Story:

Naina is a punjabi living in New York City with her family. Her mother, Jennifer and granny, Laijo always argue about the death of Naina's father and the bias of the sibbling, Shiv & Gia. In the meanwhile, Naina's friend, Sweetu and her sister Jazz is living next to them and Jazz is Jennifer's business partner. Naina also has one friend, Rohit who's study the master programme with her and always lures around with pretty girl.

On one fine day, Uncle Chadda who's living across the road has invited his sister and nephew over, Aman. Aman was attracted to the beautiful Naina. The happy Aman has changed the neighbourhood after his arrival. Aman even help the restaurant of Jennifer & Jazz to compete with the chinese restaurant. Everything went well and Naina has eventually fall into this beutiful hunk. In the meanwhile, Rohit also fall for her. After Aman knew that Rohit like Naina, he used Priya to pretend as his wife to shoo Naina away.

The real reason is that Aman has cancer and he does not have much time left, and Priya is his doctor instead. Aman even teach Rohit ways to tackle Naina, and finally Naina fall in love with the handsome Rohit. During an invitation to Rohit's parents' anniversary, Rohit proposed and Naina accepted. Naina was happy to get her engagement but in the mean time she found out that Aman taught Rohit the tackle tactics... Getting angry, Naina run away but Aman managed to get her back to Rohit.

Seeing the girl he like marry to another guy, Aman was heart-break. But to make her happy, he pretend nothing happened. During the engagement party, Aman's get sicked and went to the hospital. Naina & Rohit went shopping and accidentally bumped into Priya and her husband and found out about Aman's illness. In the end everybody send their last farewell to Aman.

After 20 years, Naina has her conversation with Gia and both of them agree that Rohit has been a good husband. Every girl will always dream to have their best friend as their husband too.

Woosh~ my 1st hindu movie ever :) the 1st tamil will be "one 2 kaa 4" which i watched century ago and i don't quite remember the story line anymore. Well, back to this movie, it really really fascinating. Not like traditional tamil film, this was shot in New York and not too much of singing and dancing but enough to make you falling in love with it.

They even have their hindu version of pretty woman~ isn't that awesome? :) And of coz, this great piece of work has won many awards such as Best Film, Best Director (Nikhil), Best Actor (Sharukh), Best Actress (Preity), Best supporting Actor (Saif Ali) , Best supporting Actress(Jaya), Best Choreography, Best Cinematographer, Best Costume, Best Art Direction, Best Lyricist~

Phew!!! Saif Ali is so hot~ :)
