Story:

The story started because of a vinyl record & a male dog being abandoned. Yue is a newspaper column writer with the title of "Period". She get into a fight with a famous radio DJ Rong, after failing to get back the vinyl record she has bought for her first boyfriend and Rong told everyone in his radio talk. 

Yue and Rong met in a party, and after discover each other identity, Yue angrily splash Rong with red wine. The war has been declared, both attacking each other with their own media. In another hand, Cat & Mou's fate link together because of an adopted dog...

Seriously, this movie is not good at all. Not only there's no main point in this movie which lead to no excitement part at all, it ends badly as well. Think this movie only selling point are Aaron Kwok and Kelly Chen...

 Story:

But their operation of playing around lead to a lot of bad lucks and comedies, and in the end total failure!

At first I found this movie is kinda stupid but yet funny as well~ They acted as if they are ICAC or CID like that, make the comedy a bit tense and few times it make me burst into laughter... Well, that was how i feel when i watch it during the first time, but as I rewatch this movie now, it did not really give me that feeling anymore... 

A good comedy movie should be able to create the same feeling no matter how many times you watch it right? Haha, i didn't mean to sound like a pro here, but i hope i am :p I'm still looking for the sequence of this movie, anybody got it?

 Story: 

Butterfly is a writer who wrote boring story, Kei falls for her but later discover that Butterfly and her friend Juan were suspected to be the black rose gang. Both girls flee but Juan was caught by the gangster while Butterfly went into the black rose mansion. Both Hong & Fan is the apprentice of the black rose master; while Kei looks like their former lover. Hong lost her mind while Fan play with it and force Kei to marry her. When the gangster came with Juan, Hong woke up from her craziness and manage to defeat the gangster together with Fan. They know Kei is not their lover, therefore let him go. After that Kei and Butterfly live happily ever after~

This is one of the classic comedy in the 90s of HK block buster. It has help Tony Leong won his first Best Actor award in HK Film Awards while Petrina won Best Supporting Actress. In the meantime Wong Wan Shi & Teresa Mo were also nominated in the best supporting actress category as well. Overall the movie is funny, but just some part which is a bit extra...

 Story:

 Doi was employed to maintain a hotel's in a 5 stars grade and he experienced with few staffs, Tou a cleaner who wants everything clean; Ding an assistant manager who always not serious; Jun a receptionist who always wanted to be in a movie. 

They mistaken a beggar as a hotel's commenter and put the real one into a helper in the hotel. They also encounter Bobo's marriage at the hotel with his uncle Xin on rejection. In the end they manage everything also able to maintain the hotel as a deluxe hotel.

Can feel that they wanted to use a lot of super stars to show in this movie, but how laugh-able is this movie? Not really, as i feel most of the parts are quite boring and stupid instead... Won't consider to watch it again...

Story:

Desperate Yan saw Feng in a club reading Dan Brown's novel and tackle him, they have sex 3 times on that night. The next day they were shocked during work time as they discover each other real identity. Feng was forced to work for Yan due to his boss' debts. Yan discuss her life with her 4 best friend - Doris, Remmy, Mimi & Fanny regarding her new life.

As one of the client request to have Lady Gaga as performer in their wedding, Yan went to seek help from Feng's mother, Lady Mama. Yan and Feng get together though Yan still can't forget Kelvin, his ex boyfriend who left her during their wedding. As time goes by, Yan once and once dissapointed Feng in front of the colleagues and her best friend. During a birthday celebration, Feng chose the pretty Flora who has been falling for him.

Yan is angry on Feng with Flora and decided to marry with Kelvin. Feng and Flora shopping but Feng's heart is not there, Flora pissed off and dump him in front of Doris, Remmy, Mimi & Fanny. The girls advice Feng to go for Yan. When Feng reach the jetty, he thought Yan has left but actually Yan run away from the wedding this time. 3 months later, they met again and discover Yan is still single. They get together and have great sex again.

L² Comment:

No doubt this is a nice and funny romance film, but i don't think Miriam Yeung is good enough to win Best Actress in one of the award. Its nothing special compare to her previous acting. For me, if Raymond Lam really wanna outstand himself, i would recommend him to appear on the big screen with only short underwear or let us have a good look at his butt~ or else, with his this kind of acting, he will never shine at all~

Story:

Ching is a weather caster while his son Seng is the camera guy to shoot him fall into the sea during a hurricane. Mei (Ching's eldest daughter) is a lawyer and treat his husband, Ming like a servant. Jing (Ching's 2nd daughter) always dress up like a man and have a sissy boyfriend, Wa who work as Jing's subordinate.

While Hong Kong (almost all properties) belong to Roberto and his father, Roberto still insist to create a fake "end of the world" situation to trick the Hong Kong Citizens so that he can earn more. Ching found out this, and together with his old time baby Yee to gather the information of Roberto and announce it to the whole world. In the meantime, Seng fall in love with Vivian who happened to be the celebrity of Roberto's company.

Ming has been stress under the control of Mei for all these year. Ming strike back and have role play with Mei which make her happy. But the happy time ended fast too when their god-daughter Hong appeared which was mistaken by Mei as a hooker. Jing thought she was pregnant and told Wa about it. When they are happily planning their wedding, Jing found out it was not a pregnant but decided not to tell Wa about it. Wa found out and they argue.

In the end, Roberto's bad attitude was found out after Ching reported it to the whole world. Everybody forget the things their love one has make it and happily ever after.

Wow, i never realized IOI mall is still showing this on the big screen. Well, the whole movie is not bad, can say that its as good as the 2011 :) Funny yet not having the cheapy-kinda feel~ good work!!! Hope to see this again in 2013!!!

Story:

Shen is a mediocre con artist and learn all his trick from his master. He met Yuan and was drag into a deal with Gui Li to pay back Yuan's debt. In another hand, Fatt have plastic surgery but still get caught by Gui Li for owning his debt. Therefore Fatt decided to cheat all the valuable antique for Gui Li.

During Fatt stealing events, he overheard a phone call mentioning that a rich heir Jackie is coming back and Fatt decided to change his plan. In a coincidence Shen claimed himself as Jackie and together with Yuan, they decided to trick Fatt for money. Fatt hire Apple as his daughter and Ping as his wife for the whole con. When both of their trick failed, only they realize they have the same debtor and wanted to con Gui Li instead.

With the help of Shen's master, they get to trick Gui Li in giving them money and Gui Li was beaten up by his own brother. Finally, everyone managed to clear their debts.

This movie rank on number 17 in Hong Kong blockbuster in 1991. I love this movie the most in Stephen Chow's series, the best movie ever for me~ i laugh and laugh until i can't breath, no matter how many times i watch~ Really hope to see all of them work together and get us some good comedy again~ :)

All's Well, Ends Well 家有囍事

Story:

The Sheung's 3 brothers are staying together with their parents. Moon the eldest was married with Sou, a woman who save everything and considered for the whole family. But during their wedding anniversary, Moon went out with Sheila the mistress and forgot about Sou. Sou finally gave up on their marriage one day when Moon was drunk and brought Sheila homes.

So the second son is a bit sissy who's been waiting for his cousin sister Yun Kuan to come back from USA. So has been always fighting with the manly aunty Shuang. Shuang however is waiting for her dream man Ka Ming to be back from USA too.

Foon the youngest is a DJ and a playboy. He met Yuk the movie freak who is hot and pretty. Foon finally slept with Yuk and Yuk wanna get involved in the relationship seriously. But Yuk later found out that Foon has been fooling with a playgirl when she's not around. Trying to get away, Foon accidentally hit his brain and cause him to become insane. Yuk was frustrated and decided to pretend as a nurse to take care of Foon, but the real purpose is to cut off Foon's penis.

Moon has found Sou working outside and become more attractive nowadays. Moon decided to win back Sou as the parents dislike Sheila. On the parent's birthday, Yun Kuan and Ka Ming was back but they announced they were engaged. This has broke So and Shuang's heart. Both of them sleep together and they got back their normal hormon. Once again Foon hit his head and got back all his memory and he promised to be with Yuk forever.

The 2 younger brothers help Moon to win back Sou and they did. Finally everybody is happy and ready for the chinese new year celebration.

This film hit the 2nd place in Hong Kong Blockbuster during 1992. As a chinese new year celebration film, it definitely earn much. Well, with so many huge celebrities inside, why can't it? Right?

Love the part where Stephen Chow and Maggie Cheung kiss in a Paris' Eiffel Tower pose, so damn hilarious. Teresa Mo and Leslie Cheung? Haha~ i remember Leslie once swore that he will not become gay if Teresa Mo ever promised to married him at that time. A very good comedy for a lazy weekend :)
