A Chinese Ghost Story 3 倩女幽魂3 :道道道

Story:
Continues from the 1st series of A Chinese Ghost Story, the legendary Yen has sealed the Thousand Year Tree Devil, known as the Granny in a well. After one hundred year, Granny free herself and continue to suck "Qi" from young man to upgrade her level of devilness.

This time, Granny has Zok and Butterfly to work for her. As usual, Zok and Butterfly will use their beautiness to have sex with the young man, while doing so, Granny will come and suck their Qi off. Fang and his master Cloud were delivering a gold buddha statue to a city. The master sense the Granny and try to capture her.

While Cloud fighting with Granny, Zok came and seduce Fang to have sex with her. But Fang is a good monk, he will not let go on the seduce. Zok falls for Fang because of his seriousness, she then beg for Fang to bring her away. Yen is a young ghost buster who love the legendary Yen who appeared 100 years ago. He was willing to help Zok to escape from Granny. But Zok's bones were burried near Granny's tree, they have to dig it up and bring it away.

Just when they thought they have save Zok, Cloud was caught by Granny instead. The gang have to turn back to save the old master. Zok pretend to betray Fang and Yen to win back the heart of Granny. But Granny force her to marry the mountain devil. When Cloud was saved, the team try to get away but was blocked by Butterfly. Zok has to fight with her best friend, but Butterfly was killed by Granny in the end.

Finally, Fang found the lost gold buddha statue and use it to defeat Granny. Once again, Granny was defeated for sure and vanished into ashes. The end has came, Fang brought Zok's bones with him to continue his journey.

What should i say? This movie is better than the 2nd one for sure. But i really cant let go off Leslie Cheung in this movie. Its so different with Tony Leung in this :( And Qian hasn't been appear in the 2nd and 3rd movie. Kinda dissapointing...

  2. Firstly, Tony Leung played the part well. I liked the costumes, especially the ghosts Japanese style hair. And it was funny lo, even just the starting part where Tony was following his master in the desert.
