus that his son Perseus is alive in Argos. Zeus refuses to protect his son when he learns of this.

The King imprisons Perseus, because he will not fight with Argos against the gods. ] reveals to Perseus his true lineage. In order to punish King Acrisius for his own war on the gods, Zeus disguised himself as Acrisius and seduced Danaë, impregnating her. When Acrisius set Danaë and the baby Perseus adrift in their coffin, an enraged Zeus struck Acrisius with lightning leaving him hideously disfigured. She also tells Perseus she does not age as punishment for refusing to be seduced by the god Poseidon . After learning that killing the Kraken would allow him to have his revenge against Hades (whom he blames for his family's deaths) Perseus agrees to lead Argos' finest soldiers on a quest to find the . They are joined by a pair of monster hunters named Ozal and Kucuk . Io follows as well.

Hades finds Acrisius (now called Calibos) and reveals his plan to use the Kraken to destroy Argos, thereby strengthening himself and gaining his revenge against Zeus for his betrayal after the Titan battle. Hades imbues Calibos with superhuman powers in order to kill Perseus. While in the woods, Perseus discovers a sword forged in Olympus, as well as Zeus' sacred herd of flying horses, the Pegasi. Perseus refuses both the sword, which only he can use, and Pegasus, which the gods were offering as assistance, as Perseus does not wish to become a god. Calibos attacks the group and kills nearly all the praetorian guards and tries to murder Perseus, but is forced to flee after Draco cuts off his hand. However, Calibos' blood forms giant scorpions out of the sand, which attack Perseus and kill all of the guards, except for Draco , Solon ([[Liam Cunningham , Eusebios and Ixas (.

The survivors are saved by the , a band of former human shamans who have turned themselves into the Demons of Arabian mythology, by replacing their "battle wounds with charwood and black magic." Though they do not trust the Djinn at first until their leader Sheikh Suleiman (Ian Whyte) heals Perseus' wounds. When Solon and Draco see Suleiman healing Perseus, they think he is attacking him and try to save him. Suleiman effortlessly defeats all the warriors and says that the only way to help Perseus is by them all working together. The Djinn joins Perseus' group, as they too wish to see the gods overthrown.

The heroes go to visit the Stygian witches and are told that the solution lies with the head of the Gorgon Medusa, which could kill the Kraken by turning it to stone. When Perseus is warned that his group will die in the process, all of the Djinn, except for Suleiman, leave them. Ozal and Kucuk also leave, explaining that they cannot fight in the Underworld. Perseus is visited by Zeus who offers him asylum on Mount Olympus, but he refuses. Zeus gives him a golden drachma as a means to bribe Charon, for passage into the Underworld. In the battle with Medusa (Natalia Vodianova), the Gorgon shoots Solon, and he falls to his death. Medusa kills Ixas and Eusebios by petrifying them. Perseus then lures Medusa out, and Sulieman tries to behead her but only manages to cut through a few snakes on her head. Medusa traps Suleiman by coiling her tail around him and attempts to petrify him. Suleiman cannot be petrified and he self-destructs, blasting a part of her body by using his magic. Draco then sacrifices himself by distracting the injured Medusa, so that Perseus is able to behead her. Emerging from the Underworld, Perseus sees Calibos stab Io from behind. After a short duel, Perseus kills Calibos, using the sword from Olympus, which restores Calibos to human form. With his last breath, Calibos (now Acrisius) urges Perseus not to be like the gods. Perseus watches as Io is transformed into gold dust and is swept away to Olympus. He then rides Pegasus back to Argos, with Medusa's head.

In Argos, the Cult of Hades plots to sacrifice Andromeda to the Kraken. As the Kraken is released, Hades reveals to Zeus that the destruction of Argos will give him enough power to overthrow the other Olympians, ending Zeus's reign, as revenge on Zeus for cheating him, but Zeus reveals Perseus is still alive in Argos. Although Hades sends his harpies to kill Perseus, Perseus uses the head of Medusa to turn the Kraken into stone and saves Andromeda. Cepheus stops Prokopion, the cult leader, from killing Andromeda by grabbing his burnt arm, who in turn stabs Cepheus, but both Cepheus and Prokopion are then crushed by the Kraken's stone hand. Hades appears and smugly sneers that as he is immortal, Perseus cannot kill him. Perseus retorts that Hades can live forever, but not in the world of humans. He then uses the Sword of Olympus (amplified with Zeus' lightning) and throws it at Hades, hitting him in the chest with enough force to send Hades flying back into the Underworld (through the crack from which the Kraken emerged, which closes behind Hades). Andromeda asks Perseus to become king of Argos, but he declines. Zeus again offers Perseus his place on Olympus, but Perseus declines this as well. Zeus warns him that Hades will someday return for revenge again when humankind's fear is great. Since Perseus insists on staying on Earth, Zeus (before disappearing) resurrects Io, while Pegasus flies overhead. [edit] Alternate ending The special features of the Blu-ray has an alternate ending that was cut from the film. After defeating the Kraken and Hades, Andromeda falls into the sea and Perseus dives in to save her. When he reaches her, he embraces her with a passionate kiss, indicating that he fell in love with her, and she with him. After reaching the shore and regaining consciousness, Andromeda asks Perseus if he will stay and he says there is someone he needs to talk to, before kissing her again, indicating that he will come back. Getting on Pegasus, he flies to Mt. Olympus where he confronts Zeus, stating that he does not wish to be one of them and that any conflict between them has just started. After slamming his sword into the gods' map and shattering the models of every living person, he leaves and is seen flying on Pegasus over the sea, presumably back to Argos.

Uma Thurman is the main reason i went for this film, this is exactly those poison ivy kind of character she's good at :) Her beautiful eye is breath-taking. Though she does not appear much but enough to make you remember her appearance. The story is kinda nice, but i'm not sure whether it follow the original novel or not.

Greek's God and Mythic Creatures are always the fancy kind of thing that i like. And all the actors and actresses are cute :) seriously, look at logan and u jst feel like pinching his cheeks~
